This is a question about scrotes and their thought process

Over the years I had several guys admit that they think I’m “bitchy” and dislike my personality. I’ve been insulted for not allowing men to treat me like shit and demanding respect. Because of this I’ve been labelled “difficult” by some and men seem to dislike my personality.

Yet these same guys ask me out and want to have sex with me. What’s up with that? When I dislike a guy I don’t want to have sex with him. Why do men want to fuck people they can’t even stand?

For example I used to briefly work in a male dominated environment and hated my male coworkers (they were all typical bros). I’m pretty sure I was referred to as the ‘bitch’ when I wasn’t around. After I quit I received texts from them asking me out on a date or first negging me and then asking if I want to hook up😑

So, I've been posting the last few weeks about being on the fence about a man I've been seeing who has been really wonderful and I was enjoying his company, but his feminine voice and mannerisms were kind of turning me off and giving me pause. His voice isn't high-pitched for the record, it's just kind of got a valley-girl intonation.

I accepted a house date after a month and about 7 dates, because I thought maybe a make-out session would help me determine if there was enough physical chemistry to pursue this.

I'm pleased to report that I think the house date was the right move here, and I do want to keep seeing him.

He has the nicest apartment I've ever been in. It's a 2 bed/2.5 bath, top floor of a downtown high rise, he lives alone, and it's incredibly thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. It's very obvious he cares about his space and home.

He has a very shy kitty that he seems very patient with.

He cooked for me. I've had plenty of men tell me they're good cooks, but I was always underwhelmed with their dishes. His cooking was actually delicious, I even asked for a recipe.

I creeped on his bookshelf. He had books about anti-racism, relationships and communication, philosophy, and spirituality. Nothing problematic that I could see.

Annnnd, I did actually feel excited and turned on while we made out. I seemed to notice the feminine mannerisms less and less as the evening continued. I've communicated to him that sex is something I consider to be sacred and not something I take lightly or rush into, and he seems very accepting of that.

So, green lights so far, but I know to always be vetting. There was something he told me about his previous relationship that gave me pause (I asked) and I'm going to have to ask him some more questions, but other than that... I'm looking forward to seeing him again. He booked us an archery class lol.

Update: I told him I’m bi to try to bring up the subject of sexual orientation, and he says he’s completely straight 🤷🏻‍♀️ He strikes me as someone who is in tune with himself and would have a very supportive family if he were gay/bi, so I suppose all I can do is take him on his word, but keep an eye out for anything that doesn’t add up.

Still a newbie here so I am not sure if creating a new post is OK but since joing FDS the last 2 months I have realised how my male friends have crossed the line/boundaries.

In my early 20s I had some genuinely nice male friends who looked out for me. They drifted away as they started families or moved cities. However, I realised this week that out of the of the male acquaintances I now have (around 6) that all have crossed the line/boundaries with me in the last 3 or 4 years. I tried to laugh it off or ignore but now I realised its not OK.

From saying they are my friend and turning around saying they are taking me on a date, inviting me round and putting their arm around me while watching tv, trying to make me sit on their lap. Two actually became quite controlling and sent abusive whatsapp messages and even letters when they didn't like something I had done. Demanding an apology or just wanting to keep tearing me down until they felt better. I currently have one who keeps sending random photos until I reply or asking in the evenings what i'm up to.

Its been a bit of shock realising this and now I need to work out how to get away from the ones who are still doing this. Im not as shy or introverted as I once was but still struggle with confrontation.

I was so nervous but I said I was not interested; no excuse, no lies, just not interested!!!!!!! I feel so empowered! I still had anxious butterflies afterward for a long time, realizing I stood up to a man, but I am so proud of myself for being honest and not sacrificing my integrity for his comfort! Thinking about potentially dating and marrying a LVM scares the crap out of me. It's so easy to come on here, comment, and upvote empowering HVW/Queen shit—much harder to apply to real life when you meet a guy you like. Looking back, the last guy I dated was not HV at all, and I dated him when I had already discovered FDS. I didn't realize how truly LV he was until after the fact.

I'm scared that when I get back out there after the pandemic, I'm just going to fall back into old patterns again. Wish my picker wasn't so "off".

Just had to discuss a conversation I had with two co-workers (let's call them Abby and Sarah) who are living in pickme hell.

Abby: Is 30 and dating a man 17 years her senior 🚩 who has 3 kids from a previous marriage 🚩. She has recently moved in with him, but his kids visit every weekend so she never gets the weekends to herself as she's always having to look after his kids 🚩. The kids are homeschooled by their mother and are falling behind in basic literacy and math 🚩. Their father doesn't use the time he has with them to teach them anything 🚩 he just plays with them and Abby has to discipline them and teach them things on what should be her days off🚩. Abby also works a full time, busy job so she says she wishes she had her weekends to rest and relax. She says he doesn't plan any quality time with her 🚩. She complains that he is not romantic towards her and won't arrange alternative childcare on the weekends in order to spend time with her once in a while 🚩. She says she is worried that she'll never be able to go on holiday with him because he will always have childcare responsibilities 🚩. She recently had to sit him down and communicate that she wanted him to make more of an effort towards her 🚩.

Sarah: Sarah is also dating a man with kids (not sure of the age difference). They have been dating for five years and she would like to be married but has convinced herself that marriage isn't that important 🚩 (not saying marriage is for everyone but she's literally gaslighting herself into justifying why something she really wants is not important to her). When she spends time with her bf she has to manage his diary to "remind him" that he'll be spending time with her 🚩. The last time she had to have a 'talk' with him about his behaviour (aka not showing her enough attention or prioritising her in any way) she went ahead and 'blocked' out his diary to make a point of it to him 🚩. She told me this story triumphantly, as if she had won a great battle and Abby was there congratulating her on her resourcefulness saying "if that's what you need to do to get his attention then good for you!" 🚩

Honestly, I feel sorry for these women. They are racked with insecurities and stuck in relationships with men who use them as babysitters, bangmaids and free labour. They don't care about them. The women bend over backwards to make these non-viable relationships work and then pat themselves on the back for how flexible they are, not realising they're damaging their spines and abilities to stand up straight.

I had a male colleague ask me out a few months ago after my divorce. He would call me outside or work hours and I never answered or returned texts that weren’t work related. Somehow he thought it was appropriate to pursue me even after this. I said no and I’m not attracted to you. I also told him (this was a few months back) to not contact me again unless it was work related. Flash forward to last week, he texted me saying he wanted me to come by his classroom to give me a formal apology. I didn’t reply. I contacted admin who sent him a verbal warning to not contact me again unless it was work related. I was so proud of myself. I was the fifth or so girl this happened to, and the first to report him. Hopefully this will stop this predator.

Ladies, I need a pep talk.

I’m ‘stuck’ in a holding pattern, and I notice it’s driving me a little crazy.

I’ll file for divorce in August, but that means I’m here for the next 3 months (and then there’s a 90 day wait period in our state). Things are fine. My kids and I are safe.

But it’s like a cloud of depression/anxiety is here with me as I’m living in this house with my husband in the meantime.

I’m anxious about housing post divorce. But it’s not something I can action on right now, so it’s just crazy-making. I know it will work out. That’s just the fear my brain has latched on to to try and convince me NOT to.

It feels like a run out the clock situation which means I’m not LIVING, I’m just surviving. Trying to get by with the least amount of stress and drama. Which then makes me feel guilt that I’m not doing better/more for myself and my kids. What the fuck is this impossible treadmill my brain has put itself on?!

It’s just exhausting.

Please please please - any tips or suggestions or pep talks or anything would be so welcomed and valued.

Random weirdo story time:

I was in class in an auditorium style seating sitting in the far left seat. The rest of the row is empty except for the last two seats with two girls in it. This guy decides to sit right next to me. He start saying hi, that I have a pretty smile. I say thank you and face forward again. The professor starts lecturing and I can see this guy staring at me through my peripherals. He tries to talk to me again but I ignore him.

This guy abruptly stands up and instead of exiting the row through my side he walks to the opposite end of the row and makes the girls scramble to to let him through cuz auditorium seats are tight and he was kinda big too. These girls look at me bemused laughing cuz they could tell something was up. He never came back to the lecture at all just left his stuff on the floor

tldr: weirdo stares at me in a lecture then storms out when I ignore him

I had to have a roommate move in and so far the roommate is very LV! I need some tips for how to cope. I laid down boundaries and said that I will not be stuck for money, and if they refuse to clean up after themselves I will charge them a maid fee, and if they refuse to cleanup or pay me the maid fee, they will have to move out.

I HATE having a roommate. my energy is drained and I am more STRESSED Than ever having someone else here. it feels like more WORK was added to my plate but FINANCIALLY moving cost so much and I still am getting my business on track and still have student debt. I cut all my subscriptions and started cutting more corners financially. I did make some more progress at paying down more bills and paid next months rent early.

my small business is slowly picking up again. I found some jobs in the area that are in my field and pay well. I applied for some student loan re-financing and got denied, but I have a great credit score and payment history. so I am going to talk to my bank this week, they preapproved me.

my grandpa is doing well despite being sick and the state he lives in is opening and just started allowing visitors again, my mom offered to buy me a plane ticket to come and visit and I am planning on going up this summer. I would love to see him again, after almost a year. we are very close and he has been my father figure my whole life.

lastly, there is a plasma donation center and I will be driving in this week, I couldn't get through on the phone and the website wouldn't let me sign up online. I heard you can make between $100 and $200 a week just by donating plasma. it is something I want to look into as that money could get put directly on my student loans.

Wanted to reply to the gal who posted on AskFDS regarding whether she should be concerned about a man’s grief after 10 years of his girlfriend passing away tragically, but am unable because I’m still new here and don’t have flair. Maybe she can read it here?

My husband passed away suddenly and tragically 4 years ago. I was completely destroyed with grief, and have since spent all my time and energy into healing and rebuilding a life for myself. Even though I have done and continue to do the work it is an ongoing process. I’m able to bring up my husband in conversation most of the time in a light way that doesn’t trigger any overwhelming emotions. However, if going into a deeper conversation with someone I trust and feel like I can be vulnerable, I find that it still stings in some places and that I have more to accept, and triggers waterworks... we never get over these losses, but if we are lucky we can get through it. Take what I say with a grain of salt, maybe you have pause or are doubting for a valid reason. By itself, this doesn’t necessarily indicate red flag, but continue to vet. Never stop vetting, many times you can feel if something is off, and it is always better to check in with that feeling. Stay safe.

Y’all, I’ve been deeply thinking about the difference between demanding/asking for respect (or kindness or equality) and simply expecting it. It’s taken me like 10+ years of therapy to really understand the difference.

-when you’re fighting for or demanding respect it’s under the assumption that if you do or say the right thing then the person on the other end is finally going to give it to you. When you’re expecting it then it’s just something you deeply believe you deserve so if you don’t get it, you very calmly just remove yourself from the situation.

-fighting for or demanding respect from LVM (or other garbage people) simply gives them more of our time and emotional labor. It’s not my job to make them better people. I have a job and that ain’t it.

-fighting for or demanding things makes you seem desperate, or at least angry. I don’t actually want to spend my emotions on someone who doesn’t treat me with decency.

-these aren’t things that you should have to fight for or demand. You deserve honesty, respect, kindness, generosity. When you don’t get those things, you don’t even have to come up with something witty before you block or ignore someone. They literally don’t deserve your attention. No answer is a very loud answer.

-In fact, starting a conversation after being disrespected just shows them that you’re willing to engage and well... no, I’m not willing to engage with people who don’t respect me.

Seriously 10 years of CBT have taught me that I don’t have to claw my way into being respected, I just have to erase disrespectful people from my life so that the respectful ones have room to enter.

So I have read the handbook and been out lurking on this sub enough to know that I need help. I'm single and never been married and no kids with a career so my life is actually intact. I just felt like... What was that movie? Charlie st cloud? Where after he dated a girl the girl moves on fast and marries the next one hehe. So that happened to the last 3 exes (our relationship gets into a a rough patch when they start talking to a girl to confide in and they end up getting together) I'm 33 if that helps. I don't want them back but it does kind of feel unfair that they got their happily ever after

Granted those were men I met from dating sites and not organically. So I was thinking what to do now. Country is still in lockdown and I'm on wfh. Maybe yes being comfortable being single and accepting the option may be forever is not such a bad thing after seeing a lot of posts that men if you settle, don't really add value to your life

I've been able to spoil myself when I got rid of dead weight relationships and buy the things I wanted for myself. From luxury bags to diamond earrings because I wasn't spending to carry the 50|50. Even managed to finally pay off student loans too.

I know I was happier in previous relationships where standards are high and I met them organically. It's just frustrating right now.

I just have to vent. I filed a complaint at work on behalf of several coworkers for preferential treatment and hostile work environment. I’m leaving to a new job, so I didn’t fear retaliation, or at least not for long. The supervisor in question must have told the woman that was receiving the special treatment about it, as well as their mutual male colleague, and started a smear campaign against me. She told everyone at the office that I was accusing her of sleeping with the boss. Um, hello? Everyone already thinks you are, and I’m trying to put a stop to all of this? Some women really are part of the problem. It bothers me she fell for the crappy supervisor’s attempt of pitting against each other. I told their mutual friend that maybe parking by each other and having lunch together isn’t helping their case, so they park in a different lot now. Good! At least don’t rub the favoritism in other employees’s faces. Anyhow, ladies, let’s make sure to support other women in the workplace, and even if it’s not your experience that you’ve been harassed, perhaps at least don’t participate in fighting against those who have.

Men don't understand leagues. An ugly low value man will want to date a hot woman out if his league and expect the women he date to be hot enough to to show off to his friends. How often have you seen a man date someone in a lower or equal league to him? Women on the other hand usually if not always date down or their equal league. I did it, I faded and ghosted all my male friends. I feel so much for filled and find myself relaxed, focused and less stressed for some reason. I read more, spending more time with my family, being vunerable with my friends, my days are lighter. I remembered how many hobbies I have and I am becoming more confident in class. It’s a strange experience!

Of course I couldn’t have done this with out joining FDS, which I am so grateful for.

I tolerated men as friends for so long but not a day more. It’s been one week since going cold turkey. The withdrawals are scary but I know it will get better in time.

Met a guy who works for one of the big porn companies. He does advertising and marketing work for them (looking to do it in the long term). I just got an email updating me on the job at the VA. It sounds super promising! I'm super excited about it and honestly think I'm going to get the job. Definitely just have to wait and see. Hopefully the process will get started by November or December so that I'll have been in current job (which I love!) for a year and a half at the least.

So my girlfriend really made me reconsider the relationship last night. She backed out of a camping trip with some buddies and decided to wait 3 days prior to the trip. I broke up with my girlfriend because I might move to San Antonio. But now I'm questioning my need to move. I have a wonderful job here, good friends whom I go camping with and hang out with, I have a home that I've been slowly remodeling to make it my own. Really - there's nothing necessarily pushing me away other than the fact that I enjoy switching things up and would like to return to Texas.

How do you politely tell a guy to step off? At work, a guy came to the desk and asked if I was bored. I was slightly bored since I was doing a monotonous task but it wasn’t as bad he made it out to be. So he proceeded to tell me some story about seeing a committee at his job and how they only put him on a probation period after he got into a disagreement with a customer at his job. He of course made it seem like the customer was completely in the wrong and that his bosses were in love with the customer. Thus, they were wrong for even putting him on probation. I’ve heard this guy shit on his female roommate (probably his girlfriend but called her his roommate) to my co-worker in order to get sympathy. So I think he’s definitely LV. I was bored AF by his story but didn’t show it.

Fortunately, a patron came to the desk and needed help. Before he left, he said to me “see, I disrupted your boredom” and all I could think was “weeding non-circulating CDs was way more interesting than listening to you.” Of course, I didn’t say that because I need my job. I wonder what you would have said in this situation. How can you professionally show a guy that you don’t give a fuck about his tale and would love for him to go on his merry way?

Men who think the reason you’re single is because you’re a rad fem, they’re so close getting it. I mean it IS why I’m still single but not for the reasons they think it is, it’s not because I put off men it’s because it makes me realise how terrible most men are.
