No, not more. Why do men need to be desired more during sex? Straight sex already sucks for women and is dissatisfying for us. Why not "men feel the need to be desired during sex as well"?

Also, women are not desired more in society, we're just sexualized. Women constantly get criticisms from their partners (and other people too) about how they look. Their partners pressure them to get breast implants, to "lose the last 10 pounds", to be feminine and submissive etc.

Many women don't feel desired either, but almost all feel sexualized! A random 35-year-old dude telling an 18-year old that she has a nice ass doesn't make her feel desired.

Maybe she’s not making you feel desired because she’s standing there, self-conscious about the thousands of “flaws” and “problem areas” she’s been told that will make a man instantly repulsed by her body if he notices. Maybe she’s so focused on looking hot for you, being at the right angles, performing those porn scenes for you and making sure they look good, and trying to ignore how awkward, uncomfortable, or even painful it is for her that she can’t be focused on your self-esteem right now.

Maybe she thinks she is showing you her desire, because she’s been taught that if she really loved you, really wanted you, she’d let you do whatever you want. If she’s willing to let you hurt her for your own pleasure, thats how she shows how much she wants you, right?

Maybe she’s not attracted to you. Maybe you’ve never heard women talk about our physics desire for men’s bodies because we’re shamed for being sexual, shamed for having preferences, shamed for having desires. How are we supposed to somehow make you feel desired while also not actually experiencing desire ourselves?

Maybe there’s a crumb of truth to this, and there’s a portion of men that do long for genuine intimacy and desire. But they’ve sabotaged themselves, through porn culture and commodification of women’s bodies, through turning sex into something we perform for them and something they do to us instead of an act we do together for mutual pleasure, through rejecting relationships in favor of casual sex, and now demanding that we create for them intimacy and connection of a relationship in a casual encounter.

Men like this always see themselves as the subjects and us as the objects. We need to be the objects of their desire, and also the objects that bestow desirability upon them.
