It just seems kind of weird to me- how come in the generation with the least amount of toxic masculinity and the most progressive views on women ever we are the loneliest. I came across a post in r/marriage that left me gob smacked.

the facts:

he's afraid to confront her cause he's scared she just take off to Mexico with his kids.

Oooooh, the first divorce is percolating in my social circle.

The man: 6'3", 350+lbs, balding, fucked up teeth, bipolar, superiority complex, can be a bitch sometimes but for the most part is genial and laid back. Has a petty and selfish side if he feels slighted, has a tendency to be snobbish.

The woman: 5'5", 270ish lbs, missing teeth, TBI victim, loud + aggressive, is a bitch most of the time, but can be sweet and funny if you're on her good side. Has a tendency to collect enemies.

They've never been good together, but they settled for each other as I suspect they both knew this is as good as its going to get (both if them were hit by the ugly stick, and there isn't much room for improvement even with weight loss).

Since the start they've been mutually abusive, but I think she's the only one thats thrown hands. As long as I've known the man he's presented himself as a gentle giant, and he has enough sense to realize any physical retaliation is straight to jail for him.

They moved back to our area because she said she was lonely. In the span of 9 month she's been banned from 3 different households (ours included). They're still unpacked and living out of boxes, the man keeps going on work trips just to avoid her.

He visited us last night and mentioned he's finally started thinking about divorcing her. I don't know if he'll actually go through with it, but I think homeboy is finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hypothesis: Girls have cooties

Watching dated tv shows I do get the feminist media critique about serving the male gaze. Seems like generally unless your role as a woman was meant to be comically ugly you had to be at least a 7 to be considered palatable enough to put on screen. Regardless of what the character is.

Definitely have enjoyed not being on here as much and just existing irl (I finally feel less like an autist when talking to people now). While I do think Chads have a leg up on average dudes when it comes to sexual encounters (Chads have to put in MUCH less energy to get a ONS), I’m seeing a lot of average to below average dudes still have pretty active sex lives. Honestly looks like they went hard on getting charisma and either opted for a gf that is compatible + attractive to them (this probably isn’t easy for some porn brained loners who can’t see most women off screen as pretty) or opted for a few friends with benefits. You do usually have to worry about feelings eventually developing though which is the one drawback.

I'm starting to have this opinion as I lurk and post in this subreddit. It seems like the vast, vast majority of people who speak about it say that they felt like they were spiraling down an incel rabbit hole before they found their first girlfriend because of how lonely they were feeling. I've seen it in my real life, and I had a friend confess that if he hadn't found his girlfriend just before covid he would have fallen down the rabbit hole as well.

With foundation, the function is to make skin look clearer and more perfect. Lip stick, colourful lips are more associated with youth and vitality. Eyeliner, draws attention to eyes, can make eyes look larger for a more neotenous or bold look.

Why is heightism the one of the last few tolerated forms of discrimination? Calling a man short is hardly ever a bannable offence on any social media platform, whereas almost every other personal attack regarding one’s appearance is. It’s not socially acceptable to say “I don’t like you cause you’re fat/ugly/bald” both toward men and women. It always has to be laundered through “you’re not my type/I’m not feeling the vibe”. Yet we have no problem as a society telling men “I’m not into cause you’re too short”. Even women are told “I don’t like you cause you’re too tall” although they aren’t as discriminated for it.

Some people here argue that age gap is predatory or imbalance of power. Yet none of those people would ever argue that women preferring men who are 6feet/tall or significantly physically stronger are seeking relationship to be abused or something along that line.

I remember at one point I used to lurk on the RPW sub. At first it really resonated with me because I'm conservative-leaning and like trad gender roles. But after a while, I realized the women on there still get treated poorly and have the same relationship problems as non-RPW. Trying to be a super amazing gf/wife isn't enough if you pick someone who doesn't appreciate any of that. Still learned a lot from that sub and it inspired me to be more feminine. But this just goes to say that there are no fool-proof methods to having a good relationship.

I remember that small period of time where I would DM women from the SM subreddit to see if I could potentially lead a friendship into a relationship. Figured I would have a better chance of having something in common given we all suffer/ed from the same disorder.

I only tried like I think 4 times so nothing crazy. The friendships all fizzled out/got ghosted expect for the first one, I surprisingly did good on my first try as we're still friends and talk to each other regularly.

Both of our life experiences are really similar given we grew up with the same disorder plus have other common interests outside of that. Still got rejected though. Was easy to get over it since it's all online and words on a screen so it was really was just whatever.

I was doing yard work with my pops and he's listening to boomer talk radio. One of the guy hosts ask another guy host how old he was and the dude hesitated. First guy host was like, "when did men become women in this? Why are men all of a sudden scared to say their age?" and of course the woman host pipes up, "I'm NOT AFRAID to say my age!"
