This is just something I was thinking about. I was talking to a female friend yesterday (who is not really into feminism) and she was lamenting how nowadays, because of the way society has become, a lot of non-sleazy men (I wouldn't say "good guys", just guys who aren't obviously just looking for a lay) are afraid to approach women (I think that makes sense given the last 10 years of societal messaging) and as such, it's hard for her to meet guys. She's not the type to go to bars or clubs, which I think makes it harder for her.

I've been noticing an increasing number of women on apps like TikTok and YouTube who are lamenting this sort of phenomenon, which to me seems like an example of not all women having a negative attitude toward men but still facing the consequences of recent societal norms.
