So you are out looking for a life partner and for this hypothetical you have two options. You have to pick one:

  • Person A is whom you could describe as your best friend. You get along super well; complete each other; and have amazing chemistry. It seems like you are meant for each other. However don't you find them physically attractive. You are not repelled by them; you don't find them hot but you don't find them ugly either. They are meh. (Also it is quite possible you are attracted to them otherwise, just not physically)
  • Person B is the most physically attractive person you can think of. But you have absolutely nothing in common. They have no interest in your hobbies, favourite, movies, etc. However you are compatible; they are not opposed to your fundamental values. You just have zero common interests

Here are some caveats: - Whomever you don't choose is out of the picture. They are not available as a best friend or fuck buddy if you say no - Borh of them meet your standards in other areas be it education, income, domestic skills, skills with kids, n-count, skill in bed, whatever. They are also equal in these areas. But while they meet those standards; they don't exceed them or perform at an ideal level in them

I pick person A. Can't imagine marrying someone whom I have nothing in common with. And for me personally physical attraction plays a really small role. Besides I am looking for a partner; not a sex object

ETA: Interesting how much disagreement there is with each person thinking their choice is the obvious choice
