Why do you need height inserts at 5’8 ? At that height, most shoes will give you about an inch putting you at 5’9 which is not a bad height at all. Heck, even 5’8 isn’t a bad height.

I would say work on that first. People will feel about you the way you feel about yourself. If you think being at that height makes you less, it projects that energy outwards and people pick up on it, not just women.

I’m 5’7, I also used to wear lifts, and they did make me feel better at first, but in the end I became sort of distorted and just overall more insecure, besides I started thinking that people could tell. I eventually ditched them and just focused on building muscle mass and improving my style. I suggest you do the same. I do the same thing just not 4 inches. Mine boost me about 2.75-3 inches. I only wear them when I go out to bars/clubs or concerts. Women wear makeup and push-up bras and even wear heels to go out. The heels itself makes them taller so you should be able to wear those to supplement that. It should be perfectly fine for shorter guys to wear lifts on special occasions especially if women are initially more receptive to you that way whereas before you were overlooked. It’s not a big deal just try to only do it for very special occasions. Nobody wants to be the short guy in a bar where everyone just towers over you. It’s also incredibly helpful to go to concerts with them so you can see better.

2)Add get to your hair for the other 2 inches..

Listen man. Get a pair of crutches, put a bandage in one of your feet and say you had an accident (nothing too dramatic, maybe a sprain with your garage door or walking downstairs). You go to the wedding using the crutches and no one will bat an eye about your height.
