One of the most challenging aspects of navigating online dating as a man is the sheer heterogeneity in courtship preferences women have.

One woman may prefer to message back and forth and make small talk for a week or two in order to build comfort before agreeing to a date.

Another woman would fucking hate that and get bored after 3-5 messages and dip.

For first dates, one woman may prefer fancy, “high investment” dates like nice dinners or cooking classes. And asking her out to coffee or ice cream may turn her off as low effort.

Another woman might take an invite to drinks as a sign the guy just wants to get her drunk for sex.

One woman might truly want to go 50/50 on dates when she likes a man because she doesn’t want to feel like she owes him something.

Another woman will prefer the man plan and pay for the first couple dates.

One woman may prefer more chivalrous behavior, like opening the door for her, pulling her chair out, and walking on the outside of the sidewalk.

Another woman might take offense to that as if you’re belittling her.

It’s a minefield out there, gents. You never know what you’re gonna get, and every sequential step along the way is a step where you could fail because you just don’t know what she wants. And god forbid you ask what her preferences are because you should just know, ideally. Otherwise it’s unsexy to ask.

It’s like how some women secretly hope you’ll buy them flowers and don’t want to express they want flowers. Because if she tells you she wants flowers and you get them for her, it wasn’t genuine. You just need to know. Oh and speaking of flowers, one woman may LOVE flowers on a first date and another would be repulsed by the grand (to her) gesture.

There is nothing that convince me that modern day feminists aren't just salty and bitter as a result of negative personal experiences with men. I don't think any remotely intelligent person can be deluded enough to believe that women are oppressed in western culture. There is REAL oppression of women occurring in other parts of the world, and the bickering of these privileged feminists trivializes that.

"Yeah bro, I totally understand, it sucks. Men and women will disrespect you for things that are outside of your control and aren't related to your character as an individual or personality. It's also true, women will prefer men who are taller and attractive. The best thing you can do is focus on yourself and keep trying to put yourself out there and try to find something you're passionate about."

Acknowledge, reinforces, doesn't gaslight, and gives some form of direction. It's funny how the people who talk the most about having 'empathy' are the people who have the least amount of it.

Why do the guys over like age 40 here or way out of their way to boast about how awful and inconsiderate they are as husbands or sex partners?

For example:

Different kinds of polyamory/ open relationships/ side partners/ cheating

openly insulting or bullying their wives/ long term girlfriends to “humble” her or to get her to lose weight or to improve her appearance or to cook more

if they are single they have a great disdain and hatred for the women they sleep with or date

massive condescending attitude towards their female peers

Whether they like to admit it or not going through a lot of dick negatively affects women and deteriorates them significantly. There’s just something missing when a woman has dated a lot. Nothing is special. She becomes even more selfish and calculating. Men are also negatively affected but nowhere to the same degree. She is still capable of pair bonding but the bonds are much weaker and she will give up on you at the first sign of an obstacle. It’s a common belief and saying that women love attention, even from men they don’t necessarily desire romantically.

I don’t understand this. When women I’m not interested in give me attention, I don’t want it at all.

The only attention I want is from women I want. Yet it seems some women are content to hang out and talk with guys they have no romantic interest in. They’ll text the guy when they’re bored, etc. Really odd to me.

I wonder how much of attraction is shaped by inherent preference vs. what people in one's environment tell them they're "supposed" to like. When I hang out with my female friends, I'll occasionally hear a conversation like this:

Girl 1: Hey, John is kinda cute. Maybe I'll try to talk to him.

Girls 2/3/4: Ew! You can do so much better than that!

Girl 1: Fine...

Now, sometimes Girl 1 will ignore her friends and talk to John anyway, but oftentimes she won't.

If as a woman you have decided to divorce a man despite him being a good father, she will have to deal with the consequenses.

No step-parent. The father, if he's a good father, has top priority over any step-parent and it's the duty of the woman to understand and accept that if she's the one who initiated the divorce, the priority is the well-being of her children. No step-dad, no new "love". None of that. Or at least keep it seperate from your kids and if it collides with what's best for your child, the new "love" has to go.

People need to stop saying divorce ruins children. It doesn't. Stupid parents ruin their kids, not the divorce itself. I've seen many children of divorce turn out very well. It all depends how the parents go about it.

Easy dinner tonight: Sheet pan Bibimbap

A young father who was driven to attempt suicide after fantasist Eleanor Williams falsely accused him of rape says he is 'destroyed' by the fact that there are 'still believers on her side' despite her being thrown in jail.

Jordan Trengove spent 73 days in prison in a sex offenders wing after Williams, then 19, claimed he drugged and raped her after they met in a nightclub in March 2019. She further alleged he came to her flat, threatened her with a knife and attacked her.

Angry locals who believed her lies targeted Mr Trengove, 22, by smashing his window and spray painting the word 'rapist' across his home.
