A major complaint I have about ppd, well really discussing dating in general but especially ppd, is that when I say that women go for bad boys, and a common retort is "Yeah but they're shitty women too".

There's two big, related problems I have with this. First, there's more than one kind of "shitty". The woman ending up with a wifebeater isn't some shrill harpy; he wouldn't put up with that. She's weak, probably trauma bonded, and stuck in a Sunk Cost Fallacy relationship. She's not a bad person. So the implication, that shitty people who deserve each other end up together, just isn't true. I know several women who fit this description, some finally snapped out of it, others are just doomed.

Second, the dirtbag doesn't mind. Ok sure, maybe the woman is "low-value" and weak, but that's exactly what he wanted. To him, she's high value; she probably is at his beck and call, probably does most or all the sex acts he wants or doesn't complain if he gets them elsewhere, probably handles way more than 50% of the chores, especially if there are kids involved.

This is my complaint. Meek women who don't deserve abuse get abused, meek guys who don't deserve to end up alone end up alone, and abusers get rewarded.

I had a dating app in which you can see how many people liked you and you can see that for other people as well, I had around 60-100 (don't quite remember) likes and I'm around average I believe and then there was one obese woman who had around 500 likes. Bear in mind people in my country people can be fat, but they're rarely obese, especially in early twenties. She was okay in face, but face was fat as well. She was 3 at best imo even though I don't like rating people.

First: not all women have guys throwing themselves at. It's usually the super hot women that can pick whatever.

And second: If you have a menu with 1000 dishes you would be totally overwhelmed and hated to have to choose one. If you have a menu with 10 dishes it is much easier to pick something that looks good to you. The term is "overchoice". It exists for a reason.
