Don't want your partner going on trips to other countries with their friends without you? You're insecure and controlling.

Don't want your partner dressing up scantily and going to the club with her friends on a Friday night? You're insecure and controlling.

Don't want your partner posting thirst-traps on Instagram? You're insecure and controlling.

You want your partner to maintain their health and weight? You're controlling.

Seems to me that most reasonable boundaries that men wish to establish in a long-term, exclusive, committed relationship are seen as extension of their own insecurities, and deemed as unjustly limiting their partner's freedoms.
