How do I actually go about meeting more people(women in general)? I just feel like the older I get the more unlikely people are trying to find and create new relationships. The thought of starting a random convo and it actually turning into something real nowadays seems like a foreign concept.

So, is male underperformance really that analogous to female underperformance pre-1990s, with similar solutions?
Women were actively being discouraged just for being a woman, regardless of their individual traits. Men aren't being penalized for being men per se. Women are doing better because in aggregate they lead more orderly, focused and diligent lives. They perform better in an academic setting that mirrors the work setting of the modern world. Men who behave that way also do well.
So maybe female underperformance was a much easier fix; maybe male underperformance is more structural, and has to do with typical men simply being more likely to have traits that are not useful, and often counterproductive, in the modern world.

Even before FDS was a thing I remember There were women online who have argued the concept of “building” with a man from the ground up is overrated. For 2 specific reasons.

If OLD sucks, nobody knows how to meet anyone IRL anymore, I propose: we just need more community spaces. Places where people can go, chill, do some activities if they want to and meet. Like a Pokémon center. It should be government sponsored. Not like a bar, cafe or club. Just a big building where you can chill and hangout without being forced to spend money in it. Tables, sofas, maybe some vending machines. Public spaces that are not money oriented. With events held for different hobbies. That's why a lot of people met in schools. You need the school atmosphere but put it into adulthood.

Example: there is a 6 floor artist house I've been before here in germany. Sadly it's further away from me, otherwise I would absolutely be there more often. They have painting studios, yoga, party areas, a restaurant and so on. It works by selling merch of the artists that work there and by offering memberships. It's running for decades already and is very popular in that city. You can just go there look at the art, eat, chill or partake in the activity.

The reason male hormonal birth control doesn't exist has nothing to do with the expectation that women take 100% of reproductive responsibility (or some other "systemic" bullshit excuse) and everything to do with the fact that male hormonal birth control is practically impossible.

Because men are fertile 24/7, and the only hormone controlling spermatogenesis is testosterone, the only way to achieve azoospermia hormonally is a reduction of testosterone to prepubescent levels.

(Technically Follicle Stimulating Hormone, FSH, plays a role in spermatogenesis as well, but it only matters during puberty and testicular development. Suppressing FSH with a counteracting hormone like Inhibin, and an adult male's testes will still produce sperm.)

Contrast that with a woman's natural fertility cycle, which is a complicated timing of 4 different hormones and their proportion to one another that control egg release and implantation. So there were several clear solutions that were immediately apparent as soon as the medical community discovered how women's hormone cycles affect fertility.

I sometimes wonder if the real way women are getting their perceptions "skewed" by social media isn't in what they think is average in terms of looks but their own relative status in regards to famous people. I think a lot of stuff from onlyfans, to lets players, to instagram hinges on cultivating parasocial relationships where they trick people's brains into thinking they have a connection with the people they follow.

For women, logically they know they're a stranger to all of the influencers, but when they spend all day listening to their updates and interacting with people online who revolve around those accounts they start subconsciously thinking of themselves as part of the "clique" with all those famous people even though they fall well short of the status and attractiveness for it. To the point where they feel like dating a less than exceptional man would embarrass them in front of their "friends" and can't feel attracted to someone with noticeable flaws.
