There is a popular claim around that it seems women initialize more divorces because they fill the paperwork.

However, lesbian marriages prove that women are more likely to divorce overall, far more than gay marriages between males (which also means that homophobia itself is not the main cause):

The lesbian divorce rate is much higher than the divorce rate between men: in the same period on average 100 women and 45 men divorced per year (i.e., Lesbian divorce rate = 14%, Gay Male divorce rate = 7%) - source

If bad men were the cause of most divorces, then lesbian couples should do better, but they do worse even on domestic violence.

However, the 2010 National Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Violence Survey found that 44% of lesbian women, 61% of bisexual women, 26% of gay men, and 37% of bisexual men experience domestic violence by an intimate partner at some point in their lives. source

Women are also more likely to push for marriage and commitment, which is quite ironic and probably causes resentment down the road.

My view is that women are the cause of most divorces, not men, and therefore it is reasonable to make responsible single mothers for rising criminals and promiscuous daughters, for example. They have all the sexual and dating power and they rather fuck evil men that have no loyalty for them, and therefore they deserve no sympathy.
