The audience is there it's just that it has to be compelling. I'm (clearly) not a man but I've noticed that "non toxic" places give off a super neutered vibe. And while I think that works for some people, it doesn't feel natural or offer enough vindication or entertainment value or freedom so they don't grow as well.

At a minimum, you need people that have really looked at all sides and parties to the issue and tried to emphasize with everyone's point of view.

I'm opening a coed sub later this year and plan to be more hands off with it with a mix of male and female mods because I want people with the skill to do as you described with some consistency. They are harder to find than one would think. Goal of team of like 10 and recruited 2 guys already.

The balancing act is finding based people but who care about the other side.

I agree that everyone is going to have their own context and make their own decisions. But a female desire for a man with more resources than her is a universal enough, and potentially disruptive enough, impulse that we can't really put it in the category of personal preference, like whether he has long hair or short. A successful culture will at least need to decide what kind of messaging we should have on this: encourage or discourage.

If we have an otherwise egalitarian society, but women persist in wanting men who are at least as successful as them, much less unsuccessful women insisting on leveraging their sexual advantage to insist on wealthy men, the basic math of it all will make the sexual marketplace highly dysfunctional.

It could be that the gender constructionists are right, but we are just going through the transitional pains. Eventually, male resources will be no more important to male mating success than female resources are to female dating success. That system would work. But so far, the evidence doesn't look good on that score.

Yeah, you are right. It's not so much the criteria as the fact that women tend to be less flexible than men in their standards, and more willing to just walk away.

I'm starting to get to the point where I think the main problem is holding on to the ideal of a balanced or even sexual marketplace where we pair up almost all adults on even terms.

The fact is that because men are less discriminate and have more raw thirst, a 'fair' society where everyone is otherwise treated equally will inevitably feature a sexual marketplace that is tilted towards women. Any attempt to balance the SMP requires rigging society in a way that does more overall harm than good.

So perhaps the way forward is to just accept this and try to create a functional society around it. Without a rigged game, the selectivity of female choice probably means more male sexlessness. More men left out of reproduction altogether. And there will also be a category of men who get sex, but on very uneven terms: they have to wait until much later in life to marry equally old women who have less resources, have had lots of superior sexual partners when they were young, and don't desire their husband as much as the husband would like.

It's hard to perfectly balance every aspect of a society that is roughly balanced overall when the genders are at least somewhat different.

But this will tilt male in other ways. Greater male variability tends to mean that the extreme right tails of the curve will be mostly men. The glass ceiling will never be entirely broken. Men will always occupy a disproportionate amount of the leadership and and most affluent and influential positions in society. If women will have to live with that, why can't men live with the sexual marketplace inherently favoring women?

And it goes no where.

Who they make a real commitment to is what matters. You see it every day

It's really not only female selectivity because women are attracted to an interesting array but you can't really do anything with a guy who isn't trying and isn't serious and also offended that you care he is financially sound.

I'm mostly interested in seeing how things can work out systemically, for the population as a whole. There's no doubt that men are less picky than women sexually, and this translates to being less picky for commitment. Naturally, both genders are pickier for commitment than sex. It is true that the gap between men and women in terms of selectivity will be higher for sex than for commitment, but women are still, on the whole, substantially pickier for both. But it does get complex. In certain demographics things can be pretty different. Everyone gets effectively choosier with more options. And you can get a system that artificially overrides or distorts the underlying biological impulses and balance. I do not think MGTOW or the like is anywhere near that prevalent right now that when you look at the population as a whole it is having a significant effect. But in the future, maybe. But I agree this is all complex stuff. I definitely do not think I have all the answers. But it is important to try to think of this stuff systemically and not just from an individual perspective.

In my race a substantial amount of men are not serious about marriage or their future and it has plagued my community for as long as I've been alive despite coming from a two parent home myself. What people are complaining about today has long been our norm so it's almost like "we watched this happen already"

The outcome led to the women placing incredible emphasis in personal success and education as well as being sexually attractive. There is a lot of contempt when you have to do all of that just for men to show up and say "what do you bring to the table" and regularly diminish your accomplishments while not able to speak of any of his own

So I sound like I'm speaking on an individual level but it's already rocked a whole community. The manosphere is only now getting here. They are even copying attitudes and slang from those guys

The only difference is no one cares what happens to women in my race so we can't afford to be weak. There is nothing you can do about it if men fail to perform so the women work around them. It's why when MGTOW repeats their stuff on and on and keep saying women will be sorry, it's like "not really". Because this race of men already pulled this and all women did was share, date out, hunt unicorns, or stay single. Or try women. On a larger scale with vastly more options, it doesn't translate well.

Society mocked this race relentlessly and they did not respect the men. Mass producing this when people can just look at what happened to us is just not going to end well. Especially because these people lack tenacity. There is more depression, suicide, sensitivity, and entitlement. Because it's a big jump going from being the most important, status wise, in America to loss of role, opportunity from people who haven't really been challenged like that.

Tl;dr ***** America is a microcosm of what is currently happening. All you have to do is look at it to see where it's going. Everything from RP and current gurus is ripped from the men in that culture. Literally down to the slang. It's not pretty.. I'm not guessing on the individual level

I've long studied what has happened in your racial group. I agree there are some similarities to what is happening to the wider culture with respect to gender dynamics, but I also think we should be careful of reading too much into that as well. And even the causation chain within your racial community is highly debated, and at least for me, far from clear.

I think that when you look at cultures of subcultures where things have broken down overall, you do see one thing: men are the more volatile and fragile gender in certain respects. Women are less variable, more conscientious, and less prone to temptation and destructive behavior. Their stronger innate tie to children tends to keep then at least somewhat more rooted when a culture falls into chaos.

So when looking at realistic solutions, it is important to keep this in mind. More than women, men need cultural support so they can realistically achieve positions in a community that are valued, or men fall apart.

No, I agree. I've long concluded there are multiple factors at play here. I was more saying as a result, we ended up with an anti-marriage culture with our own media "being more red pill than the red pill" as a rule (it's always weird to see new red pillers come to this conclusion year after year).

And all within the context of being the type of women that had very negative stereotypes with no one in mainstream society caring. But the women adapted. Its a group I'm proud to be in bc its impressive

And so now pivot to this mainstream issue discussed on PPD and I think it's less important that the cases be identical but rather note the similarities as a launching board.

The women in the mainstream aren't dealing with those stereotypes. They have more privilege and are considered desirable to a world wide audience so at least some of them can humor alternatives.

We are also ushering in a far less conservative culture so much of the shaming women of my culture survived won't be much of a pressure here where casual sex, polyamory/polygamy, less religion, less marriage stands. Great for personal freedoms but now far less incentive to be cooperative especially for bad deals.

So when looking at realistic solutions, it is important to keep this in mind. More than women, men need cultural support so they can realistically achieve positions in a community that are valued, or men fall apart.

I can see how this is true although I've honestly never heard a man make this assertion. I think if I'm being honest I am frustrated that there isn't a male leader or movement focused on this.

The popular movements are very very heavily focused on blaming women. And as the antagonist, it's extremely difficult to choose to be proactive on behalf of men to achieve this cultural support while the manosphere is actively worsening the dynamics. The manosphere isn't all men but we don't need it to be all men for it to be a problem in dating culture.

It's as if they aren't willing to discuss until women renounce feminism and I don't see how that is a reasonable standard. Not all women are feminists and I don't see those women reaping any rewards for it

It was a serious question as a person who did not grow feminist and mainly avoided it. I do like to say Reddit pushed it onto me. But okay, suppose I were looking for an alternative, what would it be?

The demands, including this thing where I (women) must feign submission to a man I'm outperforming or on par with doesn't really make sense to me. I'm finding so many women feel the same way.

Doesn't mean I don't believe in mutual respect or I don't have a natural submissive side but it doesn't make sense to date that way with new men both needing "50/50" and a submissive. Everything women need is too high standards but yet we are to submit?

So I asked for alternatives to feminism and at best I was presented with fake equality and rage.

The economy right now doesn't allow for sole male breadwinners and childbearing has never stopped. I know far more women working full time jobs + everything at home with men who don't participate than I know men taking care of everything yet women are accused of being worthless dead weight.

What positions for men remedy that? Do they really fall apart without women propping them up? Why not adapt?

Sorry. But I do not follow. The last paragraph is about a very small selection of humanity. It won't really have any impact on the sexual marketplace.

As for the SMP, I'm trying to follow your logic and may just have missed something. I'm thinking that I glossed over the point that what women look for in men is more amenable to improvement than what men for look for in women, and that this is the counterbalance to women being more discriminate and willing to walk away?

If that is the point, I'm not really sure how valid it is. It is an open question how much women respond to absolute improvements in males as opposed to rely mostly on ranking men against men. Also, you cannot expect men on average to be more than average, which includes effort level. Like can you expect men, given equal capabilities and opportunities to women, to on average have more success than women to balance out the SMP?

I have no agenda and do not think I am guilty of solipsism. I am a good faith investigator here trying to look at all sides and find the truth, whatever it is and whatever gender it might happen to favor. But I am fallible, so maybe I missed something in your argument.

I’m sure you know what my main gripe is about all this and predictably so.

She brought a child into this world, a black child, a young brother, that was without remorse robbed of the chance to live in a home with two loving black parents.

All, because she felt like she was ‘owed money’, due to the amount of ran through pussy she’d passed around from the last little-over-half-decade.

I would say though, it happens regardless when someone that clever put their claws in someone. PJ’s dad is a college basketball coach, I believe. I’m sure he knows what’s going on. Guys, how much to the blue pill and the red pill does your girlfriend lean?

Personally my gf is “redpill” as fuck but not in the trad way. We’re definitely not conservative in any way, our relationship is very relaxed and we’re essentially best friends who happen to be in love.

That being said she’s probably the most hardcore non-male TRP-type of person I know, if that makes any sense.

For instance, the other day some chick on Instagram DM’d her after seeing a picture of me and explained what a sexist cunt I was some time ago while drunk. My gf’s reaction? “Lmao what do you expect at a club? What a retard”. I was surprised because I know that I can be an ass sometimes.

She also started ripping on feminists at some point and claimed 90% aren’t even feminists just girls who want to be trendy and act as if they’re oppressed.

I could go on forever. Keep in mind I don’t try to feed her these opinions, or even start the conversations for that matter.

Maybe she’s what some of you would call a “pick me” and tries to impress me or something. But I have a feeling girls like her are more common than you think. She speaks about stuff like this with some of her female friends, but when they’re in a large group with chicks she doesn’t know very well, she tends to tone it down and acts like your typical progressive. Behind closed doors with some of her other friends they start spouting stuff you wouldn’t think girls believe if all the interaction you had with girls was from Instagram/Twitter/Reddit.

Of course, some girls are even more clever and will talk like this around men and be an entirely different way around women.

Yes, it is true that all that freedom and mobility does unfortunately run headfirst into the inconvenient wall of female autonomy.

The freedom of autonomy is a good thing but the way its used can be bad, the issues that are being caused by modern women's insanity can't just be ignored because "muh autonomy!"

When people do shitty things like lie and cheat we don't get mad at the victim and tell them that their problem isn't with the lies or cheating but with autonomy. That's preposterous.

Define consistent?

When i was recently dating, i had sex about once a week. (Age 22-24)

Before that when i was single i had sex about once every 3 or 4 days, i had two FWBs who would either hit me up or not. (21-22)

Before that, my college ex and i had sex about 3x or 4x a week, as she was HL (age 21. Funny that was a bit more than i like but i did it for her)

Before that, i did the casual thing, and probably succeeded about 1x a month hooking up with a new girl, but overall had sex around 2 or 3x a month with people new or old (age 19-20).

Since i broke up with my ex i have not had sex (2wks).

I did. I was always one of the stereotypically masculine men, cool kids, did sports, zero problems with women my entire life.

My dislike for TRP isn't super ideological. I just think TRP men are fucking losers. No matter how hard they try to remold themselves into what they think an alpha is it's always going to come across as manufactured and fake. I wouldn't have liked these men in high school and I don't like them now.

To be honest with you, I've never heard that beer, cider and wine cause cardiovascular or immune disorders. I have heard that they're carcinogenic, but this goes into the second part of my theory. If you're going to try to avoid any food or drink that doesn't do some kind of harm to you, you're going to starve to death.

Take potatoes for instance. You know what I love to do? I love to take two organic Yukon potatoes, boil them in purified water, chop up an organic onion, put some grass fed butter, sea salt and organic pepper into a bowl. Saute the organic onions and when the potatoes are done boiling and are nice and soft, add everything to the bowl, mash it together and make delicious organic mashed potatoes. Delicious and nutritious right?!

Except according to the science, those potatoes are straight up giving me diabetes. The organic sugarless cherry jam I spread on my organic bread every morning? It's raising my insulin levels too. There was also a study that was done by the Surgeon General of the United States back in the 1960's. It said that if you smoke tobacco out of a pipe, if you make sure to not smoke a pipe while you have cold sores, if you make sure not to drink alcohol while you smoke your pipe, if you make sure to floss and brush after smoking your pipe, you will live longer than someone who does not smoke a pipe. What another study found was that if you start smoking a pipe, you can't stop. People who start smoking and then quit lower their life expectancy.

I recommend incls find a good therapist, not because I think this will "fix their personalities," but because out of all the pills, the blackpill requires the most distance and emotional maturity to process. There's a reason why, no matter how bad the child's initial conditions, his parents does not tell him he is ugly and will struggle and possibly fail at finding a meaningful relationship. Have you ever heard a 5'1" near-deformed man describe such a conversation?

I have found myself getting an emotional reaction when I see a Chad/Stacy couple on the street because I understand that the SMP is a meat grinder of which they are the beneficiaries, and morally I wish outcomes we're not so unequal. By practicing mindfulness and having a therapist I can have a healthier relationship with lookism. Personally I have been looksmaxing for several years now (lifting, skincare, and a recent hardmaxx) and have gotten better dating results, and without taking care of my mental health I think I would have ended up bitter and resentful of the women who expressed interest in my new looksmaxed self.

"Incels" like to crash our server all the time, some of them like to stick around. I will not deny that unattractive men exist but a substantial number of men claiming "incel" are not unattractive by any metric. A few of the most memey tragic "incels" are objectively Chad. This thing has just become an internet culture where guys feel validated with gallows humor and hating on women mixed with some absolute loons. And depending which hive they are in, things get extremely dark.

Their warped barometer to prove attractiveness is no different than delusional manospherians and their contradictory demands to prove attractiveness. Like the moronic standard that a woman sleep with you on the first or second date or else she isn't attractive. Meanwhile women are often very attracted and not trying to fuck things up by seeming easy. People expect women to be lock and step in personality and risk assessment and values because they are just dumb.

For the actual incels who aren't stupid impractical, yes some self development work and therapy can make a difference. But I'm willing to acknowledge not all therapists has the knowledge base and relatability to help someone in that position.

And that makes things harder especially for men who are already very reluctant to go, some will just never go back if it's a shit experience. Which sucks because sometimes it takes time to find the right therapist for you.

I just don't think it follows that if a guy is not getting laid at a given moment, it's because of mental issues.

I actually do kind of think this, but I think the women and blue pillers here specifically choose the verbiage "mental issues" because of how defective it makes things sound.

If "mental issues" includes things like being shy/a bit socially awkward, or introverted and not very confident with women, or not flirtatiously witty in conversation, then yea it's "mental issues" that hold lots of guys back.

I think most normal people would not call those things "mental issues" though lmao they're just personality dispositions that have always been unattractive to women to a certain extent.

In the past I think there were ways for men to gain extra leverage against those unattractive character aspects, and also there was less of a brutally competitive dating market in general, so those things didn't hold as many guys back.

Not really. When you think about why people used to date it was to find a partner because there was intense pressure to marry and do it while young. Also you couldn’t get sex regularly without getting married (I’ve heard boomer and older men say point blank this is why they got married) and there was a high risk of getting knocked up before BC which was seen as shameful.

Today those mores are all but in the toilet and for a lot of people there just aren’t many compelling reasons for putting effort into doing the traditional two by two March into adulthood. Each generation cares less and less about traditional dating and when the people you’re meeting are largely a collection of narcissists, addicts, attention whores, mentally ill and perpetual adolescents, I can see why someone wouldn’t want to bother.

True that, I was moved by that, too.

There've been a number of various noble women lately: Raya (from the movie of the same title) and Mockingbird from Agents of Shield. Mockingbird flew under a lot of people's radar. She caught far too much hell for her "feminist agenda" shirt from people who didn't see her in action. Sharon Carter had one shot to show what kind of woman she was in Winter Soldier when there was a nerd who refused to give information to HYDRA. It appears the apple of nobility not only didn't fall too far from the tree, it landed on the base of the trunk.

I'm forgetting a number of really noble women as of late but I digress: we need more women like this up front and center in storytelling. Like on the silver screen. Just keep raining them down like we rain down masculine heroes as role models for men. And give us male heroes like Steve Rogers who aren't threatened by them.

It's not a mess, I wasn't being snarky when I said your dating life is colorful.

Your posts and comments are always so earnest and you come across as a cheerful open minded person. That's so refreshing on this sub.

I'm going to give you some unsolicited advice, feel super free to 100% ignore. Make sure you stand up for yourself and what you want from a relationship. Make "pivots" and adapt to the dating game, but have a solid sense of who you are and what your dealbreakers are, and never back down on those. Don't seek advice from most folks here (I recognize the irony lol). Instead speak to those you know in your life who have healthy relationships, especially those close to you in age and are familiar with the online dating game, and get their advice on it.

If you're looking for a monogamous committed relationship, press the guys on this instead of dating on their terms hoping that they will eventually give you what you want. Trust me, the guys will sniff this out and it'll make you look desperate, which will actually put them off rather than make them attracted to you.

Psychology professor a few years ago wrote an article explaining why social scientists shouldn't be involved in a "March for Science" rally. What followed was an absolutely demonic buttfucking.

For one, there is very little political and ideological diversity in the social sciences. It is true that many academic fields lean left, but this especially the case within the social sciences. Check out Heterodox Academy for details. In many social science departments it is easier to find a Marxist than a Republican. In fact, it is quite common for social sciences departments to have no Republicans at all.

Many have criticized social science research for being ideologically biased and, frankly, many of these criticisms are fair. For one, social scientists have spent decades using sloppy empirical methods, or no methods at all, to make the case that conservatives uniquely possess a number of undesirable personal characteristics (e.g., prejudice and intolerance). However, as I discussed in an article for Scientific American, recent studies reveal methodological flaws of past research and show that liberals are no more tolerant or nondiscriminatory than conservatives.

Moreover, a number of the psychological concepts social scientists and activists have used to support social justice-oriented interventions and policies have not stood up well to empirical scrutiny. Take, for instance, the concept of stereotype threat. Psychologists proposed that female math performance is undermined by the existence and situational awareness of the stereotype that women are bad at math. However, the stereotype threat explanation of women’s math performance has failed multiple replication attempts. Meta-analyses have offered no support for the idea. And the original supporting research has been widely criticized as having many methodological and statistical problems. Still, many social scientists, activists, and college administrators continue to teach and champion the idea.

Unfortunately, the stereotype threat example is not an anomaly. The concept of unconscious or implicit biases as measured by the implicit association test (IAT) has also received considerable criticism. Many social scientists, activists, college administrators, and science journalists, have made empirically unsupported or exaggerated claims about the predictive power of the test while neglecting to mention or consider its many problems and limitations. More generally, the term unconscious bias is carelessly and unscientifically employed by many, including social scientists who should know better, to explain outcomes they find personally undesirable.

Consider, for example, the “research as rape model” presented in sociological textbooks such as An Introduction to Sociology: Feminist Perspectives. The model proposes that conducting scientific research using human research participants is a form of research rape. Wait for it. The scientist is violating the research participant, taking something (data), and giving nothing in return. This is, of course, argued to be the result of an oppressive, patriarchal, and colonialist approach to science.

The risk of going viral isn't high but the risk of getting filmed and having people post it somewhere online or in their group chats is high.

Men who can cold approach and "not be creepy" are not creepy because they spent hundreds of approaches being creepy to learn how not to be creepy.

"Not be creepy" is completely subjective though. Anything a man does will have women finding him creepy depending on her definition and how attracted she is to him. Yes, being attractive significantly lowers the risk of a woman thinking you're creepy if you approach in the exact same way.

The States is much more strict on checking ID then Canada is.

I learned that while staying in a executive suite once dressed in my basic hippy clothing. I got a room service dinner with a glass of wine and was ID'd. I thought at the moment they asked for my ID because they didn't believe I belonged in the suite. Nope, they ID'd everyone.

Last time in Canada I was 45 or so, we ID (used to) only when someone looks like they could be underage. I was at a lineup at the LC and the clerk said "wow you're older then my dad", I said " yep, and just so you know I really want to hug you right now, thank you".

I'm not going to say everyone clapped that was waiting in line, but everyone within earshot was smiling about it. The poor clerk probably had to ID every woman behind me, or maybe he had made the same mistake with a woman before me.

Aye. But also men need to stop fucking around, too. If society had punished male thirst the way they did female hypergamy we wouldn't be in this mess right now. Male thirst fuels female hypergamy and vice versa. You pinch one off and the whole cycle of degeneracy gives way to social order.

Well, that's what courts are for.

They already have strict rules surrounding the use of DNA, as in for investigative procedures.

You just don't like this concept because it threatens to take 100% autonomy and control over female reproductive choice.

In fact, a woman should have to sign a consent form with the father of the child. If he doesn't want the child, and she does, she can have it but he can opt out of parenting AND providing for the child. Her choice, her sole responsibility.

The laws that exist where "pregnancy = his responsibility" are antiquated. There are morning-after pills, chemical abortions, surgical abortions...

A woman is no longer forced to take a fertilization to term.

What would be best if men could take a drug to make their sperm... altered. Without the chemical "enabler", his sperm results in the birth of a frog. Or maybe a worm. So, until he hands over his enabler syrum, she can pop out as many frogs as she wants.

Face it. The world would be a better place with TWO KNOWING AND CONSENTING adults to bring life into the world. The only people who refuse to accept this want to continue to make men accountable for women's choices.

I think many, if not the majority of guys, wouldn’t see being intoxicated and having sex with a girl in the same light as women do.

For the sake of the argument, let’s assume that most men don’t see intoxication the same way women do when it comes to consent. This leads us to 2 alternatives:

Men and women have genetical differences that explain why men don’t see it as rape
Men and women are raised differently due to social norms, so women see themselves as victims of abuse whereas men don’t see it as a big deal.

Either way, the idea that men see things differently should serve as an explanation, not an excuse, for why so many women feel raped after having sex drunk, whereas men don’t. I don’t buy the Reddit narrative that “men feel raped too they just don’t talk about it”.

Oh, and as a dude I can confirm what the other guy said. I have technically been raped by my girlfriend many, many times after passing out drunk. Yet I don’t see it that way. I guess it has to do with the boundaries you set and she knows I’m cool with that, but still.

why do vaccine skeptics care about death from vaccinations but not death from covid 19?

Because contracting COVID is not a guarantee while the risk from the vaccine is. I think some people would rather take their chances, especially considering that COVID isn't some deadly virus like the plague. Seems to only be affecting certain demographics who already experience health risks.

Like.... did you forgot vaccine skeptics frequently tout how 97.6% survival rate is "good" for them and not worthy of wearing masks, take vaccines or agree to lockdowns.

They probably mean "good enough" not to treat it like the plague, but I personally think that people should be wearing masks and limiting contact with people regardless of vax status, especially considering that people who get vaccinated can still spread and catch COVID too. I believe we just had our first reported "fully-vaxxed" COVID death last week. I don't think the vaccines are necessary unless someone is at risk for disease already.

Get the vax 1 in 15,800 (No evidence to prove those death were caused by the vaccine, they merely occurred in the 200 days following a vaccination and were listed as suspicious of possible effects)

Don't get the vax: at least a 50% chance of eventually getting the virus unless you are a hermit. 50% of 2%(infected chance of death and incep) = 1 in 100

Now you are going to tell me that you chances are better than 2% if you are young and healthy, well the same applies to the vax. The vast majority of serious complications where among the very old and comorbid. (gee who would have guessed that old ailing people with serious conditions would possibly die of such things as heart attacks and embolisms in the 200 days following getting injected. Remember the VAERS numbers say nothing about causality, merely that the person had a problem in a certain time frame after getting the vaccine. In a group of 190 million people over a period of 200 days there are generally close to that amount of people dying of such causes even without the vaccine.

Yes, the VAERS numbers say nothing about causality. However, they've also set restrictions on reporting because too many people were reporting side effects that they believed or didn't want to believe could have been related to the vax, so some stipulations were "if they don't die immediately after the vaccine, or within the 15 minutes post-vaccination monitoring period, they're unrelated to the vaccine." Sounded a little suspicious to me that they're trying to restrict the possibility of being vaccine-related because even a few days after in an otherwise healthy individual doesn't seem like mere coincidence.

As an anecdotal example, there was a teenager who died a week after she got hers, as well as the nurse who passed out on live TV.

Even if the vaccine is marginally better than just getting COVID, a lot of people are skeptical about the vaccine for the reasons above, in addition to the government going to such lengths that they have to encourage people to take it that include offering lame handouts like free uber rides and McDonald's, to restricting or altering information related to the vaccine.

If the virus was actually that serious and the vaccine was that safe, people wouldn't be hesitating to get it.

The VAERS numbers that you linked to count death up to 200 days after getting vaccinated. It's in the methodology listed in their webpage. Anyone that suffering from:

Guillain-Barre
Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis
Transverse Myelitis Encephalitis
Convulsions/Seizures
Stroke
Narcolepsy, Cataplexy
Anaphylaxis Acute Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack)
Myocarditis/Pericarditis
Autoimmune Disease
Other Acute Demyelinating Diseases Pregnancy and birth outcomes (Miscarriages)
Thrombocytopenia
Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation
Arthritis and Arthralgia/Joint Pain Kawasaki Disease
Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome

That did not have a direct proven cause was automatically listed in VAERS as a possibly linked to the vaccine.

So to get any data that is even semi useful out of that you need to compare the rates of the vaccinated to an equal number of unvaccinated people of the same age preponderance and see how much higher if any it is over the base line.

Remember that 190 million people have been vaccinated. The natural amount of unvaccinated people dying from the listed causes without a direct proven detonating factor is probably pretty similar and until you can compare the two you have nothing.
