The replies I got to this comment was an enlightening experience on how women are treated here.

I've mentioned this exact story before where I mentioned - or it was clear from context - that I'm not a woman, and never received the kind of criticism/pushback I got this time.

Not that it's wrong to be critical of internet strangers' anecdotes, but I find it odd that it took me being assumed to be a woman for anyone to be critical of this one.

Update:

So my SB just left. Another wild ride lol. She comes to my apartment which is gated. I come out to meet her and my landlord sees me bring her up. Right afterwards she messages me telling me that the taxi dropped her off wrong and that they went through the wrong gate. Anyways, when I came down to meet her, I find out immediately that she doesnt speak a word of english and she had been using a translator the whole time.

We head up to my room. I try to talk to her again and we cant understand each other at all. So we both pull out google translate and start communicating that way. That is how it went the rest of the day. After a little bit of small talk I type in "Lets head to my room now, I really want you". She nods her head and we go. The sex was decent. It was very awkward at times because we couldnt understand each other. She had a nice petite body. She must weigh 1/3 of me.

When we got back to the room I paid her back way more than what the difference was just because I felt so embarrassed.

It's interesting having thoughts and opinions on things you haven't personally experienced yourself before.

Understandably, I presumed my friends (knowing I was a virgin with no real relationship experience) wouldn't be interested in whatever I had to say on sex and relationships but I was proven quite the contrary.

I somewhat feel bad for the securely attached guys who were open and vulnerable with their GFs and wives. I've seen too many situations where the consequences weren't immediate, but set a new precedent in the relationship where the woman just couldn't respect him the same way. So many cheating senarios, shit test ammunition, and general distaste with the relationship after men open up from that.

It's interesting because the guy is just being what PPD BPs would determine as a emotionally healthy and mature person to open up. But they aren't being considerate of the instinctual aspects of how many women react to that.

The amount of women who have told me just how little they feel attracted after witnessing their man's vulnerability is depressing. Because you can tell they wish they didn't feel that way, but once you activate that "ick" it festers into more and more problems. From the guys perspective they might not even recognize that opening up caused it, they just see seemingly random problems afterwards and fail to make that connection. They lost their frame and it's eats relationships alive.

I don't blame the men for wanting to believe that they can open up, but man I could never in good faith tell a guy to ever be emotionally dependent on a woman. It only compounds whatever issue you're going through most times, that emotional release is rarely worth the risk.

It invalidates the whole point of the sub when someone can block everyone that has a differing opinion and thus making them unable to interact with their post/comment.It turns the sub from a debate sub to a complete circlejerk.

Do we need to give people better outlets to deal with their issues with the opposite gender? From the guy perspective, it seems like we've vilified guys doing this in their own little corner of the world or internet, because that's misogyny, or it 'normalizes' certain thinking, that it's difficult to have an old-fashioned thing where men can just make themselves feel a little better together by doing that, and then go back out into the world with less of a chip on their shoulder.

Especially since everything needs to be inclusive now - For example, guys used to use D&D or other TTRPGs to vent a bit, because it was usually all dudes at the table. I remember an old article where they had Elijah Wood, fresh off of starring in Lord of the Rings, show up for a D&D session with the interviewer, and the interviewer describes how quickly things degenerated into "Let's slit the bitch's throat" fantasy. And again, I feel like we look at that quickly nowadays and see a spawning pool for evil misogyny, when really it's more therapy for guys to work out their frustrations. Agree/disagree?

A Russian blogger posted her story about going through IVF and learning that the fetus had Down syndrome. She terminated, as she didn't want to give birth to a kid that most likely would have life-long issues.

To no one's surprise she got a massive backslash from religious people. What was a bit surprising is that one publicly known mother of a kid with the syndrome got deeply offended and took it as propaganda of getting rid of special kids.

Considering that the woman already has 2 kids and that inclusivity in Russia is on a very low level and it's extremely hard for people with any disabilities to get education, job and provide for themselves, it seems to be the best choice in this situation imv.

Workmate had goodbye party other night. They coaxed me into drinking in public for the first time in like 3 years.
I'm ADHD and work hard to keep control in public at the best of times. My inclination is to find everything and everyone insufficiently stimulating, and therefore always try to amp the stimulation level of any environment to my own personal settings. I like it at 11.

Doesn't tend to go well.
Been better at keeping a lid on that now that I am older.

But was not used to booze. Ended up drunk and just out of control blathering to anyone who would listen.

I hate that next day feeling of not knowing just how much damage has been done. I think it was a minor disaster, at worst. But it's scary knowing one can be totally out of control, in pure extroverted autism mode.

As someone that was raised in a traditional household and now has those dynamics more or less in my own relationship, I can’t believe a lot of the posters think they have a “trad” relationship when they’re living with a boyfriend for 3yrs and are both working all the while he drags his feet on marriage until the 5th year mark.

I blocked my ex a few days ago. Talking to her over the phone often made me feel fucked up. Down on myself but I could never clearly define why. We had a blowout and I can't forgive or ever forget the things she said. I always enjoyed our hangouts but I'm 6'2 220 and on roids and I have the sneaking suspicious I was a toxic presence in person and she was just getting me back when my physicality was irrelevant. She's calling me on repeat but again, blocked. She may be freaking out, I don't know. She may just want to rope me back in. One of my close girl friends has oneitis so badly it's not funny, all she talks about when we hang out is her boyfriend, honestly frustrating when you're trying to have a real conversation and all she's doing is telling way too much detail about things I don't want to hear. I missed my coding class tonight. I had a chance to put in an extra 6 hours at work and, well, $90 is $90. I can watch it later on YouTube I guess, if I have time ... although I'm starting a new weekend gig this week and also have a cleaning job lined up for Saturday.

I cleaned for 9-1/2 hours today then spent two hours shoveling out the barn. Whew. Tomorrow I have to work all morning, get a physical for my new job, put up two real estate signs, and attend a training session for the new job (although my new boss hasn't told me where I need to be or what time I need to be there) then spend another 2 hours shoveling out the barn. Yeah I probably don't have the time to learning coding right now, lol. Well, I'm trying.

I arrived in Cancun last night. It was pretty hectic. I feel like I was very nearly denied entry. When I got to immigration the lady, who could only speak a few words of english, asked for my passport and return ticket. I didnt have a ticket out of mexico yet. Im planning on going to barcelona or london after here but didnt buy a ticket yet because of covid concerns.

She also asks me how many days im staying in the country, of which I didnt know off the top of my head (it was 103). I tell her this and she keeps repeating herself, and getting angrier till the point she brings out a translator app and I speak into it asking for someone who speak english. Her boss comes by and starts interrogating me agressively with a million questions in broken english. Asking me how much money im bringing in, where im going and why etc. I show him my reservations for everywhere. He asks me why I want to go to Mexico City (my next stop). I say "I want to experience the food, culture and uh... see Frida Kahlo's house". He looks at me like im retarded and laughs dismissively. Finally he tells the lady to stamp me in. She just rudely points me away and says "Go!". Loool.

From the airport I take a bus to downtown cancun and get a taxi. The guy doesnt speak any english at all. Luckily I have about a spanish 1ish level of speaking. I get to my place pretty late, its gated and theres a security guard and he doesnt speak a word of english either.

I have to lug like 100 pounds of luggage up two flights of a narrow winding staircase. Finally I get to my room. Im really thirsty at this point, but theres no bottles of water around nor a vending machine, and you cant drink the tap water, and I dont wanna venture out close to midnight so I just had to bear with it the whole night lol.

Anyways, after all that im glad im here. Im seeing my sugar baby tonight. Shes a fresh thin 18 year old still in braces. I just mostly planned to smash smash smash the whole time im here. I got my tinder bumble and hinge premium pulled up too, the matches are starting to trickle in.

I was thinking about the "why dont guys just go to foriegn countries for women" post that happened a couple days ago, and so far with my experience I am kind of in agreement it would be a lot for a spergcel to handle, and im only in an extremely touristy city.
