I'd say the most annoying argument in this sub is when American guys claim "Well, men would stop chasing hookups if women stop having them", except when I show evidence that most American women don't find hookups appealing, I'm ignored.

There is 0 proof that the average woman is fucking dozens of dudes. Most women in the US try it out (typically drunk), realize hookups suck, and don't try it again. For anyone using anecdotes, you think most women are "riding the cock carousel" because you specifically hang out with those type of women.

I wonder why people on this sub do not seem to realize that the only reason men are good obedient civilians, working to build road, houses, grow food, run electric and water grids, ect... is because of sexual, romantic and familial opportunities and security society offers.

And that if women do "go their own way", they're basically leeches to that society, even if they work and pay taxes. Because they benefit from men's existence without being good deals to men. While men do need to be good deal to women to benefit from their existence.

Women can even have kids without ever dealing with men.

When society wasn't ruling every piece of land, men had the choice to nope the fuck out if society was a raw deal to them, go raid another country to get women, or go rogue. Nowadays society makes it extremely hard for men to live off the grid or to go rogue.

Same goes for powerful wealthy men, that they offer raw deals to people and remain healthy and alive baffles me. People like Jeff Bezos should absolutely have gotten murdered quickly. Being at the top should never lead to a healthy long live secure live. Male lions that are at the top live short stressful wealthy lives...

I still have to wonder how the living fuck did live rounds get into a gun used in a movie. There is no logical reason that doesn't include extreme idiocy or malice. Even in this fine USofA in the free states, do you just magically get ammunition. It doesn't appear magically in a box of prop ammo. Someone had to screw up in a colossal fashion, like even flat earthers think they are dumb, or did it on purpose.

Edit: Unless for ease of use they had live ammo being used for filming effects, but even then it would be extreme idiocy and horrible horrible levels of gun safety to make that mistake. I mean for example I have some training ammo. You check, you check again, and then you check a third time and thats in situations where you never point the gun at someone else, for this it should be checked a 4th and 5th time.

I am often amazed at the lack of objectivity people have in the RP/manoshphere/Dating/Marriage communities.

People are so eager to take sides. And so eager to close off their mind to new information. So eager to agree with everything a person said because they said some things you agreed with once or twice before. So eager to congregate in spaces that echo back only what they believe to be true. So eager to actively avoid any learning about the other side lest they risk having their minds changed.

And this is a behavior I have never understood. Even if I adamantly disagree with a person, I will hear them out. Even if I adamantly dislike a person, I will give them credit for the things they got right. Even if really like a person, I will call them out for being wrong.

But I rarely see this behavior in these communities. From men or women. Everyone is so eager to be ignorant. And that's a damn shame.

This study concludes that women percive time with the better looking guy as longer so they feel like he has invested more so she ends up trusting him more which equates to her feeling more safe in having sex with him.

Moreover for the men they feel like time is shorter so they feel like they havnt invested that much into a girl they find attractive , which causes them to inadvertently spend extra time as they percive that they havnt spent enough with this girl to build a bond causing them to "simp".

It's funny when I watch old movies or shows I haven't seen in a long time, and they contain interactions that represent something that was completely normal and understood about how men feel about women, how men and women interact and why, and all the other truth about cats and dogs stuff, but then to think about the world we currently live in, and how we seem to have lost those basic understandings from maybe even just 10 years ago. I am not the most social person, but I was at a function today. I brought with me 2 companions. 1 I am okay with. We ask each other for help and are polite with one another. The other one I don’t think he likes me too much. Something they were doing was making plans to go out and drink and eat. It’s totally fine to not be invited, but I think he spoke about it in such a way so I would know I am not invited. Weird. People are boring and their lack of investment of time, energy, and enthusiasm with dates is why so many fail to connect.

Having "pre-pre" dates, walking, eating, and drinking isn't interesting. Nor is it a bonding experience. There is no connection when there is zero investment or vulnerability of anykind.

No one wants to do anything physical or active. And I don't mean like a lame impoverished "walking" date. I mean doing a ninja course, singing karaoke, indoor skydiving, taking a cooking class, throwing axes, arcades. The mask of "perfection" and "avoidance" slipps off when people are taken out of their element. You actually get to see their personality shine through IRL. You can see how the rise to challenges, how thoughtful they are, or how cooperative they are.

People don't actually "date" anymore. They just "hang out" like vegetated stoners, rehasing borning uninvolved scripts about favorite colors and foods.

This is why I love being single. I actually get to enjoy my life, instead of being stuck on the couch with a severely depressed individual that hates going outside but can't stand being alone. So many people have zero interest in actually living life or exploring.

I always wonder what's up with the guys who complain about being asked to or expected to help female colleagues with physical tasks.

I think this is mostly just a Reddit phenomenon, but it just seems strange to me. In many cases said female colleague is literally physically incapable of doing said task, and even if able, chances are you can do it with far less expenditure than her.

Unless you're disabled, being upset about this just seems like weak behavior to me. This has less to do with gender norms and more to do with a tangible strength difference

Maybe it's just a "me" thing, but I always loved being asked for help with a physical task.

I haven't seen that many guys complain about it. But I have seen it sometimes though.

Salt update:

Last night I met up with this girl. Its been a bit since I salted, ive been trying to lay low but my horniness got the best of me and this basically fell right into my lap. Drama dump.

My friends and i went to a festival last weekend and i was rolling and also.. Otherwise occupied. so i was completely oblivious of all of this.

Apparently our mutual friend& classmate P was being noncommital about coming to the festival, and he told me the same thing. He ended up buying a ticket day of and asking another guy J what the plans were. But we were already like about to leave our pregame and J was drunk off his ass so he forgot to reply. P comes to the festival alone, and since he's attractive starts hitting up some random girls. We all arrive in our ubers and i hop the fence from GA to VIP and find all my friends. After one set is over my buddy and i go get some more drinks and see P standing by himself. We hug and everything but he looks kinda tilted. I find out later dude literally avoided all of tbe group because he was salty that we didn't invite him to the pregame. Yet he was invited like 5 times before he decided to go.

Starting to see more TV shows with female characters with larger bodies while at the same time more and more male characters have fitter and fitter bodies. It's kinda weird. Do you think we could ever see an inversion in entertainment where the males are fitter and hotter and the women more 'average''?
