My Job has become a literal hellscape. Since being promoted to supervisor, every time i give instructions or say something is not ok, such as neglecting work and having superloud distracting private conversations, they say i'm trying to be bossy and my tone is super unfriendly. Some say, behind my back obviously, its because i am a guy and feel a need to pull out my metaphorical schlong.

I realize that i probably am being a bit more assholish to a certain coworker. But she should know better that as a supervisor it is not appropriate for her to distract the employees, having superloud conversations about who she hooked up with or how much she drank and neglecting her duties herself.

When i try to be nice and subtle about that she just straight up ignores me. Then i'm forced to say something more direct because its literally my job, but everything i say is immediately interpreted as me being bitter or butthurt. That i'm the unprofessional one because i'm feeling rejected.

Man, i just want to quit.

The problem with PPD is you guys (and girls) always set rules and theories for how relationships should be like and what men should do and what women should do and its tit for tat, like a competition, like men and women are at each other's throats.

What you should do is find the person that you love, the person who makes you crazy about life, its like switching from a black and white movie to a colour movie.

At this point, I really just shrug off men who obsess over wanting age gap relationships because its really obvious why they want it: Control.

They will say “hotness” but that’s bullshit. There are still a lot of attractive, older women who would have more in common with the middle age man than the 20 year old will have. The problem is the 40 year old woman will realize he’s a loser far quicker than the 20 year old will.

I've come to the conclusion I've got to stop asking my mum if I can do things and just take over all of the housework because things are just fully dysfunctional.

I can't cook right now because I need to clean 4-5 days of filth and grime first, but first I need to take out the overflowing trash. And the whole time my mother wants to take over and I don't think it's at all conducive to me being self sufficient.

Im running this experiment on Twitter. Basically debating about certain topics but trynna to see if I can sway an audience that is dead set on a position. What I learned is that if you don’t respond to the person your debating. But make comments for the audience. You end up winning the discussion even if you truly never addressed the person.

Because of the person focuses on you. And you focus on the audience. The audience starts to respond back to the person in your stead. They end up focusing the person to breading their argument to fit usually many different points.

I think a big part of the reason a lot of people act like the opposite gender is a different species (making sweeping assumptions, treating their thought processes as alien, etc) is that they don’t make an effort to talk to them in the way that they do to people of the same gender. This is why I was asking about people’s social circles earlier.

I think a lot of the men/women who are harshest on women/men would soften their stances a bit if they talked to people of the opposite gender like…y’know, people, as opposed to subhumans and/or extraterrestrials. Men and women certainly have differences, both due to biology and socialization, but I think we’re more alike than we are different at the end of the day.

One of our backyard cows, Marianne, isn't feeling well. M's been off her feed and last week started to get dangerously ketotic, although a shot of propylene glycol seems to have set her straight. We started feeding her orchardgrass pellets mixed with sweet feed, which she likes and gobbles up, but she's still only picking at her hay, even the second-cutting bales my man brought home yesterday to tempt her appetite. We're hoping to be able to get the vet out this week; she was too busy to fit us into her schedule last week.

One very interesting gender assumption I face as a woman is everyone assuming my 8 year relationship ended because I called things off with him. In reality, he dumped me because I got very sick and he was unable to deal with that pressure. It's awkward to have to correct people and explain that, and they always seem very surprised.

How important is sex between couples in their forties and fifties or how often do they have it ? I'm not that age but logically the natural drop in hormones and libido, less physical ability, other responsiblities, exhaustion, less time (if kids are present) would suggest that sex becomes less and less important, the desire to have it and the frequency of the act goes down a lot too.

People are so fucking flaky. I'm not even talking about dating but even trying to socialize. I'll ask people multiple times over the course of several weeks to go do something and they keep flaking out or "i'll let you know".

Food for thought: we know dating apps are around 70% men and 30% women. If the populations were 50/50, how much less picky would women be?

There’s the common saying that women go for the top 20% on dating apps. But that makes some sense since there are SO MANY MORE MEN. Once you equalize the numbers, I bet we’d see women swipe right on the top 40-50% of men.

Maybe I’m being delusional. But I think the over abundance of men on the apps has way more impact on driving female pickiness than we give it credit for.

Like, if you're a woman and you're tired of your guy, you can easily find someone else. Online dating/apps help in this too. If you're a guy, that one girl you're seeing might be the only girl in your entire life who likes you.

It's why women initiate more divorces than men. Women have options, men know damn well that "this could be it." It's why you'll hear about men pining for a "oneitis" years after the two interacted: that could have been the guy's one chance in all his life for a romantic relationship, and he blew it.

Really really heated right, so I might as well share why.

if it's enough so that it's a phenomenon, doesn't that imply most women would be height queens if they had the ability to do so? This makes it feel like the only reason more average women aren't height queens is because they're settling for what they can afford.
