Nightclubs are known as places people go to to socialize, make friends and date, but the truth is that most people go there with their already established group of friends and are averse to meet new people (unless those people are already vouched for). Very rarely did any person come into my group of friends while clubbing and when they did, they never stuck around and were seen as an outsider.

The same is true with groups formed only of women. As much as solo males or male-only groups would want to socialize with them, more often than not, the female group tends to stick together after a polite talk to one of the group members: "i have to find my friends", "it was nice talking to you but I will go back to my friends" and so on.

With the gyms, grocery stores and libraries being seen as a no-no zone since approaching makes the man look like a creep (except for extraordinary situations). What can men do?
