Last night I left my old beater truck parked behind my sister-in-law's and this morning when she went to leave for her Very Important Job, it wouldn't start. I had been dating this guy for 6 months and he made it official with someone else 3 months ago. She was in town for a wedding he invited her to that he told me he didn’t have a plus 1 for. She found some note and picture I sent him that he kept and it seems like she forced him to call me and tell me that he has a girlfriend.

All of the lies and manipulation are so ridiculously complex that I’m having a hard time accepting that this is reality. He told me he has bipolar and is an alcoholic and when he’d have depressive episodes he needed space. That space was actually him visiting her because she lived in another city. He left me on read multiple times thinking he was close to being hospitalized because he didn’t want her to see me texting him. I think one time we had phone sex while he was visiting her because he momentarily “felt better.” I’m so deeply disturbed that he pretended to be depressed in order to keep seeing me and her.

He honestly seemed like the most empathetic and compassionate guy I’ve ever met who was going through a hard time with his mental illness. The conversations we had up until I found this out were so deep and loving. We had so much great sex. He just took me to some of his AA meetings with him and said this was him showing he wanted to get to a committed place. He constantly told me that he just needed space and time to heal so we could be official.

Can't help but get some satisfaction out of someone learning the hard way that "empathy and compassion" don't always equate to moral virtue.

I caught my son watching Andrew Tate

Here is the most unpopular opinion in this sub: "The Wall" in this case for women is a fugazi. Today, I took my child to the zoo for the first time. I absolutely did not feel good about my body, my outfit, or my appearance in general. She replies to him that she was behind the camera or out of frame. She explains in the post that she never felt confident about her body, and so she never felt comfortable being photographed. She expresses regret that she now doesn’t have any pictures of them enjoying life and creating memories together.

So, I let my grandmother take my picture today. There’s this candid shot of my kid and I going down a crazy slide together, and in it we’re both laughing and having a great time… it’s just pure, unfettered joy. Every time I look at it, I am filled with such warmth and happiness, and I bust out into a huge grin. I am so, so glad I let the camera roll.

I think everyone is entitled. Women want prince charming. Men want the 20 year old virgin girl. Went to a party this weekend, didn't know most of the guests but had a good time. One of the attendees was a woman wearing the Stacy party girl uniform, but I clocked a mousy girl glow up. She was about 5'6", late 30's to early 40's, bleach fried blond hair, ridiculously short shorts, platform stiletto shoes, tit job, lip filler, and gobs of Instagram style make up. He struck me as a guy going through a mid life crisis, went to the gym (as men are prone to do when they don't know wtf to do), and met his future wife at the squat rack. His teeth were too white, his hair too slick, and his clothes were trendy but ill fitting. I have no idea how old he is, maybe mid 40's? He didn't talk much, just seemed kinda goofy/awkward but happy to have a reasonably attractive woman twerk on him to Sean Paul.

The host of the party spilled some tea, and apparently home girl is known for her numerous gym boyfriends, proclamations of marriage, and then a brilliant messy breakup or a rushed Vega style wedding. She's accumulated 3 ex-husbands.

Went to a party town yesterday that has a large LGBT community. Older gay guy starts flirting with me at the bar.
