Whenever the topic of body counts and sexual experience comes up, both here and in other subs, other men and women will respond to the people who speak negatively of women with high body counts that they're insecure.

Now, yes, a lot of the guys who badmouth these women are being jerks and unreasonable. Even controlling and mysoginistic. Call them what you will, but insecure? I can only say to that, why shouldn't those men feel insecure with her level of experience? Why are they being unreasonable in their insecurity?

Speaking for myself, If a woman has had like three or four previous relationships, then I can make an honest effort to be the best man she's ever had, the one that she won't want to leave.

But if she's had like forty or fifty guys before ever meeting me, then I know that in a line up with fifty other randomly picked men, I am absolutely not going to be the best choice available there. So what can I do?

I can either end things and search out for someone with less data points that they can compare me to. Or I can stay in a relationship with someone who has had better before and can probably have better again, and I have to live in a race to prevent that from happening.

That's extremely unappealing to me. I know that it's improbable and unrealistic for me to expect a virgin, but I also don't think that it's unreasonable of me to hold out for that over getting into a relationship with a woman who will be there with me but in her mind will be constantly thinking of her ex John, who had a much better job; or Daniel, who was much more fit; or Harry, who wasn't balding; or Steven, who was taller; or Mike, who was a much better conversationalist; and so on and so on.
