It's taken for granted in communities like this that women have higher standards for casual sex than for LTRs. Anecdotally, I've seen the opposite. I used to be harsh on pro choicers who used the "they just want to control women's bodies", because I thought it was about protecting the life of an innocent unborn child. While I've always been pro choice, I could see what the other side was saying and kind of understand it.

But I'm not so sure anymore.

I can't see a good reason to ban birth control that isn't trying to control women's bodies. It makes no sense.

One of the most counter intuitive ideas is how simping makes you unattractive.

If you are normally nice to everyone then you are extra extra nice to someone you have a crush on and want to date.

You treat her so well that she likes you more. You make her feel positive emotions. She associates those emotions with you, wants to spend more time with you. Starts to like you and eventually love you/crush on you.

But trp warns against this.

Don't treat her like a girlfriend before she is one. Don't give yourself so easily, so cheaply. Humans take what they get easily for granted.

These actions lower your status in her eyes and in a man status is super important to attraction.

I'm just thinking, when it comes to the typical story of young woman getting into an abusive relationship (or a series of abusive relationships) and then they finally learn to respect themselves and "learn to have standards", when these women are getting into those toxic relationships, do they see their partner as a "human being"? Ever since I started going to the gym I’ve been so confused about the whole “women wearing too much exposing stuff” debate.

I definitely see some women wearing revealing clothes but then again I also see men wear incredibly skintight clothes or even going shirtless as long as the gym allows it. And it makes sense.

First off, I’m sure people like to show off their physique that the worked hard for. Second off, it is SO STUFFY and WARM in there, I never even thought about that before but I’m convinced almost girls wear short clothes/men go shirtless because it is the most comfortable. I tried working out in joggers and an oversized short sleeve and it was genuine hell.

I’m sure there’s people who do it for attention or whatever but overall, it’s a gym. Why should we look out for being covered up and not comfortable.
