This doesn’t prove that all women would do the same as Talulah - any more than Musk divorcing his first wife of the same age as him after she’d had his children and then chasing a much younger woman is proof that all men would trade a loyal wife in for a younger model if given the chance. Or do you agree that most men are that disloyal?

Women who value men for their money and social status above all else exist. Women who value men for their looks first and foremost exist. You get men here complaining about both types of women and yet you can’t really have it both ways if it’s about “female nature” and not about different approaches from different types of women. Some women are gold diggers given the opportunity. Some men will trade their wife in for a younger model given the opportunity. Most men and women are not doing either of those things nor do they want to or agree with it morally. Finding examples of these behaviours is easy - but finding examples of people not doing these things is even easier. Guess what gets more attention though?

Edit: Since OP doesn't actually want to debate based on their questions I'll just go into why case studies are not the proper format to research this particular claim.

Case studies are only useful in looking into unique phenomenons or rare situations. Two people deciding to date each other is not a rare occurrence what so ever. We all came into this world because a man and a woman decided to have sex.

This couple maybe a good case study for affluent age gap relationships because of how RARE it is.

If we’re using Elon Musk as a case study to say mean things about women, then be fair and use the same case study to say negative things about men.

If Elon Musk’s trashy life is a good example in your mind of how mating works, then as a reminder, he previously had a loyal wife and multiple kids and had no problem abandoning them, and now also pays various women to be his baby mommas without ever visiting those kids.

So if you wanna use Elon as your case study for how you think women all act, then by all means be fair and point out that you think all men will eagerly abandon their loyal wives when they get a little too old and pay women to take his sperm samples to become single mothers so he doesn’t have to care about his kids in person.

If you don’t think that’s a fair evaluation of how all men would act if they had the opportunity, then maybe reconsider your doom and gloom hate-thoughts of women, too. And if you do think that’s a fair assessment of all men… why do you think you deserve anyone better than a conniving gold digger?

So what about my case study(anecdote). Me when I was 20, unattractive, short, south asian, dirt poor. Got together with the most attractive white girl in my social circle. We dated, she fell in love with me eventually and even when she discovered that I was not quite right in the head, never left me, stayed with me and has always been loyal.

I eventually did start to make some okay money and we moved into the middle class and had kids and now live a pretty standard life. Although I am still not quite right in the head.

She never got the ick, she never left for a more attractive guy, and we have had an active sex life since the first day that we met. Which was over 2 decades ago.

She could have done so much better than me. But she was in love and did not want anyone else.

According to what you say, this should not be possible.

P.S. She used to pay for more when we were dating early on as she had more money than me. This has sometimes shifted when I have had more. But today we pretty much make the same amount each and own everything we have jointly. She even bought rounds and asked me to dance on the first night that we met. Invited me back to hers when the night ended. Swapped numbers in the morning and texted me first to meet up again.

This is perfectly rational pragmatism on her part. I don’t see this as rule breaking. She was blessed with likely the best option that would possibly present itself to her in her lifetime and she capitalized on it. Hypergamy doesn’t need to be proven over again. We could probably have a way more egalitarian sexual relationship between the sexes, but Elon dickriders insist on maintaining the capitalist mode of production despite obvious cracks in its foundation resulting from the contradictions inherent to it.
