Hypothetical scenario for pro-choice people, but also for anyone who ants to answer. Mainly directed towards pro-choice women.

Let's say in the future, science invents fully artificial wombs that can function exactly like a real womb. So if a woman gets pregnant unintentionally, you can take the foetus out and put him/her in the artificial womb, and they will grow and nourish there for 40 weeks until they are "born". So there is no need for a woman to ever carry an unwanted pregnancy.

However, this child, once they are born, is legally the child of their biological parents and their biological parents are obliged to either raise it and care for it, or pay child support for the state/a foster family to take care of it. They have no choice to opt out.

And also abortions are illegal.

So basically, there is no need any more for a woman to unwillingly donate any part of her body to grow a foetus for 40 weeks, so the "bodily autonomy" option no longer applies. But the death of the child is not an option she can just choose, and she is also financially responsible for the child for 18 years, similar to a dad who has to pay child support.

thoughts on this scenario? Would you support it, do you think its fair? Its essentially the same deal as fathers who conceive children but don't want them, but since its not their body, end up financially responsible for them.

Pasting my response to the thread about spending money on women for dates here. Thoughts?

Here's the thing: when courting women, many men, unfortunately, do things they don't genuinely want or like to do because they are under the impression that women find those actions endearing.

IMO, the reason guys talk so much about being used for meals and feeling taken advantage of is because of perceived violation(s) of what is in essence a convert contract. We're told women like men who treat them, court them, buy them flowers, chocolates, and gifts, etc., so men do those things in an attempt to get the woman they desire for whatever reason(s) they may desire them (short relationship, sex, marriage, and so on). However, when the men don't get their desired outcome (their end of the contract), they feel cheated or used, likely because it feels inequitable.

Women experience the same thing. For example, many of them are (again, unfortunately) given the impression that sex will result in commitment or reciprocal emotional investment from the man they desire. When they then choose to be vulnerable in that way only to have the guy in question subsequently nonchalantly move on, they likely end up feeling used/cheated/taken advantage of and become sad, angry, frustrated, and eventually bitter if it happens enough. This is likely why many women hold off on sex when they want a relationship; they want to ensure there is sufficient emotional reciprocity from the guy.

Basically, if you (generic) don't want to feel this way, it may be prudent to only do things you genuinely like doing. I doubt one feels taken advantage of when doing what they want to do.

If you genuinely get satisfaction by treating women you find attractive to a meal, then do that. If she is lame/corny enough to think she is "finessing" you out of a meal, then she's just that: lame and corny. Either way, you got what you wanted: you had meal and enjoyed her company for the evening. Nix contact with that particular one and move on to one more compatible.

If you see little value in or outright dislike financially investing in a woman early on, don't do it. You'll just have to sift through your options until you can find one who both likes you and accepts that boundary.

If you just want to have sex, indicate your intentions. She'll decide if she's cool with that and will move accordingly.

As usual, there is nuance to this. If you're dating someone and you know she values getting flowers or chocolates, it doesn't hurt to get them for her to make her day. You already know you are both invested by that point in the relationship.

In general, however, I think men should stop doing what they dislike when trying to court their potential interests. As we've seen, it makes things unnecessarily complicated in the long run.

I feel the definition of incel has become really skewed over the last few years. People have come to believe that you have to follow a set of beliefs and buy into some ideology in order to be an incel, when the only thing required to be an incel is just being someone who wants to get laid but can't.

You don't have to have a certain mindset, you don't have to follow certain beliefs, it's literally as simple as wanting sex and not being able to get it.

This whole idea that women go for exciting guys when they're young and stable guys when they're older is so stupid. My brother (thirties now) met his current wife when he was 24 and she was 21/22. Both in university. Women like stable guys even when they're young. Guys who are reliably working on their degree and exhibit signs of stableness and potential. I know many stories like that.

One thing disturbing about life is that even though problems/issues are inevitable you wish that you had the proper solution where everyone wins on the outcome. The truth is that there are many times that you don't know what road to take without hurting someone else in the process, no matter what it is. A lot of us as human beings feel like we have disappointed ourselves whenever we want the most optimal solution where it doesn't have a negative effect on everyone involved and see that its nearly impossible to attain no matter what you try. I think that can be a huge shock for someone who tries to be as easy going as possible.

A lot of problems on this sub are solved when you date people who are actually into you or do things without expecting something in return (covert contracts). My gf (when we were just acquaintances) asked me out to coffee (not a date but she just happened to be in the area). I took her up on her offer and then paid the entire bill (there was food ordered). She was surprised and offered to get it the next time (I’m still waiting :p). Was I expecting to get something out of it? Maybe subconsciously but on a conscious level it was a gesture of goodwill. I didn’t think she was even interested in me just based off her body language. We are dating now, I pay for everything and I’m far from a beta bux (very very far).

Also learn how to tell who’s genuinely interested in getting to know you and who isn’t. I’ve never struggled with this. A woman can flake after a date but for the most part I can tell who’s worth investing in even before the first date.

It’s Friday night, hubby’s back from travel. I’m getting caught up on work and personal tasks and PPD in between loads of laundry, H is in his office preparing a major client presentation for Monday. jr announces he’s going to out meet friends. after the door closes behind him we look at our watches and realize we have 20 min before a call with his California based colleague and the next load comes out of the dryer — perfect time for a quickie.

Something that would have been depressing when we were first married (scheduling sex around dirty drawers and conference calls) now makes us feel like we’re kids again and sneaking out of the house for some spontaneous nookie in the backseat.

Moral of the story: life is all about perspective.

As a religious Catholic, I have a lot of respect and admiration for Muslims. I know many and they are all amazing people. I find we have the same perspective on most moral and cultural issues and see eye to eye. Right-wingers who seethe at Muslim immigration are fucking stupid, they are essentially rejecting socially conservative people with strong family values on account of ethnic differences. All the studies and as the red pillers are constantly reminding us, seem to say that men want younger, even much younger, women. So why does it seem like most of the most-famous men just leverage their fame to attract the most attractive women in their own age group that exist?

One of the big revelations of hypergamy is seeing less attractive women show so much interest.
