Why should men commit/marry modern 25+ women? Yes, I'm aware of exceptions, but most modern women are ill prepared for their role in marriage. (Yes, men are I'll prepared too, but this is a discussion on women) Let's say we have a marriageable man. Why should he commit/marry a woman if:

  1. She's spent the majority of her twenties in ONS/Flings, situationships/short term relationships, dysfunctional/abusive relationships instead of a history of cultivating a healthy LTR?

  2. She's losing her youth and beauty to age?

  3. She already provided the benefits of marriage such as sex or child(ren) to the man or to someone else. Why should he progress further than boyfriend girlfriend?

  4. She expects the man to perform both traditional and modern male roles whichever is most convenient to her; yet, she refuses to perform traditional roles? Why should the antiquated tradition of marriage ever be a consideration?

  5. Are you the table? Is that all? Can't I just get a newer model who's more compliant, letting me pick the tablecloth and dining set to put on the table?

Thank you for discussing.
