The only one on this list I mostly agree with is:

Flirting and bantering by leaning in subtly and softly laughing. Grazing his arm lightly or slightly letting your leg graze his when you’re talking.

And that's just because it's one way (among many) to demonstrate you're interested.

All the others are pretty annoying and feel like they come from a dating self help book written in the 1950s. Maybe some people respond well to this, but I think it is a misconception that most men want someone who acts dumb and useless.

edit: Ah but I didn't even try to add my own answer:

I just want someone I feel comfortable around. I put a lot of my energy in early dating to help the other person feel at ease around me, and if after a while I don't feel at ease around them too, I'll let it fizzle. Playing hard to get does not put me at ease because if I can't tell the difference between "hard to get" and "not interested," I'll just assume they're not interested.

All of my short term relationships that became long term ones were with people who made it clear they liked me. One time that meant starting to lean in a lot and get very touchy after a few hours of our date (like the bullet point I agreed with). A different time, she straightforwardly asked "can I kiss you?" after a date where I wasn't sure how she felt before that point. As I said, there are many ways to demonstrate you're interested.

Outside of that, all their "lady game" was just being someone who was attractive and interesting to me. Shared sense of humor, interests, values, etc

I guess my "lady's game" is just acting like myself. I grew up around men and learned quickly to have a "masculine" attitude to avoid being stepped on/abused. It's not an unnatural stage for me to be either but I toggle into feminine mode when I'm around someone who makes me feel safe.

I don't think I've ever consciously deployed lady game. Thats not to say I've not used it, but I've never conceptualized using it as a tool.

When I look back at how and when men were drawn to me, its because I could handle witty + spicy banter while still looking and acting very femme. Guys would say/do outrageous things I'd never bat an eye.

I was never loud or necessarily took part in razzing group banter, but occasionally I'd pop in with a quiet, cutting remark and men found that charming.

Femme presentation was always second nature to me, so really I think the appeal was a quiet femme lady that could/would say some dark shit and laugh at it.

I never overtly played the sexuality card, and I wouldn't even know where to begin with that one. But I do dress sexyish in general, which I think is a helpful stat buff when you have a good body but quiet personality.

ETA: I could never abide by the damsel trope, to my bones it makes me sick. Asking men for help (especially on simple tasks) makes me cringe on such a deep level. The same goes for playing dumb, or anything that taps into Man Smart/Woman Silly dynamics. I think for woman like me, its easier to play up smarty pants/goody two shoes with a subversive streak.

That subversive streak is what hooks men, and makes them curious to know more.

My partner is very sweet, gentle, and girly, but she likes a lot of darker things. We actually met on Tinder. I guess her "game" was holding good conversations before our date, looking really cute in her dress on our first date, and being open to sexual topics and activities early on. Generally, I escalated things, and she allowed me to do so. I planned our first date: coal-fired pizza, then conversation at a marina by the water. The majority of it is done before you even show up. Staying fit and taking care of your body, choosing the right clothes, having a good hairstyle etc.

As for behaviors it's not so much about making a man feel he's "impressive." It's about making him feel needed and desirable. Also very important is showing you are light-hearted and fun, not bitter and jaded with lots of baggage to carry.

I think Safinated has the right of it. In my case, the missus sort of wowed me with her knowledge about a lot of things and her head for languages (she's from Central Europe and got to learn a lot of languages early, pursued that further into linguistics at university) and her general knowledge of how other countries and cultures work.

She's also very attractive, but her general life attitudes and cool knowledge really helped.

Interesting question:

I think my number one answer at this point in my life is cooking. I already love to cook for people and treat them as the test audience for things, but when I'm interested in a guy, I start making huge excuses to hand him various things and let him know I'm looking forward to his opinion.

Teasing him is another big thing, not in a mean way, but just in a like, seeing if he's capable of laughing at himself and seeing if he can enjoy being playful with me.

Playful touching is a big part of it. (Not going near any no no zones, but little taps, light wrestling, playful shoves, aggression.

Grooming behaviors is a big thing whether it's adjusting his hair, grabbing fluff, adjusting his shirt.

Who among has not gotten up to go to the bathroom and given a little ash shake on the way there.

Lots of leaning in and getting close.

A lot of talking about the stuff he's interested in and showing an interest in the stuff he's interested in or embracing it/copying it. (That one is a little embarrassing to recognize).

Some damsel behavior for sure. Lots of neediness or asking for help that I don't necessarily truly NEED.

Certainly dressing better, doing my hair better, etc.

Making him earn big reactions and laughs, being weirdly both difficult to shock and also shocked by unexpected things.

A lot of sending memes or pictures of things that I let him know I thought he'd like or reminded me of him.

I haven't experienced much of it, but most of what I have experienced was quite literally them just trying to get through my thick skull that they liked me.

Examples.

First girl I went on a date with must have liked me for weeks if not months, because she would always sit across from me at work and chat with me throughout our shift. One day I notice she's wearing a low cut dress, and is reaching across our desks to take a pen from my side. And waiting there just long enough for me to get an eyeful.

She'd have had better success if she just cut to the chase and said "I like you, let's go on a date sometime" but instead she went through all that song and dance.

Listen to women give advice to guys in dating, when they say "go out and put yourself out there". That is basically what they do.

The best sign that a girl is into you is proximity. If she's around you, and more so if she's around you quite often, more likely than not she's putting herself there for you, trying to lure you into approaching her.

I'm a fan of rock and metal concerts you know, and mind you there are not that much gals attending to those. But the girls I've met in concerts basically stood there for me to open up and talk to them. One of the girls I'm seing currently for example, I caught her staring at me once, then suddenly she started moving with her friend next to my side, I basically ignored her for 20 minutes and then she moved right in front of me, like "no way you don't see me now bitch" haha.

You can see this a lot in parties, bars, night clubs...

I own two bars and a nightclub BTW. I do get approached a lot, but really good looking gals try to get me to approach them of course.

They glance at you, then start moving closer, and at some point they are grinding their asses in front of you. Or when I'm behind the bar they take seat and ask me for drinks and don't move until they strike a convo or get my IG or whatever.

Something that women do too, specially when they are young, is to try to bump into you all the time and make it look like "casual".

In the front door, while walking the dog at the park, buying groceries in the mall, in the gym...

If you happen to run into a particular gal several times a day specially, she'd trying to conect to you.

The qualities you mentioned are like catnip to men, but that they dismiss the performance and skill on these things as nothing more than being “not a bitch”.

I am pretty sure my lack of skill in this regime is a huge part of why I was so unlucky in dating. I’m fairly ordinary looking, but I completely lack the kind of feminine charisma that draws men in and makes them adore a woman.

I will say this. Every species on earth has a mating dance. It is different for each species, whether insect, avian, mammal, fish, whatever.

People who know how to do the mating dance, are typically successful in mating.

People who 1. Refuse to do the mating dance and/or 2. Refuse to even accept that there is a mating dance, usually end up unsuccessful, lonely and bitter. I observe the latter with both men and women, but it seems more prevalent with men. Women seem to understand that if they paid attention to their appearance, dressed in a sexy way, did their hair and make up, and learned to flirt a bit, they would be successful.

Lots of men, for whatever reason, absolutely refuse to play the dance or even acknowledge that there is a dance. They balk at ideas that involve improving their grooming and dressing style, improving their social and flirting skills, and most importantly learning to play the game by being more aloof and keeping it fun and detached especially in the beginning. For some reason to them, that seems like a huge, Herculean effort.

Some of these are just giving indicators of interest. Others are, well, patronizing. Haha. And I don't disagree that it will get a man's attention. Most men will be loving it if they're getting signs that a woman they're into is attracted to them. That's all it takes.

In other words, these assume men are kind of simple and gullible. And we are.

...well, to a point.

I like sex. I like sex with attractive women. If an attractive women is laughing at stuff I say even if it's not funny or is being very accommodating and flattering then I'll be thinking "Oh, it's on" in my mind. She'll be capturing my attention, but mostly because I'm recognizing that she's into me and I'm thinking I have a good chance of satisfying my biological urges.

I will see that she is performing for me. And that's fine! It's flattering. I'm a man. I'm simple. I like it.

I think my point is that of course men will simply like the positive attention and you can't go wrong giving it to him.

That said, in order for a woman to really impress me, make me really think about her a lot, want to spend lots of time with her, and think about something long-term, she will have to show me something more than she just has the hots for me.

I like a woman who has something impressive about her, who is complex, who has strength and power but can also be gentle and feminine, at least with me. I like witty banter and a woman who can keep up with me intellectually. I like when a woman isn't afraid to playfully tease me and can receive some playful teasing in return. I like a woman who clearly has self-respect and shows she is into me because she believes I am exceptional and worthy of her.

I think about the word authenticity a lot. Authenticity is necessary for deeper attraction, for men and women. The difference is that authenticity is often necessary for superficially attracting women, but not men. That is what I was talking about at first. A woman being overly accommodating or simping for a man will find men love this. Men are also ok with being patronized so long as the woman is into him. A woman seeing the same things in a man will reject him for being weak, spineless, inauthentic, and not worthy for a casual or serious relationship.

tl;dr Almost any positive attention, even if inauthentic, will work on men because men are horny. But it won't necessarily be the basis of long-term attraction. What your "lady game" should be depends on what your goals are and what kind of man you want to attract.
