There isnt an incentive. Its a catch 22 for women: men wont date you if you dont sleep with them (and they expect it pretty dang early now) but then they judge you when you have a past. So basically you have to be an attractive likeable woman (who of course will get male attention) but you have to not slept with many of the men who express interest in you, and then when she meets you since you are special she HAS to feel you're the exception! and sleep with you early. Yet, if you break up later, shes a hoe. Its impossible to please men as a woman.

Unless it's extreme, I don't think there is a significant incentives for low n count for women (exceot for certain studies showing correlation beyween body count and sucess of relationships).

The simple fact is that most women can and will have lots of relationships and hence will have high count

A small proportion of highly desirable men will have very high body count (even more than their desirable female counterparts). A group of men will also have a certain body count.

Those who get no strings attached sex will go on to have them and support casual sex.

Those who can't get them will hate such a dating situation.

I personally don't like to have sex without any intimacy and love. Hence I don't indulge in casual sex. But I don't necessarily think people who have them are demons or of that sort.

You're misinterpreting the alleged benefit. Nobody is saying every low N count woman can score a tall handsome wealthy guy. That's 1% of the population. But with a low N she has access to a higher amount of relationship-minded men than otherwise, and enjoys a lower risk of her past ruining her current relationship.

But most of benefit is internal; she herself will be less jaded by past encounters, and can be happier about settling down with an average guy, if she didn't have a bunch of flings with sexy guys beforehand.

People adjust to their experiences, and if your experience is short-term intimacy, lifelong intimacy in marriage may then prove difficult for you to be content with.

Women are more likely to be infected with a STD than men are to contract an STD from a women.

There might not be an incentive for a woman to have a low notch count these days but it was very important in the not so distant past. Men prefer women who don't sleep around because it has been an effective male mating strategy over the course of history. Prior to paternity testing there was no way a man could possibly know whether a child was his or not. This is why female fidelity has always been prized. Not accruing battle damage?? The body has its own built-in motivation and reward system, but it also has a cost. Most people imprint pretty hard on at least their first sexual partner, with diminishing returns after that.

Spent on someone faithful and worth spending a life with, that's not a bad deal. Spent on teenage-Todd who whinges, "Well, if you really loved me..." is, quite literally, a f***ing waste.

But, you know, getting stuck on the first manipulative bastard you get stuck by is not exactly a great place to be. Objectively, you know you shouldn't spend yourself on someone who isn't good for you... but your body wasn't set up that way. It wants sex, and if "Todd" is your best and only example, you're going to stick around way longer than you should in order to keep the hormonal withdrawal symptoms at bay. (You ever see people try and quit cocaine? Same neural systems that are stimulated. Some people are more affected than others.)

There's only a handful of routes to choose from there:

Keep going until it's impossible to continue, which brings you right back to this decision tree with more emotional baggage.
Roll the dice on someone new to get addicted to, but likely still making the same poor decisions.
Quit cold-turkey.

There are a few issues at play:

Much like Crack, you'll always end up "chasing the rock." Meaning, whatever your high water mark is? You will always long to experience that again... but you can't. Even if you manage to land an absolute "10," even if enjoyable, it will eventually no longer be "new."
Almost no man finds it acceptable to have a long-term relationship where he's raising other men's kids. So while you're collecting meritbadges, most may simply find you convenient. Meanwhile, your own kids are getting jacked up.

Overall, don't take lifestyle advice from drug addicts. The underlying reason why the most vocal and obnoxious proponents of casual sex or multiple partners prattle on has nothing to do with fulfillment, agency, fighting the patriarchy, or whatever make-believe circular excuse they offer... it's all about getting their next fix, and you're a means to a very temporary end. Think of it as leverage.

I think I’m general it’s a good idea for (most) women to avoid sleeping around for their own mental health. Women are quick to “catch feels” after sex and without proper vetting out themselves at risk of getting hurt, not to mention they are disproportionately impacted by the negative physical / health consequences of sex, especially causal sex.

Obviously there are some women for whom this does not apply but it’s generally true on a population level. Doesn’t mean there can’t or shouldn’t be exceptions to the rule, but in general women will feel better about sex and derive more satisfaction from it with a man who is committed to her.

I don’t think women should factor male preferences into this equation at all.

Women with low body count are very rare and are as valuable as gold. It is not guaranteed but it will definetly increase their chances to find a high value man. And since women with low body count are rare, high value men will try their best and keep that woman. And even if the man is average, it will just motivate the man to be a better man because he knows how rare of a woman he has and he tries to become better himself.

It used to be in marriage, and when it came to marriage the line about body count was strictly draw as 0.

If you had more than 0 partners, you were not worthy or marriage.

Honestly, today's concepto of N-count doesn't make sense, dudes are trying to figure out if their girlfriends got 10 or 50 or 500, and I'm like...

If you're an average woman there probably isn't much incentive and same for ugly women even tho I think there the assumption is most guys only like you because they think you're easy so no sex means you get nothing basically.

However, for above average women, it probably could be the make or break if a better man comes along, but he has strict values. Above average women being the ones who probably have tons of sexual experience getting flown around by rich men and stuff, which would make you less valuable to other men if you already have those experiences.

People will take what they can get aka rhe best option on the table. Most women will end up with an average guy or be shared by a high value guy.

Very few women will have a high value guy for themselves. The caveat to that, the women that get high value guys to themselves, the overwhelming majority were with that guy prior to him living up to his potential.

As for the average guy, if the average woman has a body count to the moon; he only has a handful of options.

Level up, so he can attract a higher quality woman (get in the gym, make more money, develop social skills... ect).
Move to a place that the average woman is higher quality (example would be the passport bros).
Walk away from the dating scene entirely
What most people do, and that's settle.

You can complain on the internet all day about body count, but if the supply in your geographical region are women with high body count, you have to adapt, choose an alternative, quit, or settle. For me personally, I chose option #1. My single days were phenomenal, and now I'm happily married.

Most people are going to choose option #4 which is settle

The only “incentives for a woman to have a low body count” is regardless of what they think about it most men are repulsed by high body count woman.

Are you okay with being negatively judged by most Men? Maybe you are. Maybe you aren’t.

There are both very obvious societal and evolutionary reasons for this but at the end of the day whatever the reason and however unjust women think this is; it is what it is.

It’s no different than a men getting upset about woman’s height preferences. Men can argue it’s double standards. Height should be irrelevant given it no longer holds any utility in a modern industrial society… blah blah blah

At the end of the day though biology wins out and it is what it is.

If a woman is happy with having a high body count she should wear it as a badge of honour. The vast majority of woman know deep down though a high body count for a woman has very negative connotations about her character in the eyes of not only men but society in general. Everybody knows that slut shaming is actually even more prominent among woman than it is by men. It’s just hardwired into humanity to believe promiscuity goes against a woman’s natural state. This is not to say this is right or fair in any way.

It just is what it is.

Some will be fine rebelling against this notion. Most however won’t as we all naturally want to stay as part of “the tribe”. This is evident by the fact that even on anonymous forums like Reddit most woman still won’t reveal their actual true body counts if asked. There is something still inherent in them that feels shameful about their promiscuity even though causal sex is supposedly liberating.

It is what it is.
