I think many men's problem is that once they see a shred of positive feedback, they get all excited and assume they're in there. And then when they're not in there, they get all disappointed or outraged.

Guys: women can and will change their mind for any reason or no reason at all and in 95% of cases, you'll never know why. Hell, you'll never know if she was ever attracted to you in the first place.

Here are four rules I forced myself to remember:

If she agrees to hang out, it doesn't mean she'll show up
If she shows up, it doesn't mean she'll kiss you
If she kisses you, it doesn't mean she'll fuck you

Once I internalized them, purged all expectations, and started treating every possible partner as a write-off-in-waiting, who could disappear at any point for any reason, my attitude towards dating and women became a lot healthier and less bitter.

I’ve realized one of the reasons dating is so hard. The women who are into personality and would fall for bluepill game are either already taken (both by genuinely nice guys and by assholes who know how to pretend). The women who would’ve given you a chance despite your looks or who have a lower threshold are already taken. I’ve noticed these women don’t stay single long either. I recently stopped talking to 3 different women who were interested in me. 2 found relationships within a week. The last one within a month. You are then left with the damaged goods (women who’ve been hurt a lot aka FDS or women who have extremely high standards and are fickle ala Tinder). There are lots of decent/ok women around. Those of you who have health related issues with your vagina, how do you deal with it? I think women subconsciously give false validation to average men very frequently. She will say "you're cute" and will boost a guys confidence from 0 to 100 then she will never act on it then will never think of you ever again. Its sort of like a 15 minute high that you will have before you fall back to normal. I think the strategy to this is to brush off any complements women give that way you won't end up being disappointed shortly after.
