They are job interviews for the role of 'the boyfriend', which has many requirements, including having money/resources which the interviewer (the woman) can use.

This is why women always want to know what men they might wanna date do for work. The guy's answer tells women whether he's worth their time or not. But it's not really about the job itself ofcourse. Its about money. A guy with no job most likely has no money so women can't use him for anything, so they have no interest in him.

So ironically, to get the job of 'the boyfriend', you need to have money because that will be one of your employer's (girlfriend) main interests in being with you. In this job you don't get paid in money. In fact, you actually have to spend money, and in return you get sex and "love". It almost sounds like what rhymes with the word 'constitution'.
