I'd rather say, if the original TRP sub had been a bit better moderated, it wouldn't have been censored.

Look, the TRP sub was cool. It had loads of great info and gave men a good space to post their experiences. But...

Many posts had people advocating sexual violence and saying it was totally ok. Same with the comments section.
Some posts were advocating consuming drugs in order to get into a IDGAF mindset
Some of the public figures of TRP like Roosh basically said, publicly that rape should be legal in your property.
Flirting with the far right was pretty commonplace and many platforms do not like that.

These kinds of posts/attitudes made for a pretty strong case for putting the sub on quarantine, besides... TRP isn't censored... It's just not on Reddit. TRP.red exists, the mods and the people who lurked that sub are there and they continue to debate their stuff on their own website. How on earth is that a form of censorship

To be fair, we often censor things that we believe will cause harm if not combated and removed.

Not to compare the two, but it's just a solid example.

Promoting Nazisim is censored and removed for fear of people falling into the ideology without knowing any better, then that spreading out into a bigger and bigger problem.

The thought is likely that Red Pill is a harmful ideology that causes more and more negative effects the more and more people who come to fall into the ideology.

I'd make reference to the way people, namely teachers, reacted when children started using Red Pill talking points in school after watching Andrew Tate videos.

Just because something is censored doesnt mean its true. Would you apply the same logic to, lets say, gender identity? "Trump is banning gender identities so it means that there are more than two sexes". Food companies are also censored and can't say "made from real strawberries" on products without real strawberries, it doesnt mean that "real strawberries" would accuratly describe their product.

Well first, regardless of anything about the red pill, your argument is a straight up logical fallacy. Loads of things get opposed or not published, not because they’re “right”, but because they’re wrong or dumb. Opposition by the majority is not a signal of truth or correctness. Opposition and truth aren’t correlated. It’s just a signal of a lack of popularity, for better or worse.

But also, if I remember correctly, TRP originally got quarantined on Reddit for brigading, not for content.

When they want to sensor for content, they go a lot farther and delete the subreddit entirely, like what happened to the jailbait subreddit (advocating child sexual abuse and child porn), for example.

By your argument, the “jailbait” subreddit is your “truth” too… in which case, lemme just phone up the FBI…

First, an idea need not be accurate to cause harm, nor for people to wish to censor it. In fact, it is false info that generally causes the most harm. This reminds me of when my mom used to say “I know Christianity must be true because they’re trying to persecute us.” Of course the fact is all religions have faced persecution at different times in history and in different locations, and negative reactions to an idea or group do not indicate anything about its merit.

Second, it generally doesn’t take a sub being “predominantly” comprised of violent subject matter to get it banned. Just enough repeated violations of the rules.

That's why you hear "It's wrong, it doesn't work on anyone" to "They have to use manipulations to get sex"

I remember watching videos of pick up back in the days and then learning women had an issue against it. (Which was a huge shock to me at the time)

I never fully understood it, until I've heard women talking openly about men in intimate scenarios, etc.

With that being said, TRP is dead lol. It was never fully accurate to begin with, the good it still had was killed by this gen of influencers.. Andrew Tate, Fresh & Fit, etc.

What frustrates me is that subreddits like redpill women is open but the men’s TRP is censored snd not even available on the mobile version of Reddit.

Too many people are lazy when it comes to learning about views with which they don’t agree. So they see the extremist spew some nonsense and immediately assume that’s what, for instance, the red pill is about.

Fact is the red pill is reality, and no average guy likes that uncomfortable reality. Many men, myself included, became red pilled due to bad relationships. I didn’t wake up and choose it, it got beaten into my head after my blue pilled approach to women kept delivering bad relationships.

Society is extremely pro female now, it’s not about equality is about preferential treatment. The red pill is one of the few things today that calls out negative aspects of female nature. It’s a pro male mindset that helps guys understand reality and protect themselves… but people lose their mind if you don’t say women are wonderful and almost every failure in relationships is the man’s fault.
