Like they notice the most basic things - hair color, boob size, whether a woman's wearing a red mini dress etc. while not even acknowledging the kind of stuff women notice and admire about each other - bone structure, complexion, hair structure and thickness, and so on.

I actually have a skinny, Goth male friend who's well groomed, wears foundation, has a Monroe-ish haircut and gets hit on frequently. The men who frequent the bar he works in laugh at him when he tells them he has no issue with dating, because they didn't think a "pretty boy" would ever get women. To top all of it, he's actually pretty insecure when it comes to social situations so it's mostly the women making the first move. I’m an architect and i always found this confusing. A higher percentage of architecture students are female, depending on the nature of the university of course (technical vs normal) and women have no less good perception of space. Not gonna lie, my boyfriend is a pretty bad dresser but I can work on that. He just doesn’t ever buy clothes for himself and has pretty...interesting... taste. That said, I can walk around with no makeup on and looking kinda rough from a night of partying and he makes me feel like the sexiest woman on the planet. I will take the bad clothes for now, he is super good to me in every way. There’s hope with the clothes, I’ve gotten him some and he likes everything I buy him. Not so much hope with overweight guys who don’t have a clue about skincare or good diet. He cares about his body and does push ups randomly throughout the day and works out. He takes pride in his physical fitness. He also eats very well which is really important to me. I don’t get men who do nothing to look good yet think they can land a hot woman. Blows my mind.

Funny enough, I've seen ugly guys with poor hygiene suddenly come out as gay, and there's a complete transformation. Because men know other men care about looks and hygiene and if you want the hottest guy to sleep with you then you need to lose weight, get a hair cut, and get some flattering clothes. If I tell a straight guy to do that for female attention he's like "No, I want a woman who likes me for who I am." Because women are naturally assumed to have lower standards.

They lack self awareness also alot of men are super duper boring thats why their clothing is literally one shirt in different colors and pants while women use clothing hairstyles jewelry to express themselves.

Although some black men actually have "drip" which I like. And asian men arent afraid to go for softer boy looks or wear makeup which I admire. But most white men are literally the basic Joe in terms of fashion style. They probably think its gay to care about that when in reality its the opposite.
