In age gap relationships, why is it assumed that the life experience disparity will only be used destructively and not constructively?

I have female cousins, sisters, and to them I always tell the things I wish someone told me, whether it's about studies, fitness, career, or life. To the 11 yo cousin I tell that she must enroll in a contact sport of some sort to build self confidence for she is meek and shy. To the 16 yo cousin who hates Math but want to study economics, I tell her to power through it, Math is a tool and will be a great asset for her in her career in finance/economics field, I also tell her that the best way to get out of her abusive household is to study hard and get a high paying job and become self reliant. To my sisters I tell them whatever I know to help them achieve their career goals.

Why is it assumed that if I date someone younger than me then suddenly I will be a monster who will torment her exclusively while being supportive to everyone else in my life?

I had a comparative epiphany with regards to my previous relationship. I realized that my ex was somewhat either... Lukewarm, or maybe stagnant/comfortable in the relationship, but the effort had declined from her end (whereas it didn't from my end, as if I'm in to someone I'll put as much effort as i possibly can to see them, please them sexually, etc while still sticking to normal decorum like splitting dates based on income, each person driving half way to dates and so on).

Then, after her, the three people I've been with + the one I'm currently seeing now? The enthusiasm from 2 of the 3 + the current one is just eye opening. You can call it NRE or honey moon or novelty or whatever, but i don't remember this kind of positivity from my ex ever.

How much emphasis do yall put on a woman or mans clear enthusiasm? Not just in the bedroom either but like clearing their busy schedule to see you, wanting to do random things if you're both free, willing to try new things (in our case drugs and sex things lol but if you're not into drugs or kink then idk, fucking skydiving i don't care), them offering to pay the full amount every time if you're dating a woman, etc.

I've done a lot of thinking recently about sex and relationships and I've come to what is a rather obvious conclusion for most. I want to have sex with hot girls. But then I think about all the work that's involved with that--time, energy, money, effort, etc--and it straight up isn't worth it.

That helped me understand something; it was a lightbulb moment. This is why so many men are turning to porn. Because of how easy it is. Because there's no effort. There's no financial obligation. You don't have to put up with a woman's stupid bullshit problem as she drones on about how her stupid feelings were hurt when her best friend didn't invite her to that one night out with this other girl or any of that nonsense.

It's also why I think guys are embracing sugar dating. When you are a sugar daddy, you pay a flat fee, and in return you get a girl looking her best (heels, dresses, make up), acting her best (no stupid drama), and having lots of steamy, wild sex with you (no starfish).

I'm not condoning the mass use of pornography, it has problems, nor do I think sugar dating is morally upright, but I don't think society has figured out how to convince men to not engage in such behaviors. Those two and more "alternatives" are winning.

I read a book a woman wrote about her husband who has Asperger’s and the interesting thing is it was never a problem until after they got married.

It's sometimes so weird to talk about salaries. I have some friends (4 in total) who work in the same industry (but at other companies) and we talk about salaries just so we know we get competitive offers, but other than that salaries are pretty much "confidential".

When I finished college, I was part of a more diverse group ("diverse" in relation to our chosen careers) of people and we discussed salaries when we got our first jobs (we were just starting so we were all getting around the same money). We still discussed salaries within the first few years of our careers, but once large differences started to appear (mainly due to differences in average salaries for different fields), such discussions simply stopped happening. I think it was part because those who were getting larger salaries were afraid of being perceived as bragging and those who were getting smaller salaries would be perceived as "not good enough"; this is just my speculation on the reason, but the fact does remain that we stopped talking about actual numbers when talking about salaries. We still say stuff like "i got a promotion/new job with a pretty good pay increase", but again, no actual numbers.

So is “taking time to work on yourself before dating” actually good advice or is that some bullshit that bloopers tell undesirable men? Because I have no idea what that’s supposed to mean. I tried and tried to improve my mental health and social skills and got nowhere and just ended up miserable and lonely again.

Hating women is fucking exhausting and it's such a long road to recovery from it. I don't and rarely does any man in my position violently hate them I just envy their early in life dating advantage they get if they are the least bit attractive

II'm dead serious when I say my disdain for them is more mentally exhausting just thinking about it than any of my male friendships ever have been since say early high school.

It's like I'm doing 12 step to recover from this shit. Just now getting over the first step of "it's not entirely their fault they are like this, society and life outside their control forms everyone's personality" while addressing the fact my *harder than average life has made me the cynical pessimistic unlikable person I myself am.

I'm proud of what gains I've made without a therapist none the less

I have been looking into the Wakesha attack as I have friends that live there and I was worried their daughter might be one of the victims (she wasn't).

And I'm going to make a prediction.

The driver isn't white. This isn't based on anything but the news coverage which never mentioned anything about the suspects appearance. Many people had to have seen him and there isn't even a mention of a glance look in the news. Years ago they stopped mentioning race since it was a "bad look", even if the suspects were at large. I loved how they would say "A 6 foot tall man wearing a red shirt and jeans" but couldn't mention skin tone which I assume narrows it down more than jeans.

I'm fully going to own this if I'm wrong, it just seems weird NOWHERE can I find a description at all.
