Note: A lot of this is based on observation. My primary subject is the Young adult age group, not "Post-Wall" women or older men. Please take that into account when reading this post

One concept that I hear often here is the concept of an "invisible man". This is a man who will never receive romantic attention in their life, and who will never be seen as "attractive". I am not here to deny that because it does happen. People will suffer issues like this.

But One thing I often don't see here is the "invisible women." One might argue that this is not true, that all women could simply ask for romantic attention, or that they need to lower their standards.

I strongly disagree on these points. One example I would like to bring up Is the women in gaming. Now, it is true that women in gaming do get hit on, however, this is becoming less in this age, as more and more women feel comfortable joining these spaces. Some of these women are fully accepted as part of the guys, but it's almost as if joining these guys makes them "unattractive" to men. Like, I watched a woman(In my 40k group) pine for a year for a man(also in 40k, ironically) who doesn't even look her way. If there was a word for a female simp, it would be her. Funnily enough, both of these people complain about being "invisible."

This is but one example of the "invisible woman". There are also women with mental disorders, women who went roughly through puberty, or even just lost on the genetic lottery.

And for those that say "They just need to self improve", they do. Some of them put on make-up, Others work to lose weight, and others try different clothing, yet many have resigned themselves to being alone.

In my environment, these women exist almost just as often as the same type of women

Why don't we see talk or discussions regarding them? Why in discussions about dating, are these women often sidelined in the discussion?
