I know a guy that’s past his prime but was a Chad in his day. It’s funny how he perceives things. Almost anything a girl does he sees as a sign of interest. Looks like my younger brother, his soon-to-be wife, my parents and her parents finally come to agreement regarding bride price. The problem was that my parents wanted to pay, but the bride and her family would not accept it (they are socially progressive), while my brother was ok with whatever.

So, the bride price is going to be around 100k USD. And this will be given during the wedding ceremony. But it will be returned afterward. This way, my parents won’t “lose face” or appear cheap and her parents would not be offended. The bride is not too happy about it but she is willing to compromise to keep a peace.

Hotness: comes from body. Does sexually arouse me if it passes a bare minimum threshold up to intense desire if it's good.

To me a headscarf or a hijab will always be a symbol of female opression. My parents who are conservative to western standards migrated from Iran when they got the chance and never looked back since.
