An update to my firewood woes. The man cut a deal to buy two dumptruck loads of slab processed to stove length for $340. That's the equivalent of about 25 hours of work at my pay rate, making it a good deal as I couldn't cut and split that much wood in 25 hours! What's 'touchy' about this subject? Yes the gender ratios are skewed, that's well known- women are much more likely to relocate in pursuit of education and jobs.

This isn't about rural Swedish men either, it's about a particular group of them, and it's largely plain exploitation. These are socially maladapted, lonely, often misogynistic and rather creepy guys, who just want someone to fuck and do chores for them. Most aren't in it for love, they're not remotely interested in anything resembling an actual fair or normal relationship between equals. Often they can barely communicate with each other, and the men hold all the cards; it's their country, they speak the language, they own the home, have the money, they control everything, and some keep these women almost as slaves. I've spoken to one who was barely ever allowed to even leave the apartment, and not allowed to have her own friends, or her own life. If they divorce, women who haven't gained citizenship risk getting sent back to poverty. Even in the best of cases, even if they really love each other and the man's a nice guy, there's no escaping that inequal power balance. If someone doesn't even see the problem with it, it speaks volumes about their attitudes on women's role in relationships should be.

Now, it's of course too simplistic just to view the women here as victims. No doubt many knew what they were getting into, I'm sure many are happy with their situations. They tend to be quite entrepreneurial (as evinced by the large amount of Thai restaurants and food shops around now).

I see no "men's rights" issue here. Just because these guys feel sorry for themselves doesn't make them victims. Nobody's entitled to a partner, much less a domestic servant. These guys are staying in rural areas by choice. They have just as much opportunity to move as the women do, they just don't use it as much.

Went to a cockfight a few days ago. Was in the same venue where "Thrilla in Manila" took places all those years ago.

It was a pretty big event, its going on for like a week, and the day I went there was over 100 matches. After things warmed up, it was like a conveyor belt of death. If you dont know much about cockfights, they put knives on the roosters leg. A big portion of the time the roosters die in the fights.

Could you imagine being broke and homeless your entire life to the point you couldn't even get a Christmas present and being so sad to the point you even considered unaliving yourself but you kept going? Then one day on the other side of 30 years old you managed to hit the lottery, what do you do? You're gonna think about those hard times you were broke and now you have the ability to purchase whatever you want, right?

This same analogy will apply when you struggled to get women all your life, and then one day when you hit your mid 30's the door gets kicked down by women who desire men like you. But every now and then, random non-PPD people will find their way into this sub and really solidified to me just how “Bluepilled” the average person actually is. Something as incredibly simple as “Women like muscles” is met with hostility.
