As much as I generally would find myself uncomfortable around most red-pillers in day-to-day life, there are a lot of massively underrepresented problems for dating in the modern world - especially for men - and they're just swept under the rug. It's amazing to me how many spaces are very gendered that shouldn't be, such as bars or public events. It's also very difficult to talk to strangers in some parts of the world. A lot of advice on how to meet women for men who are chronically single is just circular in logic and doesn't really work, and it's largely the red pill folks who are the loudest about this. Wanna meet women to date? Go get a hobby where you might find women. Oh, but also don't appear like you're looking to date when you're doing your hobby because that's wrong.

I think that there's a glut of young men, and a lack of young women. I think dating apps, despite what young women will say about hating them, are absolutely here to stay because it takes all the actual work out of dating for women who see even a modicum of success on them. They never have to go out, dress nice, and try to attract a stranger. It leads to a lot of spaces becoming very male-dominated for men trying to find a community of people who will set them up with friends, or they'll organically meet women in. Of my female friends, damn near none of them are single. Of my male friends, most of them are. The women met their guys in college or on apps, by and large. The men aren't even meeting women their age with any regularity because... There just aren't that many young women out and about in spaces where it's low-risk and acceptable to approach, and it's risky to date a coworker.

I think that women aren't as monolithic in their reprehensible behavior as many think on here, but the dating landscape is very much fucked for young guys, and women are largely oblivious to it.

Some men get attracted at a slow pace, and/or only after a friendship is established. They also don't get attracted to the majority of women, for that matter.
It doesn't mean that they're being manipulative or have ulterior motives, it's that they're in a place where they feel emotionally really connected with her, and they can let down their guards. In this process, feelings begin to grow.
If she refuses or declines, he has to accept it and be respectful of her choice, but at the same time, she has to understand not all friendships stay in the same place, that nothing is wrong with him (again, provided he is respectful), and that incompatibility is an understandable reason to part ways.
Some friendships grow, some wither and die, it is what it is. Some can remain friends, others need distance (either temporarily or permanently). Some don't want to make things awkward for both of them. The world is made of changes, and so it happens to friendships as well. They don't remain static or frozen in an ideal state.
You can't hold a friendship or a relationship hostage. By which I mean: if the other person wants or even feels the need to go away (either for a while or permanently) to move on, and not interact with the person they have feelings for, they have the right to do so.

The vast majority of good dating advice doesn't need to be gendered. But it does tend to make the advice more heard.
What works for getting laid and what works for a happy LTR are often different and even contradictory. Pick a lane.
Generally our looks deteriorate as we get older, it's a depreciating asset. Increasing effort in your appearance also has diminishing returns. Going significantly beyond general standards and basic upkeep is effort and money usually better spent elsewhere, in the long run.

Men want (in general) the same thing that women want (in general) in a relationship: someone who will love them. There's lots of talk about how men want a house maid they can fuck and women want a personal ATM, but I don't think that's true for the majority. At least not in my experience, both personally and professionally.

My other one is that men's mental health is taken seriously, at least it is now. I work for a very large mental health service and men's mental health is something we focus on often. We've given training to employers on how to talk to their male employees about mental health. About 50% of our client base is men. I've also never heard a woman (or man for that matter) in real life say that men's mental health doesn't matter. I'm sure it does get said, in the same way people say a lot stupid shit, but it's not a viewpoint that is held by the majority.

I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like being in a happy long term monogamous relationship is an unachievable goal for 99% of people. Almost always one of the partners will get bored, annoyed, become toxic and/or cheat. People in long term relationships will often say stuff like "it takes a lot of work", which to me just sounds like you're forcing the relationship to exist past the point where it's enjoyable.

We shouldn't believe people are telling the truth by default if there's something at stake. Turns out, people are inclined to lie, sometimes for no clear reason. The show House MD is almost entirely centered around how people lie to their *doctors*, let alone friends, strangers, judges, police officers. Yeah, it's a show, but the point still stands.

Most of the problems that we care about politically in the USA at least are a *direct* consequence of the messed up dating culture we have. You don't like gun violence? Men raised by single mothers are 20x more likely to participate in violent crime. You don't like rape? Men raised by single mothers are 80% of perpetrators. You don't like OnlyFans? It only exists because dating is so fucked up now that so many women prefer trying to pay rent by selling pictures to anyone with five bucks, and even more men try to satisfy their desire for intimacy with parasocial relationships. Half of families are now broken by divorce, which has a serious impact on mental health for children, male and female. Most of those divorces are initiated by women, and rarely because of abuse or similar, so we need to be holding women accountable for the men that they're choosing and then bailing on. One of the two is a bad decision on her part. You don't like abortion? Well our dating culture promotes casual sex. Sex is not a casual thing, and treating it as such is how we get so many elective abortions. War and economic issues? Well a lot of how our politicians get away with their nonsense is by appealing to the abortion issue, so see above.

People on both sides of the aisle routinely objectify both sexes, just in different ways. We way overcount the man to woman version, and almost entirely discount the other directions that objectification can go.

We need to entirely eliminate alimony, except for *rare* exceptions, like a partner abandoning the other because they got into an accident that left them unable to work. I don't care how much income disparity there is, if you leave the person, you leave what they provide, full stop. You can apply for unemployment if you decided to bail without an exit plan.

Both men and women need to stop enabling the worst behavior in the other side. Stop giving women free shit and validation. Stop opening your legs for men who wouldn't make a good father or husband.

I’ve long stated that hypergamy (women wanting to marry up) is nothing new. When I first started mentioning that here, it was very unpopular, but more people now agree with me.

While I believe there are definitely some inequities in dating, I believe people need to do more about understanding and better acting on what is under their control. Simply complaining won’t improve anyone’s dating prospects or dating related issues. Many don’t want to hear they need to change to see improvement, they’d rather just complain.

I’ve definitely been slammed for speaking up against discrimination, especially discrimination against men. If for example I say in an education sub that accused college men deserve due process procedures, I get jumped on, it’s definitely an unpopular opinion in education circles at least.

— Stating that it’s a good idea to keep hot for your man is NOT misogynistic. Women do not have to let themselves go during long term relationships, in fact this is a very bad idea to maintain attraction. You should keep up the same beauty, diet and exercise routines you did before.

I know that men let themselves go too but I don’t feel like they’re as enabled as women. The amount of people who have jokingly told myself to let myself go a ton after marriage is kind of nuts honestly.

— Women should split on dates, if they have jobs and are not traditional.

— If a woman earns 150-400 k then she needs to consider dating men that earn less.

— If a woman has casual sex with you it’s not the ultimate proof that she is the most attracted to you. This idea is very overrated in the manosphere. It is not a bad idea to have traits of a good boyfriend/husband either.

— If men were 100% dominant or “alpha” they would never have any meaningful relationships and probably die alone. Just look up what it means to be an “alpha male”. A mentally healthy man who people can actually rely on is a mixture of traits considered “alpha” and “beta”. People on here put way too much stock in being “alpha”. A lot of extreme “alpha males” have lives that in reality are not enviable.

— 30 is not the wall. 30 is way too young to be considered post wall. I could concede that maybe, it’s the very start of ageing, but women don’t begin to truly feel invisible to men typically until they’re in their mid 40s.

I don’t support domestic violence whatsoever as a man. I’ve been raised never to hit a woman, and I’ve stood firm on that despite having been physically assaulted by women a couple points in my life.

I want to be a father one day, and be the father I never had. My dad wasn’t around that much growing up, then when he did try it was usually half assed. That being said, I wanna be the best father I can be to my son or daughter in the future. Nothing will keep me from loving them.

I say all this to say, if you , as a woman , have or are currently lying to the birth certificate signer that he is the father of your children when he’s really not, then aside from actual murder, I’m not gonna be too upset at whatever happens to you if he finds out.

It takes a certain level of deceptiveness, selfishness, and just overall disgusting character to lie to a man about him being the father. What a trashy human being. The cheating part? Honestly I couldn’t care less. You cheat? Whatever, find a new person. The shit happens. Sucks of course but that’s easy to walk away from. But ripping me away from the child I’ve grown to love as my own for 1, 3, 5, maybe 10 years old? And walking away from them? I’m sorry, I really do not mean to offend anybody , especially women, but you’re not leaving without a black eye or a dislocated jaw. You’re gonna learn to never do that to a man again, because some men do NOT play about their kids.

Maybe it's because of my background, but I believe you should not have sex during the dating phase. Once you're in a relationship, you should still wait a little bit and then do it. At the beginning it's more important to really get to know each other. Also, once you have done it, I don't think it's necessarily a good idea to try everything from a to z immediately. It's like a new pair of sneakers. Don't wear them all the time immediately, they get old very fast and you lose interest until you want something new.

Men should initiate dates, asking out in the beginning stages of courtship. Women shouldn't be passive completely and should show interest of course. But they shouldn't initiate. Most men will lead on a woman who asks him out even if he doesn't like her, or only likes her a tad. Women are less likely to do that (I know some do but nowhere near the level an average man would given the option). In my 35 years of existence and countless relationships I've observed, I've never seen a reciprocal LTR occur from a woman repeatedly initiating during the initial dating phase. This doesn't eliminate Women being used of course but it does cut down on it dramatically.

My unpopular opinion is that there's nothing wrong with being a masculine woman.i myself am a masculine woman, wlw and feminist. I don't get the whole woman should embrace their divine feminine, and what the femininity gurus are pushing. I think woman should just embrace their true, authentic selves. I honestly am proud and happy with who I am. I think a lot of what's being pushed right now is very silly. The whole tradfem/tradwives trend is something I cannot relate with. I am a celibate, single woman, and plan to stay that way. I think that the whole red pill ideology is for men who either have low emotional intelligence and/or who don't like women's equality. I honestly think the red pill and manosphere are toxic and borderline misogynist, just from what I've been seeing online. If you think career women, and masculine woman are failures as women, I think that's rather silly.

Another unpopular opinion I have is that many women lack a strong self-preservation instinct. There's many women who support conservative ideology until it bites them in the @ss, like Lauren Southern, for example. I also side eye women, who are sexist and male aligned in their outlook and who are anti feminist.

they keep complaining how hard it is but even if they got in a relationship, there's a high chance they'll be toxic and insecure and not fully understand how relationships should work because of lack of experience while their partner would see the red flags.

so i don't think most of these men are ready for relationships even if they think they are and they should work on themselves to a point they don't need to complain about their lack of success because the more you do nothing but complain the more harder it's gonna be to find a relationship yet maintain one.

I think women should be banned from using the Internet.

I genuinely believe that banning women from the Internet altogether would clear up so many different forms of cultural rot that the world is experiencing. Thirst trapping? Gone. Dating apps? Gone. Bullshit marketed towards women. Gone. Women having basically unlimited dating prospects at their disposal at all times and enjoying a hyper inflated sense of self worth? Gone.

Making fatherhood "opt-in" (i.e. the biological father must voluntarily and explicitly assume legal paternity) is the only perfectly fair system. Legal Paternal Surrender, which treats legal paternity as a default which must be opted out of, doesn't go far enough. That said, I recognize LPS is more politically palatable, and I strongly believe in birth control and elective abortion up until the end of the 20th week of gestation. Also, I'd tie men's right to choose to women's equivalent right - that would harmonize the interests of both men and women.

A lot of the manosphere's nasty rhetoric causes zero social harm and serves a therapeutic purpose for men with legitimate grievances. There are undesirable extremes, true, but the scope of the potential threat is orders of magnitude smaller than the social harms that Jihadism and Wokeism are causing.

The women's movement, both today and for much of its history (with the exception of classical liberal and individualist feminisms) - is really just the expression of the female lizard brain's most self-serving instincts (we might call it toxic femininity) and feminist theory serves as a post-hoc rationalization for said instincts.

Expecting your man to die for you is just as reasonable as your man expecting intimacy from you. And im not saying either is unreasonable.
The majority of people that "hate all men" or "hate all women" exist almost exclusively online or in lame towns very far from you, and don't accurately represent the people you'll encounter in real life.
I don't think paternal dna tests should necessarily be mandatory, but i also dont think men should have to pay child support unless a dna test proves he's the father.
The existence and use of make-up and other beauty products skews the societal perception of how attractive women are on average. Typically people would view the average women as better looking than the average man, but if you take away these products, we would all be a lot more evened out. Alternatively, if men started using make-up they would look better on average.
Average women deserve average men and vice-versa.

Bringing women into the workforce has been a mistake. This isn’t because they’re women but the idea of “we want the option to work” has become you HAVE to no matter what because you double the supply of labor so you get paid half the value, as such unless you have 2 incomes you can’t afford a home or a family, as such now both men and women are forced to work and we’re all stuck in the death of a salesman instead of half of us

regarding hypergamy I see far more relationships where the woman is more conventionally attractive than vice versa
men who want to improve their looks should look into makeup/skincare. I’m not saying use bright red lipstick but a bit of concealer can do wonders if you’re having a bad skin day.

That most people don't want a partnership that is equal but want someone to serve them or to rule over.

So in short most people don't deserve a relationship or love.

Cause they demand people to jump true all kinds of hoops but are often not willing to do the same.

And think that to often people in ex-relationships use children as weapons to hurt their partners while they hurt their children just as much or more even by doing that. And yelling think about the children.

Those 2 things are sadly unpopular to say and would hurt many people's feelings.

But the simple fact often the closest people you were the most intimate and close with might end up trying to hurt you the most. And that counts on all sides man or women. Cause no one is as hate filled as a lover that feels wronged in some way even if its just or unjust. As long as it's real to them. It can often go very very far sadly.

Women are better of keeping tabs on select men and monitoring their behaviour without the onus of a relationships to vet men, over time.

When you figured out who is who in the zoo, it's your job to endear yourself to him, if that means a pickmeisha so be it.

These type of men aren't going to hand it over to you in a platter.

Yes, some of us are more than capable but we aren't giving you that until WE vet you, when you start to weaponise your sexuality it works against you with these types of men.

Sex work is totally fine as long as it's consented to. Everyone should be allowed to do sex work if they want to without being judged for. They are providing a service. And it shouldn't reflect negative on life or future employment or anything. It's a job.
