Growing a beard is usually a strategy to hide weak facial structure. You sure as hell know they’re hiding their no neck, double chin and lack of forward growth under it.

The last guy I was seeing very briefly would always pull this face in photos and it was so unattractive I once said "why can't you just act normally when we take a photo?" and he was so confused and said I'd hurt his feelings 😂 I said "well why do you put your eyebrow up and pull a duck face? Okay to me, a beard always says “my girlfriend/wife’s comfort is not important to me” because anytime they kiss, she has to touch his scratchy hair facial hair. It has always been an automatic thing for me, before I figured out why, to the point that I don’t see men with beards as options. Stubble is fine. Well-groomed beards that are slightly longer than stubble are fine. But these things? Most women work so hard to keep our skin soft and healthy. Why would we want to regularly expose our facial skin to that?

Personally, I hate beards; I never think men look good in them and too many men think beard=personality. I especially hate those long, ratty lumberjack things that are popular now. They are ugly, and they look like they smell. In addition, around here, most dudes who grow that shit tend to be Trump-humping assholes.

Because of this, I have gradually come to be wary of men with beards because they so often think it's something special that I should find so manly and impressive and they get really defensive and obnoxious when they find out you don't like them.
