As far as im aware: -He was a dead beat dad and husband. -Wrapped partial truths in an anger heartbroken pilled men could get behind -Advocated for men to indulge in their more basic nature, which is neither good for the individual or the community -Did his best to convince as many women to devalue themseleves and reduce their standards so more men, who didn't want to have to work and measure up, could access them, whilst also telling men to work towards traits that women don't value as highly as men do.

In the end there were worse people in the world but few of them did the amount of damage he did both to men and women and therefore the community.

It seemed like he was just projecting his own situation onto women. He was 56 and alone. Apparently divorced twice, with a kid who he never saw, and resorted to fucking hookers. All while drinking copious quantities of alcohol, energy drinks and doing hard drugs. Doesn't sound like the life of a high value male to me.

He had some good advice for sure, I don’t think I agreed 100 percent with everything he has said but maybe most of it. Of course, anyone who is celebrating his death are wrong to do so.

I am a black woman, dating in the black community. I’ve watched Kevin Samuels and I feel somewhat familiar with the degree of pathology of our community so I feel comfortable saying some of what I think.

First of all, while Kevin Samuels may have had some valuable advice, he is also guilty of using the pain of black women for clout and gain.

I won’t sugarcoat it at all. Things are really really bad in the black community. As a woman dating here, to say I’m unimpressed with the quality of black men there to date is an understatement. Black women outnumber black men starting in our adolescence and moving onwards. This is because a large percentage of black men have been to jail, or are unmarried fathers or(and this is rarely spoken of), dead of gun violence. I studied in a hospital and the amount of bullets I saw pulled out of young black men over horribly idiotic things(fighting for clout, about girls, drugs) made me never want to do critical care medicine. Whenever my brother is late getting home, I get a lump in my throat and generally won’t sleep until he gets back. Our loss is extreme. When a society loses it’s men, we lose the people who are supposed to protect us, provide for us and guide the next generation. When I went to an African country(vague to protect my identity a bit), you know what shocked me the most? What it was like to see all the living black men around. Alive and free.

The mores in the culture have broken down. My boyfriend and I speak about this all the time. In white culture, there is an expectation. You date a woman, go steady, fall in love, become exclusive and get married. In the black community sex does not mean marriage, childbearing is divorced from commitment. Fatherhood does not mean sacrifice. And the children suffer unbelievably. Imagine being a child and growing up with no father in the house, only a single mother with a succession of stepfathers after stepfathers, all who abuse you in some way. My boyfriend needs to go back to his great grandfathers generation to see what an intact marriage looks like as his parents and grandparents were unmarried having kids out of wedlock. Without marriages in the community, both men and women aren’t socialized as to how to live with each other. In order for marriage and a relationship to work, there has to be trust. The woman has to trust the man and believe he loves her and won’t leave her. That she can let the reins go and allow him to be her husband and strength. How can she do this if her father wasn’t there for her? Her stepfather abused her and her boyfriends all beat her? She can’t. And without this the marriage doesn’t work. The man on the other hand has to know how to be a man, he has to know how to provide and protect her. Love her without making her feel suffocated and do the boring work of marriage which is loving the same woman day after day, month after month and never straying or leaving from her. But with no fathers around men have no idea how to be men.

There is not enough shaming of black men in black culture. A story I always bring up is a man I was dating online. He had three kids by three different women on a salary of a someone who works in a customer service position, and his answer to this situation was not to marry any of the women he had sex with. Not to focus on being their for his children. Not to pay child support. But to hop online,looking for a fourth woman(me) to date. Why does he think this is acceptable and not shameful? Why does he feel that it’s ok to abandon his responsibilities as a man and a father to look for pussy elsewhere? Because In the black community, little is expected of men.

We, as black women, are constantly blamed for our situation, but no one understands that there aren’t the black men around(desirable, not fat,unmarried, college educated, makes at least 5 figures) for us to date. The average looking black woman struggles to find love as men in our community are spoiled for choice and options. They do not commit.

To finally find a man who wanted to commit to me, I did as Kevin Samuels requested of most black woman, I accepted that I am a three or four at best in attractiveness and I dated down. I’m 29 and not getting any younger and can’t afford to wait more . But even though my guy is kind and treats me well, I am not that happy with him. I have a professional degree ( not in gender studies but in healthcare, think like a preprofessional degree), he did not go to college. I waited for years and am holding out for commitment before sex, he can’t remember the amount of girls he has slept with. I am ten years younger which makes me very sad. I’ve never gotten so much as a speeding ticket and I can tell he might have had some run ins with the law. I adore and am so close to my family. He doesn’t talk to his. By the time I finish my degree, I will make 2x if not more than him. He is an atheist and I’m a Christian who tithes 10% of my income. He is kind and generous and shares my core moral values and understands the value of commitment. But each time I look at him, I feel disappointed because even though I care for him deeply, I feel like I’m getting the worse end of the bargain.

My friends don’t understand because they think that for average black women there are so many men out there. That I could find a doctor or a lawyer who wanted to commit. The truth is I can’t and I haven’t.

Dating down is not the panacea KS thinks it is and black men have contributed to 60% of the dysfunction in our community. I have to go to work, but, more later.

This question isn’t really for me since I don’t know who this is, but celebrating someone’s death is pretty gross, whatever they lived their life like.

That being said the descriptions posted here make him seem like a rage bait scammer, which is generally pretty cringey to anyone outside of said scammers particular little bubble. I guess people who cared about his content while he was making it will care he’s not going to be any more. The rest will not know or not care. I don’t think there is much of a legacy to consider here.

I think he was the equivalent of Hitler and it’s unfortunate that there are so many people sympathizing with this 3rd reich pos that essentially advocated for sexual abuse against children, domestic violence against women and encouraged the devolution of women’s rights to better aide incels in finding partners that they otherwise would never find because they are mentally, psychologically and psychically incapable of doing so. It seems way too much to call his little slap-fest podcast a "legacy", lol. I think he'll be forgotten pretty quickly-- most things are.

I found him very cringy. Like this old, cringy, and sexist uncle that expects women to serve him during family events. I didn't agree with anything he said, but I watched him for my own entertainment, just like I watch "My 600-pound life" for the same reason.

I don't celebrate his death but I don't care about it. It didn't create any emotions on my part, he could be alive for all I care. Maybe I will miss watching his show for weekly cringe, but I guess I have 21 studios and fresh and fit for that.

I never found KS to be the problem, it’s his followers who misconstrue his messages that are. KS says some wild shit and I don’t particularly like his treatment or how he talks about black women specifically. But other than that he has good points. What I like about him over all these TRP and FDS losers is that he talks about accountability for BOTH people. He doesn’t advocate entitlement at all. One of my favorite particular talks of his was Jeannie Mai being submissive to her husband. If the man leads and provides the space to do so, I see no issues with submitting to him. I think he wants success for both people tbh.

The legacy he left, imo is pretty pitiful. His daughter did an IG live describing how he would bang her head into the car. His family came out saying there were no savings in his bank accounts. The police came out and said the apartment he lived in was leased under someone else's name. He didn't remarry. I mean... he just didn't seem to live what he preached. At all. And he knew it because he had a few episodes and interviews where he admits he was not a good dude. He's just... ew to me.

And yes, when I saw the thick woman he slept with before he died, I busted out laughing. The man who chastised his male audience for sleeping with fat women died on one.

I was extremely sad. I absolutely loved Kevin. I said this in another thread but I have a father who is extremely cutthroat like Kevin. My dad is from the Caribbean where traditional values and “patriarchy” are much more prevalent. So I was raised to value men in a way that most western women just aren’t. My feminist friends even cut me out of their lives because I wouldn’t join their misandrist brigade.

I will seriously miss his videos. I loved watching him stand up to the chameleons and toxic women out there, kinda felt like he was talking to some women in my family. I’m related to a few who really (unfortunately) fit all the negative stereotypes he addresses.
