What people deserve doesnt come into it. Everyone is entitled to basic kindness and decency. That's it. It's not a waste of youth if they had fun or did what was good for them. Youth is wasted only if you were unhappy during it or unhappy with your choices.

If women prefer to "throw themselves at high value men" and remain single instead of with someone they wanted less then it's not "wasted". That's just a decision they made and it's up to them to decide if it was worth it or not.

Personally would prefer singlehood to "settling" but that's just me.

Values and sexual ethics are inverted because hookup culture changed the goal posts for everyone.

A man used to be expected to prove he was from a good background, could provide, and was respected in order to marry. This is still the case in several countries that prohibit sex outside of marriage, where the stigma exists, like the middle east.

In the past, we were like that, too, in westernized countries. Sex and procreation was for marriage. Women spent time learning to be domestic to prepare for it. Not anymore.

There are few incentives to prepare for marriage, and more incentives to get sexual needs met with OLD or through several LTRs.

Men are obviously angry with western women because they seem "entitled and self-absorbed," but it's really because values have changed overall. The goal posts have changed completely, and men support this 100% because they support hookup culture themselves.

The drawback is men online are aware if a woman wants the attention of one or several men, she will spend time doing just that. Browsing and dating whenever and whoever she wants - choosing to ignore whoever she wants.

Men also have few incentives to control themselves, to marry, to procreate, or to even consider the interests of women. Red pill and MGTOW are great examples.

Why? Because they can pump and dump, all day long, live alone, and also get their base needs met other ways. There's no male competition to have a wife or family.

"Chad" types pursue above average, as well as average women all the time. Although they may have higher personality standards for the average women, it's rare that they are only dating 10s. Men tend to be much more flexible with their sexuality. That being said, most women are not actively pursuing men. The opposite is happening. Men are pursuing average women and not being completely forthright about their intentions. This is a man vs man issue, not a man vs woman issue, in my opinion. I once met a man who was 6'3'', college athlete, engineer, and his exes were all "below" him in my opinion - they were smart, accomplished women who were kind, but not really the best lookers (his type I think). Especially for guys who value personality, they're not just going to settle with any hot girl

The truth is, you don't actually want to be settled for. Not really. It's a heartbreaking experience. Do you want a dead bedroom? Because that's how you get a dead bedroom. I agree with the message but finding a good enough partner (for both men and women) is also heavily dependant on 'luck' and approaching.

I hate to admit it cause I'm sometimes a bit shy and introverted but most guys who find a good enough woman did so when socializing a lot and being in the right place at the right moment.

If you are high quality, no matter your gender, you'll eventually find someone good enough unless you live isolated from civilization. If you are average-ish or even slightly below, it's gonna take a lot of active work, not necessarily bettering yourself but a different sense, work on socializing and meeting people so it takes months or a few years instead of taking ages or never happening.

I'd also add that relatively financially stable women have not much interest on dating a 'good man' and would rather 'waste' their youth and time with a guy they are attracted to and have fun with, even if he ends up cheating, taking her for granted or using her as FWB.

Different stages of life (motherhood for instance) may make her regret her decissions and end up 'bitter' but honestly, I'm sure they'd do it again or just lower the standard a tiny bit.

I personally know an ex cheerleader hot looking 'milf' (insanely high value before) who confessed that to me, that she regrets marrying her cheating Ex and should've married one of the many good men, and that no matter how attractive he was and all he did for her when the relationship worked, she's still super jealous of all her friends who married the good man. Being early 40's now, she doesn't give a crap about handsome men anymore though she still can't date weirdos or ugly men no matter how 'good' they are. Not sure if blaming them is right, though... I mean, why did her high value prince charming asshole have to cheat on her multiple times? She was good enough, trust me. Besides celebs, the top 10% men I’ve seen are often with just above average women... I think this is either because it’s their childhood sweetheart, or they don’t know their worth (which women make sure to keep this way regarding all men, but that’s for another day).

It’s extremely rare to find a woman who is equal in value to a top 10% man. The top 10% man should technically have access to top models... but doesn’t because of the way the dating market is skewed.. and hypergamy.

The top 10% women applying hypergamy want the top 5% of men.

As such the top 10% Prince Charming often settle for top 15-30%. Yes their looks may even be equal.. but he has money and status that decent women rarely have.

There are all sorts of mental health things that go on when women sleep with men they seem so superior to themselves. It really triggers all sorts of psychological issues and self esteem problems that can impact them for many years. It’s very predictable which women end up like this too based on how their childhoods were, super hyper sexual and wanting to fuck like men when the vast majority of men don’t even participate in the culture like that… and even if they wanted to they have limits when women can sleep with whoever they want and and are the only thing holding themselves back.
