I saw a post on the askmen asking what was the final nail to the coffin for their relationship and most of them said opening up emotionally to their wife. Although it could have been a different reason, or them opening up emotionally was the final trigger after a series of bad events, who knows, they were just self reporting… But emotionally vulnerable people are less likely to be productive (the WHO estimates that over 800 billion dollars are lost due to production mitigations caused by mental illness) and we know that women put a huge premium on a man’s providing ability.
