I’ve looksmaxxed a lot since then but my confidence is so shot. It’s why I hesitate to make moves on woman/approach unless it’s crystal clear she’s into me. Women's answer to the man's dilemma is just ask. They say to just ask early on about her past but they don't realise asking stuff like that comes off the wrong way, it freaks women out, and some men are subconsciously afraid of the answer.

Men's answer to the woman's dilemma is just ask. But you can't just ask a guy early on if he's gonna propose to you, cause they worry it might scare him off, it might give him commitmentphobia, or they are subconsciously afraid they won't get the answer they want.

Lots of women don't find fault in having lots of guys you're attracted to in your youth and then settling down for someone who's less exciting but safe, and he just accepts your past, but you tone down your sexuality and libido with him cause you're just "not into it" anymore. To guys this is cruel and manipulative, they see such a woman as hypocritical, she's having her cake and eating it, she's solipsistic. To women, there is nothing wrong with this behaviour, she's just playing the game to her advantage and using her "freedom" to do what she wants.

Lot's of men don't find fault in keeping a woman around and never proposing to her. He keeps her as a forever girlfriend, has sex with her, maybe even lives with her. But he never proposes to her, even after years, cause he knows she's not the one. Then he finds someone who is the one, and he dumps the first girl and proposes to the new one. To men, there is nothing wrong with this behaviour, he's just playing the game to his advantage. He's not lying or abusing anyone. To women this behaviour is cruel and manipulative.

In both cases, neither party is entitled to control the others future or past. Men can't control what a woman does in her past and women can't control what a man does in his future.

Basically men are afraid of the uncertainty of a woman's past, and women are afraid of the uncertainty of a man's future.

Is this just a bitter nerd/pillosphere way of viewing the one that got away?

I was deeply in love with two men before I met mr Blu. One i was engaged to marry. I won’t go into the details of why both relationships didn’t work out (because we were 17 and 24 respectively at the time which says it all) but I fully admit they were both hard break ups. I grieved, I cried, I questioned myself, I tried quick fixes to get over them. But in the end I healed the only way you can heal from a break up — time. I still care about both of them but do I still love them? No. Do I still feel sexual desire for them? Of course not. I don’t even know how you feel sexual desire for someone who isn’t present in your life.

So tldr I don’t really believe in the one that got away. I think that when people can’t let go of an old love it’s because they either 1) still feel some guilt or bitterness over what happened or how it ended, or 2) they’re afraid of getting hurt again and are basically holding on their memories to avoid moving on to someone else who might eventually hurt them again.

I don’t think I’ve ever been “pumped and dumped.” Have I had sex with a man who I didn’t continue to see anymore? Sure. Was it a life altering experience that stunted my emotional growth and ability to mature and move on? No and lol.

Seems to me that “Chad pumped and dumped her” is more a revenge fantasy than a reality for most women.

Thoughts? I don’t think I’m so unusual so I’d like to hear from other women.

Does any of this resonate with you? Do you have a past relationship you can’t move beyond? Are you still pining away for a guy who used you for sex?

I've seen this from a few red pill men and not only is it incredibly smooth-brained, it also reveals a lot about what type of men red pillers are.

Some more religious/conservative cultures separate men and women quite a lot, but its not like that in most of the west and seems insane to choose it or to want it.

Being friends is just a natural thing if you socialise and know many people. It's not adversarial...I'm not out to get something from every woman or in every interaction...women are fun to hang out with. AND also it's pretty obvious that relationships require people to fit together well and thr pool of women I can be friends with is much larger than the one I can date. The number of red pill guys who seem unable to assess themselves and the women they meet for this is incredible.

But the real kicker is, if you're comfortable being friends with women...you socialise with them, and get to meet more women (their friends), giving you a chance to meet more potential partners! 'Blue pill' = success, lol.

Whenever people debate dating online, especially whenever the topic of height comes up; I wish people would stop misusing the word "preference".

Seemingly no one can tell the difference between a preference and a requirement. It's fine to have both, but I wish people would be honest when they have a requirement in a relationship and try and soften it by saying it's a "preference".

I have a height "preference", I would prefer a girl to be shorter than me but I would (and have in the past) date someone taller than me if I was into them.

If you would turn down someone who is otherwise perfect for you because of some detail about them, then that detail is no longer a preference, it's a requirement.

Again I don't care if you have preferences or requirements, both are fine and everyone has certain requirements and certain preferences. Just don't try and gaslight people by saying you have a preference, when it is in actual fact a requirement.

Today at the gym, when I was on the treadmill, my right calf muscle started to hurt a bit and I decided to get off the machine, I had this in the past and just pushed through it. But this time I'm wondering if that isn't a good idea, does anyone here know what might be causing this? I'm going at a fairly fast walk, no need to jog at this speed, I think so at least, I'm a bit taller so maybe I just have longer legs and can get away with walking haha.

Anyways, I'd like to know if this is a result of overexertion, or if this is simply the muscle in my leg requiring time to heal/recover as I'm effectively training them? Another thing to add is that I don't walk properly, it's because when I learned to walk as a child I didn't learn it properly and my parents never corrected it, so now I really mess up shoe soles quickly, I'm also using a new shoe sole that has like a side life thing, which I will link below. It's a PRECOR brand treadmill on speed 7, if this helps.
