There are men on here who literally can’t comprehend the possibility of women turning down sex with men they find attractive.

It’s like these men are so sex starved that the idea that a woman would turn down something they themselves see like food or water or air is unfathomable to them.

There are plenty of reasons women will turn down sex with an attractive man … social shame/conditioning, moral boundaries, fear of pregnancy/STDs, aversion to the thought of bad sex. I’ve turned down sex before, and I even waited with my current partner.

I find myself lonely frequently, and I think having a gf would help. There have been a number of girls I've been out with who either straight up said or strongly implied that they wanted a relationship, but none of those girls were really LTR material for me (for a variety of reasons). Wu Zetian (624-705)

Maintaining thousands of concubines was not an uncommon practice among Chinese emperors, and China's only empress, Wu Zetian, was no exception.

According to The Old Tang Book, Wu Zetian's most famous concubines were Xue Huaiyi, Zhang Yizhi, Zhang Yizong, and Shen Nanmiu.

At 61 years old, Wu Zetian was introduced (likely by her daughter, through whom she met many of her lovers) to Xue Huaiyi, a young man known for his excellent physique and nicknamed "God of Figure." Xue was a rather ambitious sort, taking on leadership of an invasion of what we now call Turkey as well as several construction projects about the empire. Eventually he grew jealous of Wu Zetian's affairs with other men and deliberately set fire to two courts. He died mysteriously two weeks later.

The man most directly responsible for having upset Xue was Shen Nanmiu. All that is known of him is that he he was a doctor who introduced the empress to new medical procedures related to sex that apparently improved her ability.

The most famous of all of Wu Zetian's concubines were the Zhang brothers, Zhang Yizhi and Zhang Changzong. Also introduced to her via her daughter, Zhang Changzong was characterized as having "a face as beautiful as a lotus flower" while Yizhi was praised for his face and his voice. It's said that many officials in the court, including Wu Zetian's own granddaughter, were killed for speaking ill of the Zhang brothers.

In 698, the empress established an institution called Kong He Jian (directed by the Zhang brothers) for the express purpose of managing her large number of lovers. This institution is probably the single best example of a female leader having a harem in known history. Unfortunately not much more is known about it.

When women hear things from males like: “men are so much more logical and less emotional than women”, “women are more neurotic and childish than men” “men are better leaders than women”. That programs in a woman’s brain that any male who is emotional, neurotic, non assertive is not a real male. Right or wrong, this subliminally registers in the female brain that males who show these traits and characteristics are essentially women. And it takes active, conscious work on the woman’s part to fight this thought process.

Males don’t realize that while they’re putting down women they’re projecting standards on themselves that backfire when they try to be vulnerable.

“Why are women so mean to emotional and vulnerable men?!” Gee I don’t know, we grew up hearing that being emotional, meek, vulnerable, non assertive were traits only the “lesser sex” — women — possess.

You want to put down women for having these traits then you expect women to show empathy to you when you display them.

In this week's disaster, I matched with a big tiddy woman who is only in the city til Jan. Of course I try my best to google the fuck out of any matches that get to the "let's get together" stage.
