It’s is very well known that when it comes to divorces, women are the ones filing for it around 70% of the time. The debate is around why?

IMO, my theory is that it’s because women on average do most of the “admin tasks” work in the household - that includes allocation of utility bills, sending paperwork for medical, social and financial events all year round. Similar to how these admin tasks are mainly left for women in the workplace.

If that is the case, then filing for divorce would be included as part of that household paperwork. Filing for Divorce is a lot of paperwork, so it stands to reason that the person most experienced at doing the admin tasks would take on the bulk of the admin task.

Another theory is that women want to divorce more because they take on a bigger workload in the home, so they are more stressed and miserable with the marriage. But I think my theory is better.
