Women really don't want simps. The way they have ruined the dating market is through inflating the self image of average women.

Attention to women is like currency and its almost worthless coming from simps. But what women do is accumulate that worthless currency from many basic and average men and use it to attempt to "buy" high value men. It's like on Instagram, all of the followers and interaction comes from normal men and when her profile gets to a certain point, she'll slide in the DMs of an athlete. When women get attention and special treatment from simps she'll think she's above them and starting treating them as such. At that point she'll bypass all other men and think she's entitled to the top.

On the flip side attention from HVM is valuable currency what occurs is the opposite of the above and how we get alpha widows. An average woman will get piped down by an athlete and after that, she'll think she can buy any man because she earned the attention of the best. And when you have a large amount of currency, you'll only want to buy the best.

But of course, men don't see your accumulated attention as valuable and that leaves these women in limbo talking about "I know my worth" or "I'm not going to settle".

I think that simps have served to inflate women’s perception of themselves and their true sexual market value into orbit - it’s part of the reason women get into their 40’s now and it only dawns on them the party is over, the casino is closing and they have played their last hand and should have left with their small fortune much earlier. Having boundaries, i.e. not being a simp or a pickme, is for your own benefit, not that of the dating market as a whole. If all men were to suddenly stop simping, the women who were dating them, or allowing them to orbit, aren't suddenly going to step up and put in the effort to become perfect wifey material. They're just going to stay single until the guy they feel is worth making the extra effort for comes along.

Men do the same thing. If no pickmes were willing to be forever girlfriends, the selfish men dating them aren't suddenly going to step up and become HVM to get those same women. They're just going to stay single until the woman that they feel is worth making effort for comes along.
