Depending on exactly what they believe, I wouldn't completely write off someone. I do think good men can become RP after being jaded, same with good women can turn to FDS after being jaded.

That being said, the probability isn't worth it. There are many good natured non-RP guys, there's no reason to try to reform a RP guy just because there's a possibility he might be good.

Nothing. In the same way I'd never date a hard-core Christian, homophobe, pro-lifer, racist etc. We have incompatible beliefs and this incompatibility will cause issues down the road. There are no compromises that could solve it.

Moreover, I'd just not get attracted to one. People I've ever fallen for are people I felt safe with and have respect for, they're kind-hearted, honest folk and I wouldn't use these adjectives for an average TRP guy. TRP advocates for negging and dreading your partner and hold and cold games make me lose any interest. Plus, TRP advocates for men "exercising their options" and I'd never deal with a cheating scum of a partner. If it was my only choice, I'd prefer to stay single.

Assuming all the worst traits they believe are true, that women are gold digging, manipulative narcissists, this is still due to nature of being female- The one who carries the child and the one that has the most to lose. “Divorce rape” is a recent phenomenon and not too long ago, a woman would get no benefit from mating with a partner of low value. I don't think that the red pill necessarily makes people bad, it's just wrong and there's a strong tendency for members of the community to have characteristics I dislike. If someone believed in the red pill as a theory of how relationships generally worked but accepted outliers existed and wasn't personally trying to be masculine/"alpha" (not that it's bad but it's not my taste), was a feminist or feminist ally, wanted an egalitarian relationship, respected my own views and was someone who I'd want to date overall, I'd have no issue. But that's unlikely, and I have characteristics that are unlikely to appeal to red pill men as well.

I won’t even consider r/ExRedPill men and men who are “reformed”, either. They’re not my type, either and they’re blocked on sight.

I can’t have them in my life, and I’m learning everything I can to remove them from it (and prevent new RP men from entering my life).

Here's the problem - the contents and viewpoints of TRP are so convoluted, it's difficult to predict what you're getting into upon meeting a RP guy. There are parts of the TRP that I agree with, but the risk of him being an emotionally unintelligent misogynist seems so high that TRP is usually a non-starter for me.

If I were single, it would probably take getting to know the individual for me to let my guard down. In my experience, the raging misogynists tend to give themselves away pretty quickly. I've met a few RP guys who were respectful and understanding towards women, but still prioritized preserving their masculinity, dignity, and assets - which is totally respectable and honestly, attractive. I would still be on high alert for any red flags or warning signs for abuse, but that's with any guy.

I’ve been on red pill sites, and I was deeply disturbed the entire time. It seemed to be about pretending to care about a woman, but really trying to manipulate them into submission in an attempt to show that it’s really better for them to stay in their lane.

My husband and I are truly equals in our marriage. If I have a problem with him, I bring it up and we try to fix it. If he has a problem with me, he brings it up and we try to fix it. We both have jobs, we both take care of the kids, we both do as much housework as we are capable of doing in a day. It’s almost our 11 year anniversary and we are still very good at communicating, spending time together, and keeping a good sex life too.

So, I’m not in the market anyway, but if I were, I wouldn’t want a man like that. Unless you can tell me I was looking up the wrong info, then you can tell me what it’s really about.

Not all Red Pill beliefs are bad and I’m sure not all men who’d call themselves a “Red Pill Man” (cringe) believes them all either. But, some are highly offensive to me and based on pure sexism with only bitterness and malice at their core. Why you would want to align yourself with the entire philosophy enough to call yourself a “Red Pill Man” instead of just picking what actually works and makes sense and not taking the name, is baffling.

The worst one for me is the accusation that women can only love men as human doings while men love women as human beings. Essentially saying that women are incapable of anything but transactional love, while men love women unconditionally.

It makes women out to be morally bankrupt and essentially whores, while men are chivalrous knights who will love a woman for “who she is” forever (but only if they got her when she’s young, not overweight, not ugly, accepts him as her “leader” in all things, can prove she’s never given another man anything better than what she’s given him, is sexually receptive when he wants, etc, etc). The cognitive dissonance of saying men are unconditional and genuinely loving towards women while they also call them “plates”, the “oldest teenager in the house”, incapable of self reflection, being honest, being accountable - and also saying women are only good for sex and are otherwise a pain or a bore to be in a relationship with - astonishes me.

It’s actually quite funny because the men I’ve seen spout this seem to genuinely believe they are logical and intelligent - but it’s also very sad and potentially a threat to a woman who gets caught up with a man who genuinely believes all this. Because no one can believe all that about half the human race and not also believe that women are inferior beings on all levels that need to be “led” by a man to the right path and and can’t be trusted as independent people…

It’s utterly malicious towards women to think that way and hard to see past if a Red Pill Man agrees with, or doesn’t call out, these beliefs.

I think I had a relationship with a Red Pill Man once. He kept me on as a side piece even when he wasn't in a relationship because he thought that he could find something better. Also made fun of me every time I got involved in any political movements or feminist stuff. Eventually I stopped. He was friends with a lot of women and really salty about how "no woman" would date him and "no woman" would have sex with him. Even when they would he had taken "the pill" a while before and never really gave it up even when women did show interest. I ended up pissing him off when I came on Reddit asking for advice and they said he had a lot of red flags that made them think he was going to kill me so they had me tell my friends what was going on. He was pissed because "my friends" were his friends first and foremost (neither of our faults it's just he's "friends"/friends with all the women in town and... yeah... hard to get a friend's opinion on something when you share friends and not get someone hurt in the process). I'd probably do it again.

If they're taking the self improvement, knowing what their goals are, knowing that yes looks matter and that women can be as shallow as men sure.

The argument is that in many cases you wouldn't know man is rp. However, the way FDS is seen from the outside has softened this a little. I disagree with some of what they say, but it's a message some girls needed to hear. I can see how the group's enemies define it by its most batshit extreme members. I have probably done the same with TRP.

Firstly, that isn’t going to happen because if you’re fucking a bunch of women, I guarantee they aren’t stupid and they’re fucking plenty of guys and you are more interchangeable and replaceable for them than they are for you. Also, I don’t see the problem, but TRP does, are you really going to wife up a woman you’ve been casually fucking who has also been casually fucking your boss and ten other guys hotter and wealthier than you? FDS advocates the same self-improvement strategy, but instead of a view to a cock carousel (to use TRP parlance), it’s because being the best version of yourself is the ultimate reward, not a relationship, not marriage. Self improvement is the ultimate objective. Where FDS fails though, is it has turned into a racist, ageist, ableist echo chamber of half-witted 20 year olds who think the prize is a HVM. No, the prize is you. A HVM is a nice botrytis after the meal, but you are the cake, the icing and the cherry on top.

If TRP dropped the agenda of fucking lots of different women (who the fuck has time for that? It’s propaganda, fellas, it’s not real. No man has the bandwidth for the drama of even one superficial relationship, let alone three), and focussed on self improvement and dating quality women, they would very quickly find a good match who was attractive, self motivated and wanted to commit to marriage in her mid to late 20s.

If FDS dropped the Qween bullshit expecting a man to pay for her hair, nails and makeup and dropped the notion that only tall, wealthy men with big dicks could be HVM, and focussed instead on her career and health, she’d likely find an intelligent, compassionate and self-made man to compliment her path in life.

It’s the shallow nonsense shit both need to drop and then we’d just be able to match them all up and go home from the dance happy.

I've happily been in a relationship for years but if my partner suddenly passed away and I was willing to date again unequivocally no I would not date a red pilled man. We wouldn't share values or morals which is pretty important in a relationship. We wouldn't be compatible fundamentally. I have no interest in marriage or children and I think most red pill men in their ideal world would seek out a tradwife after banging random women through their 20s (again idealized not reality). If they were however successful in living a college sex comedy lifestyle I would be concerned they would have HPV and as it's something you can't test for and could give me cervical cancer that's a no.

I think red pilled men need a therapist who would probably refer them to a psychiatrist who would probably prescribe them meds, not romance. But red pilled men won't do that Sort of putting the horse before the cart, get yourself right, then find love.

I think in the past many people did couple with people that had very different views especially politically and philosophically but now people are understanding that those views have real life implications that says something about a person's morality. It's become a deal breaker.
