This is such a random thought, but in my experience, fat girls are not "easier" than in-shape/thin women; they're about the same. (or if they are "easier", then it's by a slight margin)

IME it almost always seems to be more about her demographic and socioeconomic status; THIS seems to be what makes a lot of difference as to how "easy" she's gonna be.

If you're an in-shape guy and you aren't noticed by in-shape girls, I doubt that fat girls will want you much either. You’ll have roughly the same chances with either group

One of my favorite studies cited in the book Evolution of Desire was where female participants were split into two groups and shown different pictures. One where a man was wearing a suit and the other group was shown a picture of the same man wearing a Burger King uniform. Women rated the BK employee as being 2-3 points less attractive on average (The scale was either out of 10 or out of 7, I don't recall).

They did the same study on men and the results were negligible. 1 point difference for the BK employee but the majority of men followed the same rating distribution for both pictures.

I feel like a lot of people are misunderstanding what an "alpha male" is, or it's being re-defined for whatever reason.

An "alpha male" is the stereotypical version of what straight men want to be and straight women want to be with. So his persona by definition revolves around fitting into society. All of the "alpha males" i know had the most basic hobbies, basic thoughts, nothing really unique or different.

I'm not saying this is wrong or that they were doing it on purpose, but the people who "don't care about what others think" are viewed as eccentric at best, and weird, borderline dangerous at worst. Those are not alpha males.

this is more of a rant than anything. sorry if it gets messy.

The whole educational system is a pipeline that leads people straight into universities. It's illogical to complain about people essentially doing what they believe at that time is absolutely necessary to build a stable life. Hindsight is 20/20. As adults we see it for what it is but at that age they don't have enough life experience to combat a lot of the bulshit they're getting fed. Universities are long overdue for an overhaul anyways.

I do agree with the idea(and there was a funny thread about it) how you can measure the happiness in a relationship by the frequency and efficiency of the blowjobs. America is a really un compassionate society.

The collective responsibility for the well being of others just isn't an American value. Instead it's all about rugged individualism but that means people that are poor or sick or something get screwed over.

Why does the most prosperous country in the world need to be so cruel?

I want America to fail and Europe to succeed. But instead the dollar is now worth more than the euro which is ridiculous.

I grew up in the US and moved to Norway at 21. It opened my eyes to how balanced life could be, and what a society is like when equality is taken seriously.

One of the first things that struck me was no ogling.. I could walk around without unwanted stares or comments that used to happen to me daily in America. Men are much more professional at work, I am no longer constantly questioning their motives.

University here is free, and there are a better mix of women in STEM fields compared to many other countries. For example, there are more female physicians in Norway than male physicians.

Work life balance is deeply valued. We have a 37.5 hour work week, and flexible working is the norm. If you are having a baby you and your partner can choose between 49 weeks of maternity leave (+ 3 weeks before birth) at 100% pay or 59 weeks (+ 3 weeks before birth) at 80% pay. Fathers have to take a minimum of 15 weeks of paternity leave. The same benefits apply for adoption and same sex couples. You get extra paid time for multiples as well. Everyone gets 5 weeks paid vacation, basically unlimited paid sick leave and child care days for when your kids are sick.

I'm a little bummed about my job. I was told that I am permanent full-time as of Monday, but haven't seen any paperwork yet, including that ever-elusive health insurance card.

Also, there has been no movement on filling the two remaining vacancies in our department. In the meantime, the existing staff has divvied up the workload to pick up the slack. As the newest team member, I had the worst section to begin with, and now it has gotten exponentially harder. In fact, I've been given a quite literally impossible workload. There is no way any human could do this job in 8 hours. The good news is that my boss knows this and is also frustrated by the organization dragging its heels. I think that he will support me when (not if, when) there are complaints. All the same, I'm accustomed to doing good work ... it pains me to half-ass things, although I really have no choice.

I think I'll give it two weeks and if they don't move on hiring someone, it will be time for me to look for a different job. I may not have the power to fix the problem but it's up to me as to whether I want to stay and be subject to it.

What confuses me is despite being universally regarded as creepy and a loser, he managed to insert himself in enough social circles that he had extensive contact with women.

He also had at least one serious/ long term GF and some consensual encounters. But even in consensual encounters, he allegedly drugged and raped the women. There are drug/ rape videos filmed by him where the women haven't even been identified yet.

The defense has 30 women willing to testify against him. At least some of these encounters began as consensual. One can assume there are even more women unwilling to come forward.

So he doesn't seem to fit any of TRP molds. If he were a true omega loser he wouldn't have had the social opportunity to obtain victims.

But despite his extensive contact with women he was regarded as a creep and a pariah.

He's tall-ish (I think 5'11") and at least when he was younger, reasonably handsome. Maybe that balanced out the creep factor?

Or, maybe TRP isn't applicable to true sexual psychopaths? Any thoughts?

He also managed to go nearly 30 years avoiding any legal repercussions for his crimes, even with some victims getting medical attention and filing police reports.

Story my mom told me today:

The son of some friends of her is about 45. He is a police officer and always seemed perfectly normal. He had a situationship with a woman for 10 years. She is apparently still hoping for him to marry her at some point. Just this week they went kitchen shopping together.
