It seems that the loudest voices in culture extol being single and childless in late adulthood. But the happiest people I know personally are parents and young married couples.

When you are that old with a family, it seems that you don’t really fit in and social life is affected by that.

Often the narrative condemns people who say women, especially, should settle down and have children.

But I wonder how people really feel and how happiness is affected.

If you are older and without family, would you do it again or would you pursue a family and a home?

Even if you don’t fit that bill, share your thoughts!
