She’s attractive and apparently successful but I bet she wants a commitment from someone even more successful and those successful men are probably thinking her influencer fame won’t last long. She’s likely gotten used to a lifestyle that will fall on a guy to maintain. It’s understandable many successful men don’t want to commit to being her provider.

I don’t know what she earns but let’s ballpark it around $300k all in including the fashion job and her TikTok.

She will want a man who is handsome and who earns at least $500k.

The pool of men who exist with all features that are markedly better than hers, is going to be small even in a city like NYC and those men are drowning in options. As you reach higher levels of income, it’s an increasingly pyramid shape.

Having high standards is a good thing, but when your actions don't line up with what the average high-value guy looks for, you're going to have an issue finding commitment. In fact, you look pretty dumb, because you're actively doing things that push the average high-value guy away from you, while simultaneously complaining you don't have one.

Any guy that she's interested in that finds her social media videos, is likely not committing to her after watching them. It makes her look silly, or she does it intentionally to get views, because she can't figure out how to actually market herself.

This is exactly what the RP means when we say we don't care about women's career/how much you make. Just because you make bank doesn't make up for other things. It is probably a combination of pickiness (which is healthy at the right context) even at an age that they have way less options (women usually choose men their age or older, even when those men are more likely to be taken).

These women are not bad and they don't necessarily deserve this, but they are playing a game too late or rather their parameters are too strict.

The best example is Taylor Swift. She clearly wants a man at her level, not only on looks, but also on wealth. She is now trying with professional players, but those are basically poor compared to her. No, attractive billionares are probably not interested in Taylor Swift. They have infinite options inside their own social class and down.

These women should not blame all men, but rather adjust their own options and make some concessions. Men, having usually fewer options than women, do it all the time.

I think it’s just the way I look, because it doesn’t matter if they are super attractive or not whether they have money or not.

I do not comply. I’ve been single for a year and a half and stopped having any kind of sex or sexual relationship without commitment. I’ll find someone eventually but I have to decline those who are simply incompatible.

What I find is that there does seem to be some stigma against being pretty and female and also being single. A lot of girls I know do sex stuff that makes them uncomfortable just so they can present themselves as monogamous. It’s a status thing for women.

A lot of the high value men that high value women are considering relationship material are still enjoying polygyny or serial monogamy because, unlike most average men, they can. Why would they be motivated to settle down with just one woman? 3) Extremely picky. I am forced against my will to interact with a lot of females of all ages. At least 85% of them have uninteresting personalities and their style isn’t all that. Sure, a lot of young women are “pretty," but most middle-aged women are chopped. Also, middle-aged women are generally more confident so their personality shows a lot more than shyer, hotter, younger women. To be honest, a lot of them have shitty/cringe personalities and without the charm of youth it’s just plain sad. Not saying I’m much better since there’s a real possibility I’m gonna be ugly as hell too when I’m older.

For a woman, it’s the same thing: most men are mid and are primarily interested in sex. Sure, an attractive women has unlimited options initially, but men who have options are picky, and nobody wants someone that doesn’t have any options.

You are making the false assumption that all people are able to be attracted to and pick healthy relationship partners. Some people are drawn to what isn't good for them. Quite a lot actually. Attachment issues, trauma, mental health, ...

And then there is still the topic of being able to identify a good partner when you see them, even if you don't have issues drawing you to bad partners. People in larger cities tend to be more focused on their careers, social networking, and generally looking out for number one. When I was single there were plenty of nice men, I just didn’t like them in that way for whatever reason and it wouldn’t be fair to them if I had settled. I wasn’t single because of lack of eligible men, just because they didn’t make me feel the spark that I was looking for.

When I did find my current boyfriend it happened so out of the blue. I met him at work and we slowly got to know each other and fell for each other. This is one of the reasons I don’t recommend looking for a long term partner of dating apps. I’m not saying it’s impossible, it’s just not very likely because it’s very superficial.

So I don’t know who Mimi Shou is and don’t follow influencers, but I’m a conventionally attractive woman and make 6 figures so I’ll take a stab at this. Based on my experiences and those of women I know (economically successful, some attractive and some not so much), I would presume the problem is her standards. If you reach a certain level of financial/career success as a woman and expect to find a man who is more successful than you who you’re also sexually attracted to, then you’re probably going to be disappointed. If she’s happy single then great, there’s no problem. But if she longs for a partner then she should look for someone who she’s attracted to and has his shit together but is less successful than her imo.
