It happened to me once.

This model looking girl was absolutely sloshed, she just comes up to me and starts dry bumping me almost putting her hands over me and caressing me and telling me I’m handsome what’s my name.

It was at a big festival.

It's happened to me, a girl who was into me and making out with me (I made no effort to get with her, she started making out with me) ended up having her friends pull her away from me scornfuly (as if I had done something wrong?) because they didn't know me and didn't trust me. There is an element of safety and looking out for one another that can't be denied, but if you approach a woman in a group setting it will almost always be the least attractive of the group that will try to intervene, and more than simple jealously it is a fear of abandonment and loneliness that motivates this behavior. He’s there to meet people, like most everyone else is. So what’s he doing wrong exactly? Obviously he isn’t seeing that he is probably making whoever he’s talking to uncomfortable, so how would he go about doing better? “Dating advice” obviously doesn’t work here either.
