1) Not sure what to say about this one because I have no idea how that'd work. A bunch of men suddenly die? Women spawn into existence? Or is it a gradual shift from birth rates switching to 3/1? Either way it'd be bad for the economy and there'd be a bunch of depressed women. Pass.

2) More cheating and a less productive society. Pass.

4 and 5. I picked 4 because I would rather my partner leave if unhappy than stay and be unhappy - and likely take it out on me. I do not want to be settled for. I picked 5 because I do believe most products need to be shown effective in order to be sold, and this includes apps. It could be a little difficult to quantify, but hypothetically a nice idea.

I almost went with 6 since I am anti-porn, or at least the exploitative porn industry (which includes OF). I didn’t though since I can see that being a slippery slope of censorship when you include “pictures intended for arousal.”

It's clear there's a large contingent of lonely women out there, and I'm sure one of them would be happy to have a nice, stable boyfriend like me, but there's currently no way to connect with them. They don't use dating apps because they get inundated with low quality matches and sexually aggressive men.

Pick two.

1) Women now outnumber men 3 to 1. It won't matter as women will just double up with the most attractive and resourceful men.

2) Female sexual arousal is increased to match that of males and they will find much more men attractive.

Arousal doesn't nessasarily mean they will find more men attractive it could also mean they just want sex more often with select men ...If they find more men attractive they will be even more promiscuous cheating will go up and they will be even less interested in monogamy.

3) Womens fear and anxiety regarding social situations and strangers is made to be less sensitive and they will not be scared of being approached in public.

See above this just means women will be more promiscuous every chick will have an only fans.

This is the only real solution and the direction society is going in.I think it's a win win...Men will be less frustrated and women will be less harrased or bothered by men.Women may be forced to double up but many women are allready doing that we see this with most HVM having multiple baby mommas ...and plenty of women have multiple baby daddies...this trend will just increase.Only men that easily attract women will partake in dating the rest will find contentment in other venues.

5) Dating apps are mandated by law to be effective in forming relationships.

You can't mandate attraction people will just not use them or they would shut down due to compliance issues...I once considered an idea for an app that that required user to go on dates and submit proof after they got 3 matches before they could message anyone else...I think this could work..but at the end of the day these apps are designed to make money by keeping you swiping and paying.People would probably just go on meaningless dates just to get more matches.

I've never had a problem with 3. Women don't seem to get apprehensive around me. I don't think that it's as much of an issue for men as some of them think that it is unless they actually seem actually threatening in some way.

4 actually did work for me somewhat. More women did approach me when I wasn't seeking a relationship. They usually weren't women who were all that attractive, though.

I don't like dating apps, so no option 5.

6 has no real effect on dating, in my opinion.

Stop shaming and start encouraging low value men to have productive lives without women. (End this "You're a loser but a bigger loser if you don't stick around for us to reject you!")
Recognize transactional relationships the form of prostitution they are and make them illegal. (Basically, end marriage as far as government and law is concerned and make all marriage contracts a completely private matter.)
My favorite "poison the well" idea where we put a SSRI antidepressant in the worlds water supply that is designed to maximize the specific side effect of lowered libido and sexual dysfunction in men. Men would then have about as much urgent desire for sex as they would for weeding a garden or switching to winter tires. Sexual need would go from #1 to about #84 on a man's priority list.

If we did #9, feminism would be on fire planet wide and relegated to the pages of history in about a week. The most common common responses women would get from men going forward would be:

Definitively 2. Women's total lack of libido is what made the dating market so lopsided to begin with - you fix that, you fix everything.

Number 1 sounds good in theory, but in practice you're just handing women a loaded gun. With a 3 to 1 majority, women have carte blanche to do whatever they want. They could, for example, make it illegal for men to retire, or make men ineligible for social benefits. The inevitable end result ofc would be an actual incel rebellion, but a lot of men are going to suffer in the meantime.

Number 3 wouldn't really accomplish anything. Women aren't fearful or anxious, they just use that as an excuse.

Number 4 is just the flip-side of 2: instead of giving women a libido, you just neuter men instead. No ty.

Number 5 isn't really workable as most women on dating apps are only there to stroke their egos, or possibly to advertise their OF. If you make it illegal to use dating apps for anything other than their intended purpose, the m/f ratio on most apps would be something like 100/1.

As for number 6... I think OF should absolutely be banned, but let's be honest, there's a always going to be a demographic of men who won't be able to secure a partner, no matter how much you try to stack the deck in their favor. Those guys need access to porn, and society owes them at least that much.

I find the colossal discrepancy in interpretation of the consequences of that option wildly amusing because it seems most of the women here are of the impression #4 translates to men having higher standards for women and being more reserved about entering relationships.

I take the more literal reading, wherein it means a statistically significant number of more men actively choose to or are content with voluntary celibacy, even if it means permanent lifelong celibacy and abstinance from either sex or relationships. In other words, it means considerably more men remaining permanently single for life. These are not the kind of men that will put effort into making themselves attractive to the opposite gender. These are the types of men who will do nothing at all in the way of relationships, will do nothing to seek out or gain the attention of women, including the ones they're interested in, and focus exclusively inwards towards themselves, friends, or to immediate family.

Implementing 1 and 2 sounds like a way to completely flip the dating market upside (men get to behave like women currently do and women have to deal with life as men know) by nstantly driving up the demand and lowing the supply of men. Which sound like fun.

Like wise, implementing these two would probably have the knock on effect of the rest of them.

However the best outcome for society would be 3 and 4.
