Whenever the topics of body count, what is high, what is acceptable, slutshaming, etc. come up men who hold preferences for women with a low count bring up studies and research about how promiscuous women are more likely to cheat and divorce while sex pozzies will give explanations such as insecurity, purity culture, poor sexual performance, etc. However, none of that matters at all.

When a man is turned off by a promiscuous woman he ain't thinking about the higher chances of divorce that he read about, he ain't thinking about the likelihood of her cheating, he simply feels an ick torwards her promiscuity. It's not rational, it's a primal dislike for promiscuous women that comes from instinct rather than reason.

When a guy discovers that a girl is a virgin he ain't thinking "Cool, she's got no one to compare me to so she won't know if the sex is bad", he's thinking "Cool, i'll get to be her first. Nice!". It doesn't come from reason or logic, it's not a machiavellian scheme to trick a naive girl, it's simply a primal like for sexual purity in women.

99% of us who care about body count don't do so BECAUSE of rational reasons, it's the opposite, we search for rational and logic reasons to justify our primal likes and dislikes.

Instead of arguing and debating "slut bad VS slut good" we should just unapologetically embrace our preferences and respect our icks. We don't have to justify or rationalize why we feel a certain way.
