I think blackpill is growing more popular with young guys these days than the redpill tbh. I keep seeing teenagers/guys in their twenties venting about how it’s over for them because they were born 5’5” and ethnic. Doomerism is at an all time high on social media.

Calling it "redpill" is still far from mainstream, but a lot of redpill-light ideas are definitely part of the mainstream. They always were to an extent, but, in my experience, there's more widespread understanding of it now than 10 years ago.

I'm older now. I'm in my early 50's. Well put together, decent shape, dress nice, good career, house paid off, average/decent face. Lots of great things going for me 10 years after the big divorce.

And I'm starting to get occasional (and increasing) interest from women my age and in their forties (more the latter actually). There seems to be a lot of newly divorced 40-something women, often single mothers with older kids, looking for "decent, nice stable men".

And I can't run from these women fast enough. Since "share our lives together" means mashing living situations and finances together, gotta say...

Fuck that noise.

I'm not turning my 100% independent living arrangements into this "couples thing" where one day I get kicked out and I'm on the street trying to find out where my furniture went.

How does this relate to dating? People spend more money when they’re single. The powers that be want a gender war, they want you fighting with your neighbors.

A happy community can entertain themselves. And the financiers in control don’t want that. They want you struggling to date so you spend more on therapy, pills, alcohol, gyms etc to fill a void they create

I think what has happened is that the comfortable notion that the Red Pill only applies to basement dwelling incels has been steadily dispelled.

The majority of us were just convinced that "that could never happen to me, I don't look like a creepy neckbeard, I date, and I get along with women just fine! I'll find my princess sooner or latter." And now that it's "latter," much much latter, a lot of men are finding the real Red Pill (truly waking up) and discovering to their chagrin that all it's precepts do apply to them as well.

That's because The Red Pill is a set of kernels of truth that create a domino effect where, when you notice on thing, you tend to notice another and then another and another; until you eventually just wake the hell up to the bigger lie.

And the biggest kicker is that being Red Pilled does not require you to even be consciously aware of the concept of a Red Pill. As long as you are cognizant of reality, and you understand it's metaphors, you are technically Red Pilled. You are awake and aware.

The other kick is that once you notice all the patterns you can never unsee them. And they do not all apply just to women. Half of the problem is men's own stupidity and simping behaviors which contribute to the patterns that make up the gears of the machine. It is little wonder why a lot of men are just going "Fuck this shit!" and either going the Pickup Artist route where all they concern themselves with is playing the field and enjoying themselves or the MGTOW route of building their own world of values and goals separate and apart from all the bullshit around them.

I also think that guys idea of their equivalent is a woman with like the same BMI as him if he's healthy weight, and a woman who similarly had less dating experience. Those women are much less common than the men are. Especially over 21 year olds.

She also needs to be like at least a 6 in the face, reasonably feminine, and nice.

Unfortunately guys on here who can only get with women post hoe phase off an app are faced with a difficult decision/set of actions they can take. It's not going to be easy to find a reasonably attractive woman who has little to no dating experience.

I guess something bad must be happening if there's this many frustrated guys out there. Surely 60% of under 30 year old guys are not horribly unattractive or have some kind of issue that makes them undateable.

I wonder if the economy going to shit has anything to do with it, or if it's just a cultural trend where women decided they don't like what's being offered. Or maybe it's that the majority of people in America are fat. I just don't know.

A lot of women are on a sort of collective ego trip at the moment.

But I’d disagree that if you visited those forums that people would be surprised. I think the basement dwelling comments come from women who themselves are insecure. You have to understand that men can’t struggle in isolation. Women are getting affected by this too but they are often too proud to admit that they are struggling or they externalize their struggles to an external locus of control and society will enable them for doing this but we discourage men from doing it.

You’ll still find that those “bachelors” are often misogynistic and their lack of experience has led to them projecting an ideal relationship that has little to do with reality.

Red pillers often point to them knowing the truth, being science and facts based, yet you post sttuff like "most men struggle to find their equivalent" while science says the exact opposite. Couples are growing MORE similar with every year we progress to a more equal society. Homogamy/assortative mating is guiding human mate choice. There is no other way than to end up with your equivalent. Most men ARE in equal romantic relationships right now and most of the rest have been or will be in the near future.

The logic is that TRP doesn't define itself by any specific arguement, it defines itself as "the truth" or "reailty" not otherwise being represented in the common dating advice. What that means is that that anything shared between the two is not red pill, by definition because it is already being represented in the common dating advice.

So, the "common sense" ideas making it into the mainstream? Like say "get in shape if you want a better chance at dating" is objectively not red pill because it fails to meet the first requirement of being a truth not otherwise represented. Everyone already knows that. They knew that before the red pill.

The real problem is often assuming that people in your life that have to deal with you on a day to day basis are lying or misrepresenting the truth when they give you advice like "don't worry, you'll find someone". Its not an act of empathy to help maintain a healthy outlook, or even just a softened response to avoid you getting offended. No, they are not telling the truth, because the truth matters more than feelings or not being screamed at by a man child at work.

Got a bit judgy there, but I think I made my point. Just cause people aren't telling you the brutal truth doesn't mean they are lying, and just because they let you fail on your own does';t mean they want you to fail.

It's because we are more isolated as a society and glued to social media and phones. Since COVID socializing went down and people went to dating apps and passed time with things like TikTok YouTube and what not. So most people are chronically online. So it made more people frustrated and chronically online. Grifters like Fresh and Fit. Tate. Pick me Pearl. And others began pouring into the TikTok algorithm. And was getting more chronically online people who struggle with dating. And that's how it became more mainstream. Because it went viral. Before it was just a little angry echo chamber of men like a certain community. But because of it going viral it went to more men.

It's not because people are waking up it's because people were bored, lonely, and isolated during COVID. And dating apps weren't working so it must be the fault of these hypergamous hoes. (Dating apps just don't work) Not being chronically online and struggling. Red Pill is trash. It's pseudoscience passed as fact. But is just a bunch of sad hurt boys trying to get their one up on someone instead of going to therapy to actually resolve their underlying insecurities.
