As I saw on FDS they were saying how the 6 6 6 (6ft tall, 6 in dick, 6 figure income) rule was just wanting an AVERAGE man with a little higher pay. Here are the 2 main issues

1) For some men it’s way too hard for them to either get casual sex or enter an LTR

I don't quite know what you mean by enormously high standards, I think most women want guys who make as much if not more than them, is a couple of inchs taller, and is more fit than them. Honestly what has started to bother me is it seems like young men who come from a wealthy background tend to have more success sexually with middle to maybe upper-middle-class women but then they actually pair up with someone in the same socio-economic bracket after sleeping with multiple women than the middle-class guy has to compete to either date/marry these women who have already been alpha widowed. Many women seem comfortable staying single or being FWB's with higher value men and this leads to a gap of attraction that men either need to date down lookwise, wealthwise and what not to solve or either improve until they can get casual, or just opt out altogether.

Well, height requirements, income requirements, behaviour requirements (or restrictions) , to name a few.

Some of these are possible to work on, but with height requireme ts flr example, you really cant do much. Im lucky that i am 6'1", but if i were 5'5" that could disqualify me for a lot of girls. Or i would have to work a lot harder to make up for it.

The dating world reflects it somewhat. You will see average couples often but the women are often not being very despectful of their men, they dont truly submit to them and often they end up leaving.

The issue is that regardless of what women say their standards are and how much variety there is between what women say their standards are (so that women can have high standards because low competition), men aren't listening.

The majority of the grievances I see men have are in terms of physical attractiveness. Not in terms of being a good boyfriend, being a good person, and generally improving the life of the woman they are with. Nor does it have to do with a sense of style or charisma. Those are things every man can work and improve on. Physical attractivess? Not so much after a certain point.

Most guys here aren’t complaining that they have to treat a woman nicely to get a date. They’re complaining that they have to fit a very narrow set of physical preferences to have any meaningful success in dating. Men and women having less sex than 20-30 years ago. Women control sex so if society as a whole is having less of it, it's because women are choosing to abstain from having sex.

Women not even considering to settle down till their 30's, if they even settle down at all. If you're 21 year old man who wants to marry and start a family, you're forced to wait till your 30's or older, because women don't want the average man at these ages.

I have no issue with average women having high standards. They should at least try to have them. They just shouldn’t be having casual sex with the few high value men out of their league who meet those standards. It makes for a lot of bitterness in the dating market when they do.

When a woman’s waits for the men in her actual attractiveness league to impress her and doesn’t date them and have sex with them until they do, this is what motivates men to improve and become what those women want. Preface: I’m a young dude, lots of friends, so more anecdotal experience than anything. I’ll try to cover your points as you list them.

The high standards are dating out of your league. Most women go for a tiny statistic of men. Basically, not enough supply to meet demand and a lot don’t realize this. This conclusion can be both reached through statistical data(how women rate attractiveness, etc)(others in the thread are prolly giving links, im lazy) as well as real life experience with family and friends, so anecdotal.

The dating world does somewhat reflect this, check old like rates and male/female ratio disparity. Virginity is on the rise, we have movements like incels and crap. Anecdotal evidence of my own also reflects this, just watching the average dudes in my life flailing and the really good looking ones just doing ok. Got this one really smart average guy I know, was fucking considering suicide over how lonely he was. He was basically treated like shit constantly by women. It was sad.

It’s really an issue for society at large. A large amount of dissatisfied young men is never a good thing, look at incels. Marriage rates, declining birth rate. All this affects society. Now instead of macro, look at micro. You have men who feel like they can never even measure up. There are movements dedicated to men abandoning dating or ever finding a partner, along with other movements who also target these lonely young men, that’s not good. At the end of the day, we all want to be loved, but current stuff means most of us aren’t. Men don’t have as many strong social connections as women do I’ve noticed, so the gap isn’t as readily filled.

I like to consider leagues statistically. Many others don’t, but generally it’s a level where your worth is summed up based on value. Like top 10% looks or wealth. Like rich people who are average looks can land someone in a higher attractiveness league because of what both parties value. For men, usually it’s looks and agreeableness. I can’t confidently say what women value.

It's the exact same issues in both sides it just works differently. Men get very little action in dating typically, like low as shit levels of matches and contact. But, if you do it means the woman is typically into you a decent amount, especially if contact continues.

On the contrary, women get tons of interraction, but so much of it is from guys they don't align with so it's on them to pick and choose who they meet with.

I personally don't think it's "wrong" for average or ugly women to go for the most attractive men? But it does contribute to entitlement which often leads to disappointment and unwarranted bitterness against men on her part.

Less attractive women who regularly hook up with or have short flings with "chads" will develop an inflated sense of her own attractiveness and desirability. It doesn't fully register in your brains that a guy doesn't need to really like you to want to have sex with you, and become more choosy the more commitment

Here is the breakdown.

Women on dating apps are given an automatic handicap in terms of their looks and desirability. This is because there are roughly three guys for every girl. This automatically means that women can be more picky and choose men that are better looking and ignore vast swaths of men that are your average guy.

Yes you are two consenting adults, but because women are essentially picking the top echelon of men in terms of attractiveness this also means average women are getting together with above average men who have options. Above average men with options generally don't settle down.

There are literally millions of anecdotal data points of men who are essentially ignored on dating apps and almost never get to talk to somebody or match with somebody. These are guys and yes also below average looking guys that are completely unable to capture the attention of women. Historically speaking these men normally would find somebody but in the world of online dating this is simply not true.

When you have an incredibly high population of single men and sexless men when compared to surveys in the past this can only mean one thing. Women are avoiding a large chunk of the male population. The data also suggests that these women are all sharing the same small segment of top echelon men if you compare the sexless rate of women compared to men. What do you think it means when a small segment of men are getting the majority of sex and a large segment of women are also getting sex? Try to couple that information with the fact that women are generally unhappy with online dating because they can't get a man to commit. It's because all these women are trying to get the same good looking guys to commit to them when these men have options. The only possible explanation is that the women are chasing after unavailable men.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard of women claim that they would never have swiped right on the guy they are currently dating that they met in real life. There is something about online dating that makes women avoid large chunks of the male population that they otherwise may not avoid in real life. Men have been shown to be far more egalitarian when it comes to trying to match with women. Because of the handicap that women are enjoying in online dating this generally means the matches that men get tend to be with women who they themselves find to be not as attractive as they would prefer or what they are normally used to get in. That is men are matching with women who may be a couple points lower than themselves. When guys don't feel they are matching with women who are at their caliber just makes it easier for them to use the women for sex instead of relationships. This is where the source of all the disappointment is coming from on both sides of the gender spectrum.

Secondly, just because a socially desirable man lay with you once and is willing to do a one night stand with you again doesn't mean that you're at the same social level as him. Men lust after many woman/types. They can get truly attracted to many women.

Women find a smaller subset of guys to be the kind that can really light that fire (lust, physically very attracted to).

The issue is that many guys at no fault, will never have anyone feel very attracted to them. It's biological. Woman are wired to go for guys with good genetics (indications of disease resistance, grew large/strong). It's not exactly their fault, it's actually great for the human race that woman are selective. Guys are evolved to be a bit less selective. Guys generally have a higher level of attraction to the female body than vice versa.

One specific issue some guys face is that their height instantly disqualifies them. I'm tall, so i've come to realize how it benefits me and also how demoralizing it is for very short guys. It's brutal. It's seen as a 'flaw'. Women are hardwired to spot 'flaws' in guys and they are good at it.

What we are seeing is a trend in western 1st world countries where many men who would have been valued higher maybe 30-70 years ago, are now far less valuable. Women can hop on tinder etc and get a ton of interest. Essentially the market favors woman. What I and other guys purpose is that we don't gaslight the guys who are down bad in the hand they were delt. And we start thinking about how we deal with these things productively instead of afking while the horde of horny angsty incels proliferate/metastasize.

One solution would be to pair them up with the plethora of single mothers who are sort of married to the state. But these guys who in the past were okay with being a sort of cuckold, now realize that the bonds of marriage don't mean what they did. If the woman wants you as a provider, then wants to walk (and wasn't attracted to you physically anyway), then that can happen (and does).

We have a number of problems sprouting up revolving around the breakdown of what was common in the past (family, community) and some of the things that gave 'less attractive' guys meaning and the perseverance for good productive lives (providing for others) are increasingly not there.

Another possibility is war, which sociologists and anthropologists know can exert a pressure against some of these issues. Not a really good solution but there were no incels after ww1-2 in the most effected countries. The reality is that we are seeing the rise of women and the extreme decline and despair of a certain demographic of guys. Maybe we need a matriarchy with a tax on single ladies similar to how we've done likewise to men in the past? When women become successful enough. But the smartest women realize that working 100 hours a week as a lawfirm partner is a 'rigged game' and it makes most people feel aweful. What women don't get is that if they can treat a guy well they can essentially have a slave willing to work coalmines or 100 hour weeks as a lawyer. All is compounded by the media campaigns to make guys look dumb in commercials, tv, movies etc while building women up. Some of that is okay.. But guys see that constant messaging in combination with the gender dynamics/prospects of their ideal (family) and many want to give the system the finger (ones who are attractive/successful). Those guys do it by non-commitment.

People laugh at the 80-90 year olds who say 'sex with commitment' like that's a crazy thought. But to remove commitment from sex has caused/is causing a host of problems. Women are being lied to about the biological clock and lied to about how having children/family isn't really that great/meaningful but once they are getting older, or achieved the career goal, reality hits them that they were misled by a society that devalues the things that often give lives the most meaning.

Guys and gals both have issues with life meaning and the incels and woman are all too scared and gaslit to actually learn/talk about that. The intelligent women who are achievers need beta guys to let them 'have it all' but it's easy to lose respect/attraction for those men. The intelligent men who are increasingly aware of the anti-family anti-responsibility anti-commitment propaganda fed to women, are becoming warry and selective. There is going to be a massive number of single mothers and post-biological-clock women (some high achieving) who are unhappy. There is going to be an increasingly angry group of guys at the bottom. There will be a significant group of attractive guys who won't commit. We'll see what happens to the countries that are ahead of the curve on this. It's a massive societal change.

The only issue is that women complain. They whine, "where are all the good men" - and mainstream society entertains this whining. If you swipe reject 99 men and then get ghosted by 1, that's a "you" problem and people are right to laugh at you.

...maybe you personally aren't complaining. K. Great. Then there's no issue. Go in peace.

But if you spend your 20s being passed around by 1% of men, and then in your 30s you whine that nobody wants you, expect to hear a word or two of criticism. Because it is your fault.

Great question! The same way you know that you're asking too much in any other market: when you're not getting what you want.

In the job market, if you're applying to google and apple and demanding to be instant VP, the fact that they turn you down indicates that you're out of your league. Same with dating. If your goal is sex and you're a woman, then your "league" is almost certainly those 1% guys. Good for you!! Fuck as many and as often as you like (also, call me!)

But what women usually do is switch from the goal of sex and hookups, to the goal of a committed relationship ...and they do this without lowering their standards. LOL! Your relationship "league" is far, far below your sex league. So if you're a woman looking for a relationship and you're rejecting 99 guys and then the one you don't reject fucks you and ghosts you ...that's how you know you're going out of your league.

BTW, I say the exact same thing to guys. If you're only hitting on 10s and getting no bites, they're out of your league. Your options are (a) better yourself or (b) lower your standards.
